Harrah's Prairie Band Casino Review

We love going out to Prairie Band we feel at home in the motel. It's the best place in Kansas for Bingo and we enjoy the action in the casino. Prairie Band also has some great shows .

Amazing food and amazing waiters... played slots and had an amazing time

They have a good mix of our old favorites and the newer machines. The food at the buffet is good not great. The steakhouse forget it, way too expensive for me. The coffee is good at the coffee shop.

Great variety of games, games were not too tight, friendly staff and not too smokey like other casinos. I just wish they would throw you some free play for the hour + drive both ways.

If you wanna win you better bring alot of money$$$$. Other than that it's a beautiful and clean casino, they even provide mask during this time!

The rooms are fairly nice but the casino was disappointing. They've done all the expansion and renovation but so many of the games look alike. They're either retro-old (which I still like) or they all have dragons or some other Oriental theme. They just play and look the same and there was a lot of grumbling about how tight they are. We will probably check it out again after the new additions but I hope they've got some more different games. I did enjoy the hot tub area being open all night.

My spouse and I wanted to get away for the evening and we ve lived in KS for about a year now and have never went to a casino. So we thought maybe we should check this one out. So we got there...and we were immediately greeted by what I think was a casino host..nice individual who helped us because it was our first time there. He gave us helpful tips of what would be available to us... After we got registered we got to gaming...the casino overall was nice and neat..friendly professional staff..they had new games I never seen as in new technology...So..after a while I wanted to explore the casino some more...so my spouse and I split up. Upon walking around...I noticed I started being followed by this big security guard ...I felt uncomfortable and didn t want to make it any more awkward so I kept walking around to see what machine I could play next! This individual made me feel soooo uncomfortable and insecure that every corner I cut he was there watching me! He made it noticeable and I didn t like it. So I got ahold of my spouse cause I felt really insecure that I was being followed. I also thought maybe it s a coincidence that we would be crossing paths but every time I did I noticed he was watching me....so I sat at a machine and waited for my spouse and told him what I was experiencing....so before we did anything else we sat for a minute until he reassured I was ok..because the environment was new he suggested he shouldn t have left my side..so after this we decided we wanted to try some food so we walked out of the casino...and this same gentleman saw us both walk out.!! Then me and my husband got looking for food that sounded appealing and we checked out the coffee shop snack area, walked pasted a bar and steak house and saw the bar and grille..by this time we were going to enter the casino again...to get to the bar and grille...just as we were entering this security guard rudely rushed past two individuals immediately stopping my husband and I...and it made me feel uncomfortable that he asked for our ID..we didn t argue or ask questions we let the man do his job..he checked my spouses ID but took a while with mine and it made me feel super uncomfortable. This security guard made me feel like I was being profiled and it felt unsafe...so the rest of the night my spouse didn t leave my side..and I m glad he didn t...I understand he had a job to do..but I crossed paths with MANY other security guards and none of them came this close to making me uncomfortable or giving me sense in a way of being watched just by walking around. But as we sat in the bar and grille we noticed that this man did not even card anyone one who was white..but would card people of a certain color...Although other than that my experience playing was fun..casino was a very nice clean environment...host and players club people were super nice..my main concern was just this security guard...other than that I hope our next experience is better than what we first experienced.

I very seldom win. I get no perks and it seems like all the old people win the cars trucks campers etc. So if you dont spend lots of money you get no perks. Crazy Huh!

Very nice clean rooms, just disappointed that restaurant & buffet closed so early! Kinda ruined my entire birthday dinner having to just grab a burger in the little cafeteria (even tho they were VERY good burgers)... it just isnt the same!
A soak in the outdoor hot tub with the waterfall was amazing! Both invigorating and relaxing at the same time! Exceptionally beautiful courtyard with fantastic park-like landscaping, two hot tubs, tiny strings of ambient lights on the trees, a great view of the stars at night, and a relaxing, warm fire pit in the center of it all!
I look forward to staying again!

Casino was pretty busy. Had a good time. Valet was a little slow, but not terrible.

It seems to be one of the better casinos i have been to.

Fiance and I went for our anniversary. The room was beautiful and the machines were fun. Restaurant was delicious!

Rooms are great , staff is exceptional and the casino has great games

I spent all my time in a large conference room and going to & from the restroom. The conference room was very nice. Comfortable seating, and tables for many of us, which made taking notes much easier. The restrooms were always clean, & only congested at break points during my event. The only thing I disliked was the heavy smell of cigarette smoke in between the room & restrooms, but it's a casino so that's to be expected.

Was comped a room for elite and won 800 on roulette from start of $20....good food and manager from front desk bar was really good at her job.

Just went out to gamble for a bit. Staff was super friendly and the place was very clean and well lit

$31 for a seafood buffet that had brown snow crab legs, I m not eating something that looks so wrong. In bingo parlor, woman at next table accused my daughter of taking her black out card. Bingo attendant came and grabbed my daughters to give to woman when we said , no, these belong to my daughter the attendant went through the woman s trash pile and found her blackout card. Never an apology to my daughter. I complained to manager, those cards are numbered, could of been handled differently. Never again.

Attended The Monkees concert. All around great venue.

Love this place my favorite casino and the best buffet.

Went to play Bingo..staff was professional and very nice

The room was clean, however the linens on the bed looked like someone had sat on them after making the bed.

Friendly bartenders. Very efficient cleaning being done . Stayed at the campground very clean and we'll kept.

Very polite and friendly employees, nice clean rooms, fun gambling, great little vacation!

I love this place! I can get pretty packed on Saturdays.

A good spot to get away just 20 minutes north of topeka. The rooms are nice and spacious and the service was on point.

They need to let people win more often before they suck your money away

Loved the no smoking inside. Video poker pay tables are terrible.
Steak house was wonderful. Prices are reasonable and service a d food top notch.
Played golf. A great course 4 to 5 hour play time. Also worth the money.

Prairie Band Casino was an awesome experience!! We really enjoyed our time at the steak house and in the casino!!

Just a short drive down the road get out and enjoy yourself. Rooms are good restaurants are good just a good time for relaxation enjoy.

Good black jack dealers. Surprisingly cheap drinks. Unfortunately a lot of renovations on the floor.

Well the steak house is AMAZING and worth every dollar. I would like to suggest some sort of Hans sanitizer near every slot machine!

I didn't win but had a great time and was taken care of.

Great Casino Experience but 10$ drinks is prohibitive

Service e was excellent. Staff very nice and professional.

The valet service had us waiting for 20 min and didnt say anything until I went inside; they had lost my car key. Wasted 5 hours of my Saturday and only gave us a complimentary lunch buffet to "compensate." The people were nice about it, but you literally have one job and that's to not lose my car key. Beyond pissed.

Great buffet and steak house, gaming area is a a little smokey at times.

I enjoy playing cards, but I have never been in a place that no one is smiling, I figure the point is to have fun, but for some reason everyone was grim, I believe I will keep going to KC for cards. This was my first time here and it was a real downer.

I greatly appreciated the deep bathtubs and high shower heads. Being over 6 foot it is hard to find hotels or motels that accommodate tall people.

This was the 1st time at the casino, plus I was Celebrating my April 1st Birthday & Easter holiday with my husband, son,and his girlfriend! The hotel rooms were clean and nice, but, they need longer blankets and the pillows were not very Comfortable to sleep on!! Especially if you have neck issues (pain)!
The dinner at the 3Fires Steakhouse was very nice! Friendly staff, great food, but had to WAIT a long time to receive our Food!! Also, Prices alittle to HIGH!! The casino was alot of Fun!! Enjoyed playing 21!! The staff was very helpful in explaining the Rules of the games and tolerated us, NewBee's!! who have never played before !!

We do WISH that they would put in an INDOOR Hot Tubs and OR Indoor POOL

We didn't give 5stars because there prices are to HIGH!! We would like to come back in the future more OFTEN ,But, ONCE a Year is all our Retired-Army income will Allow!!!! This Country of our's does NOT! PAY, it's Veteran's, Especially us WOMEN VETERAN'S!! enough to actually live on without having us still working Job's just to get by!!

No free play for signing up. Alot of travel but not alot of fun at this casino. The staff can't even smile and be courteous!! Won't be back!

Everything good except neither bedside lamp worked. Tried to change bulbs as floor lamp worked. No luck.. I think we had same room our last stay as bedside lamps did not work last time.

My mom and I go every couple weeks. Customer service could be better. No one seems happy to see us. No perks anymore.

Food is way too expensive 25.00 for 1 meal...who eats 25.00 worth of food!!!!

Fun atmosphere...great concerts and events. Comps and free play are good for the level that I play at.
