Wonderful rooms and atmosphere..... only thing wish I would have known I could ask to change rooms to the garden.
Played Paigow for the first time. Great dealers, good service from the waitresses.
This is my third time visiting here.. took older best friend with me, she's disabled and needs help getting around. The bathrooms are always clean and I'm always able to find a disabled bathroom to get her into quickly. They have an area for smoking and non-smoking which I really like. The slots are pretty good, I won $200! about 15 minutes after I got there. And since this was a bus tour, this was a relatively cheap short vacation. Heads up to Miss Michelle..who runs the tour. I have visited both buffet and the "fast food" area as well as the bar. The buffet was good, though the hours are limited, just got to catch it when you catch it. The bar staff are awesome! Drinks were straight up strong, and served in a timely fashion. Great conversation as well. The "fast-food" area, is on the other end of the spectrum, there were four people working back there and a rather large crowd, but it still shouldn't take 15 to 30 minutes to get food that's supposed to be fast. Very disorganized, there was no flow. I used to work in this sort of organization on a grill just as they do, with several other Grill chefs... Each one of us had a specific job, or could pick up where the other left off sliding in as needed when the other chef got caught up with something else. It didn't work that way there. There was very little communication between the chefs. Each one at different occasions had to ask what was next or who was next... This is a waste of time. If it wasn't for the fact that the game was on the large TVs, the waiting would have been really tedious. I suppose it's a work in progress. The food there was okay, I've tried several different items on the menu, the best IS the burger. Followed by the Philly cheesesteak, but I give you a serious heads up on the pork loin, Don't Do It!!! The description is very deceptive. All it is is a fried processed pork pattie, on a bun! Shame on them for selling that trash for 7 dollars! Otherwise I would really recommend this place for a quick casino fix.
Nice place to grab a bite at the buffet, and spend a few $$ after you eat.
I live close by, definitely the best casino in the area. I visit semi frequently. The rooms are always clean, but if you have children nothing for them to do, no pool only 2 hot tubs and there's a minimum age for those. Only half the rooms have bathtubs, half are shower only, so if that's something you enjoy request at time of call. Service is always good, food is a bit pricey.
Was there an hour lost big..not one bonus round and no cash outs..this place is tight..
Some of the nicest people you will ever meet they greeted myself and my service dog with the upmost courtesy. I had an absolutely enjoyable time I would recommend this place to anybody.
I had a pool tournament in the banquet room and it was a great place but wish there was better lighting. Glad they dont allow smoking in the tournament area
Casino floor is extremely smokey, if you spend more than an hour or 2 your eye's will burn and head will ache. I've been going here for a long time and over the past couple of years the slots have become extremely tight, I used to be able to spend 2-6 hours loosing my $400, but the last couple of years I very seldom get more than an hour of play on $1 slots, max bet $2. The slots just eat your money and give you no play time. I go here for fun with the hopes of maybe a win or 2 each year, but expect to loose almost every time, I just want to be able to spend a few hours having fun playing the slots, but that doesn't happen anymore, I would have to spend close to $1000 just to spend 2 hours. The last 6 times I went I have been spending about $500 per hour on average if I stayed for an hour, most times I'm broke in under an hour.
I never stay here even with a free room, we stayed one time and the rooms smell like cigarettes even in non smoking and also smell a little musty, will never stay again.
Buffet is average, overpriced for quality of food you get, but OK for free. Three Fires Steak House has excellent food, but extremely expensive for a good steak, we spent $120 for 2 steaks and three drinks, thankfully we had comp money to help pay.
All in all we are done with the Prairie Band, costs way to much for the short period of time you spend on the floor, Vegas even pays better than here.
had a blast at the Keepers of the Fire BBQ contest this year even with the freak storm that washed us out! Tons of smiling faces and plenty to eat, we will be back next year.
Nice place. Out of 100 "pulls" of the slot machine, won money 10 times. Won about 10% of what I spent. Seem6a rather low. I have better luck elsewhere.
Went to hang out at the casino for the night. Had a good time.
Great food and convention room. Only drawback too smokey
With the newly remodeled add-on of a Bingo hall to even get more interested in the wonders of this already popular Resort and Casino.
Great place to work. Amazing Company that truly cared about people.
Room was fantastic!! Slot machines were extremely tight
I put 3000.00 slots, it was nothing nothing all day and nite. You don't want go there.... and, while I took shower, water every where, I couldn't turn off.. the end we have to moved to different room, but I got bug bite.. first and last time for this place.
Attended Prarie Band for a conference. The room was more than adequate enough for the 50+ people that attended as well. Staff was great about continuous follow-up on the snacks/drinks as well as housekeeping. The Buffalo Grill had good food and it's prepared right then and there (so there will be a wait). It is pricey due to it being a convenience, but this would be the second time I have eaten here and enjoyed both times! Looking forward to another class/conference at this location! If you're the gambling type, there are plenty of slots and tables to play at. Will try eating at the buffet during the next time around due to many people at the conference giving it an excellent review.
Fun place to gamble. Nice clean. Staff is freindly. If you go often you will get free prairie cash.free hotel rooms.free buffets
Casino is clean, not too smoky. New room for slots (replacing poker room) and many new machines are a nice addition in the recent months. Three Fires steakhouse was mildly disappointing when considering the cost. 9/10 for the service, 6/10 for the food. Our room was fairly small but clean. Apparently all the rooms were booked so we were given a handicap accessible room. Thus the bathroom was large and may have affected the size of the bedroom area. I will be back for the casino and possibly the hotel, though very unlikely for the steakhouse.
Great place and this does not justice to it. It's an amazing place
Buffet food was very bad it was very high price. Hotel was very very nice. Would stay again but would not not played slots or eat the buffet again that was not good at all.
Not bad...don't seem to win as much here but the amenities do make it worth the trip!
It's a nice hotel and casino with a few different options for meals. It is clean however as a non smoker I had a non smoking room but it still had a light smoke smell to it. I guess it is hard to avoid since smoking is permitted and very common inside the building.
RV park is nice, level sites, laundry good. Casino okay pay outs on machines. Pay for drinks when playing. Food not bad for mid Kansas.
Always a great time. Love the new look and machines. Food was good as well.
Good atmosphere and very polite staff. I love the promo program they have, I almost always have prairie cash to use while I'm there. Sometimes I win and other times I lose my a$$ but there's always a fun time to have. Out of the casinos in the area this one's the best. Thanks PBC!
Update:
Went there earlier this month and walked out with another jackpot hand pay. This place is the best I've been to.
had dinner at three fires. good was good, not exceptional for the price. service was slow almost lackadasical. probably will not return.
Ihavent been in the casino , but the camp groungs are nice.
Very nice casion, people are friendly. Try the Buffalo Grill for a great hamburger that's worth the drive!
Slots are very tight. If you go stick to table games. Played several of them the only one that just absolutely destroyed me was 3 card poker. Everything else was up and down.
Great casino but couldn't use free play on video roulette like I could at Argosy
Nice casino, cash machines were down, long lines at tge cashier windows
Because I don't like poorly ventilated casinos, and because everyone is very nice, and tons of choices on slots translates to I'm able to play machines I like in a clean, non Smoky environment.
Had the misfortune to go to Prairie Band right after they "updated" the computer. Absolutely the tightest slots I have ever played. Apparently they are trying to pay off the new system quickly. Everyone I talked with was complaining about the lack of machines paying
paying...and go to a n
Place could be fun if they payout. Free play shoukd be more for the amount i spend in a weekend
I love the hot tubs and the rooms are amazing. The food in the buffet is great. The hamburgers in the deli are awesome.
They are always friendly, clean, and have wonderful food.
Disappointed, they have taken out many of my favorite machines and replaced them with more expensive ones. On the bright side, they have a new coffee bar
Classy but don't let the house take you....Great place to have fun and customer service is great
Machines were old...need new stuff....no tables to play blackjack
I love this place, Excellent Buffet! Friendly staff & several restroom locations.
Very good and waiter Travis was very great at his job
Room and casino were very nice. Buffet dinner and breakfast were o.k.
fun place to go for a change of things good food if you can get in never stayed the night not sure about how the rooms are
Had a good time when we first got there was winning in the casino but felt like it shut down the rest of the night could not win. Spent way too much not to win just a little back, loosen up the slots would be good but finally got to our room, it was a very good stay nice room very clean all in all will definitely be back because it was nice to get away from it all. Just one thing didn't like wearing the mask the whole time.
They have ongoing construction at this time so it is a little tricky getting around inside.
