Harrahs Resort & Casino Review

My wife son and I go to Harrah's on a semi-regular basis. We mostly go for the use of the casino but on occasion will enjoy dinner and also an overnight stay. The rooms are spacious and the accommodations fun including the outdoor pool area with a river to float around in a big inner tube. The casino reward program is not only hooked up to all the Harrah's resorts but is also relatively generous. If you are military or retired military they are very generous with a free buffet pretty often. The buffet they have a number of restaurants ranging from relatively inexpensive to more upper class. Overall, we always have a pretty good time.

Staff does a good job herding all the gamblers and pool violators. Would come back again and not sure why Mexican restaurant gets knocked. Great food!

Nice clean rooms good environment in the casino.My favorite location in the Casino was this little bar named Corked Lounge,friendly bar tenders and a good selection of wine.On weekends adjacent to the bar they have karaoke night and it totally ruins what used to be a nice bar to enjoy wine,instead I have to listen to HORRIBLE vocals.

Always a safe way to lose or win money. The motel earns 5 stars. The outdoor pool is a definite plus with a built on lazy river your sure to enjoy yourself in. Sundays near the pool dance your fins off listening to local Reggae bands. This is a place the entire family can enjoy.

Had breakfast at 'Rita's. The Torta Cubana was delicious.

Wonderful. Immaculate casino, great buffet, machines are all new and sparkly too. Want to go back and stay the weekend. 10/10 Would mos def recommend.

The rooms are nice here but the attitude from employees rude, argumentative and too many restrictions here. They go way overboard with covid, to the point you won't enjoy your time. I would go some place else until they can treat customers better and not get after them with masks, or bringing any kind of drinks in here even if it's non alcohol they question it. You want to go the pool that's a hassle just go some place else, Nevada isin't as bad.

Place was great, lazy river was great, food was great it s our fourth stay here but god the cleaning service is wack, we we re all tired so instead of letting maid clean we asked for toiletries then later when we were ready for the room to be cleaned they said room was already cleaned, we asked for atleast the linens to be changed and yet it has been hours and out linens haven t been changed. I m utterly disappointed.

The room was clean, but the food was bad, some parts were good I suggest eating at the Cafe.

It was fun but no one on the trip won anything. I want be going back.

Been on hold for 14 min to get hung up on twice!!! Guess we will book at another hotel.

Facilities that invite you to have a good time either in a room or in the slot area, in the pool or say with the jacuzzis that are several so you literally do not have to fight them the poolbar I do not give the five just by the way So ugly that most waitresses and bartenders have

Terrible. Underage gamblers everywhere, HANDSHUFFLED ONCE at a blackjack table. Like Pala NO SLOT WINS ALL DAY, not one bell not a flashing light or woo boo. Didn t see a single winner anywhere tables or slots. Bad crack head scene ... WATCH OUT

Stopped by for the buffet as we had free vouchers. Food was decent, nothing to write home about. Many food theme stations (American, Asian, Italian, Mexican). Sushi station needed a lot of work; only 4 different types of rolls, 1 being CA roll. Some stand out items were the oysters, pho (best broth in all the buffets we've eaten), and the taro ice cream. The dessert bar was enticing.

Not into gambling but casino looked fun. Smoking still allowed though.

Harrah's needs a resteraunt make over. LOUSY selection. So so food. What about room service?

This is a great hotel to stay in. Rooms are a good size and clean. Slot machines are fun! There's many food options. My only complaint would be with the housekeeping. The housekeeper got mad for asking her for an extra towel and refused to give us an extra one. Other than that, very relaxing. Two big pools, plus a lazy river!

Came for spring break staycation. Short lines, friendly service, easy access to hotel entertainment. The rooms were nice, shower fantastic. Room cleaning service great.

Smoking in the casino is always a turn off for me but the rest of the hotel was great.

It's ok. Nothing to really get excited over. It's what it is. Buffet, gambling some other foods and that's really it. It's bigger then Valley View casino and alittle bit nicer. That's it. We didn't stay in the hotel just visited the casino.

Nice little resort and casino an hour outside of San Diego. Bring your players card and your wallet!

My kid loved the lazy river. I enjoyed playing the tables and my wife slept like a baby because of their cozy bed. Room service takes a while to get and jas surcharges, unfortunate enough because their cafe only does seat-ins.

The pool and lazy river kick ass! And I love how they support green efficiency! So many plug in stations for electric cars.

Had a fantastic weekend here. Celebrated ny nieces birthday here. Enjoyed a massage and facial at the newly renovated spa. Our room was great. Tried several different places to eat. The atmosphere in the casino was fun and exciting. All the employees we encountered were friendly and courteous. Could not have had a better time

What an amazing stunning casino. Everything about this place is great. A must visit if your in the area!

It was ok. Everything is too expensive. $300 for a room with no coffee maker and no amenities. I spent $35 at Starbucks to have somebody steal my order and wait 30 minutes. The people working there were nice but it's just not worth it. When the pools and everything opens back up I think it will be worth it.

We love hanging out at Harrah's Southern California Resort. Service is great, gamBling is fun and rewarding, food is top notch. We have access to at least 7 casinos in this area. This is our #1 choice.

Great place. In the mountains. Great restaurants great spa and only 1 hour from San Diego

Visited for the casino, had a great time! Beverage requests we're fulfilled pretty quick. Highly recommend Earl of Sandwich for a late night bite if you're hungry and the price isn't too bad

Best casino around in my opinion. Never crowded but has all the games

Nice and clean casino and spa. Uses Total Rewards players club cards. Good selection of tables and slots. Plenty of free parking.

We got the cheapest room for the night and it felt like we git the high end suits, amazing peopel and fun games would def recommend

I go for The Buffet.. it's pretty good, not badly priced.

Clean and Updated Harrah's in Southern California- What else could you need?

Great little vacation kids had a blast. Pool was awesome specially staying in a cabana both days was awesome. Very roomy and comfy. The food is great. It was a great experience. Definitely doing it again before summer ends.

Stopped only to eat a Smash Burger. Can not find any other in area...sadly..all closed. Nice treat.

I love coming here. It was the last casino my late husband and I won money at and where we spent our honeymoon.

Went for a rock show and while the venue's service was great,it was a little weird having a rock show indoors with such a low ceiling. It was throwing the acoustics off a noticable amount.

Went to have a drink and dinner, staff are always friendly

Had lunch at the food truck,carne asada burrito looked like it was made with ground beef.

The Harrahs resort is a great place to have a gathering with friends or a date night. I went recently with a group of friends to smashburger. We did not have to wait long for our food, the service was very friendly. The restrooms were very clean and nicely decorated. We gambled and had some good fortune. Overall we had a great time.

Buffet was wonderful! Food was definitely better than station casinos in Vegas.

Harrah Rincon located in San Diego County. Stayed in one of the new remodeled rooms located on the 16th floor with mountain view. The room and service was very good as always.

Not to pricey. Great atmosphere. Delicious restaurants. The lazy river is the highlight of the pool. Really enjoyed the bathtub on the south tower.

Had a wonderful experience here last year. Everything was great! So much so that we are heading back tomorrow. Well worth the 5 hour flight for us. A great place to unwind, relax and have some great entertainment and food. The taco truck set up in the hotel is a fantastic touch. Need something to tide you over? Can't beat a $2 taco.

Very nice, clean. Only reason its not 5 stars is that it smells of old, old cigarettes in certain areas.

Noisiey ac clicks on and of all night. Big shower head but several plugs clogged and no water pressure.

Not much going on the casino floor. Twice I had an employee cut between my wife and I to the point that they bumpt into us. $32 for a buffet is too much.

Stopped here briefly but impressed by the super friendly staff, dining options, and cleanliness. Guests I chatted with staying at the resort seem to be very happy, too.

The place is very beautiful, but they are not able to solve a problem, example:
I made the reservation of a room supposedly with pool and hot tub service for my husband, my three children and I under 19 years old on July 8, 9 and 10, 2020.
But when we arrived at the place around 5 in the afternoon, they did not allow us to enter the hotel because my children are under the age of 21 and they could not be in the pool since there in the pool they serve alcoholic beverages, which is never They told us that is why my husband made the reservation, otherwise if we had known that we would not make any reservation. Well, when we got there they did not allow us to enter for that reason, the guard said that he would call his manager to fix this matter, which they left us waiting for two hours and the said manager never arrived ...
The children / young people, my children were already very hungry and since the manager did not arrive, my husband and I went to the Front desk to have what happened, but they explained to us about the pool that my children could not be there for the reason that already I explained, well, well, we told them that even if they were allowed to enter the room alone, which they did not want either ... well, these children already dying apart, it was the birthday of one of my children and we were going to celebrate it there ... and well, he couldn't do anything
My husband and I were already upset and asked to speak to someone else who could help us and no, there was no one who could solve the problem that if the children could be alone in the room without using the pool, but nothing
For this they did not let us enter any restaurant so that we could eat at least in what according to the manager would call us by phone to let us know if we could be with the children alone in the room, but we resolved that call around 10:35 of the night but it was not the manager who was supposed to help us solve this matter, or something well disorganized, well, this call was only to ask me if we wanted to cancel and it was all, I mean, these people from the Hotel Harras do not care about me at all our situation all the beautiful things that we thought would happen inside this place and my son's celebration fell apart by staff who have no experience, much less any human warmth and less attention for their clients, I hope this experience will turn up to someone who wants go to this site with children.

I love Harrah's Resort. I am there once a month for dinner, drinks and/or as an overnight guest. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food is great, especially at Rita's Cantons.
