Harrah's Laughlin Hotel and Casino Review

My husband & I stayed for 4 nights, 2 weeks ago. The rooms have been renovated and they were nice, especially with the deal we received.

I liked that the casino has a no smoking casino floor area with table games as well.

Food options were pretty good. Only flaw is probably that there isn t maybe transportation options unless you re willing to call a cab. They do have a water taxi that runs but it wasn t running the night we hung around the hotel for us to see the other places up the river.

I would make the trip again if given the chance.

It is okay hotel, but some of the workers have bad attitud, and they don't have enogh workers to serve the drinks around the casino. We spend pretty good money there, for my first experience it was bad! The only very good thing is the buffete, that i really recomend it!

The room was average. The staff is always friendly. The beach area they advertise is really small. The hotel will not let you take a regular ice chest so beware, its a long way to the hotel to take the ice chest back. A small hand held cooler is allowed. Payouts on slot machines is in favor of the hotel (of course). If you win cash out.

Harrahs needs to put some money in this place to upgrade it.

The rooms were very clean and the staff were very nice

used to be my "go to" place in Laughlin. I prefer elsewhere now, but on this particular trip I had a good gaming experience. I know I will ultimately lose, just want some play for my money and this time I actually came out a small winner.

In July 2020 we had a nice room . We will be back the end of August. Dinner at the Range is wonderful and so delicious. The slots are tightest we have experienced.
Don't know if we can even afford to gamble at Harrahs this month since we lost so much in July.

Room was dirty and the casino is small. May be a better spot in the summer for the beach

Clean rooms. The craps table dealers were very helpful.

Wasn't allowed in the beach area because we were not a guest. Not ever staying at that hotel!!!

Great place to play cards. Roulette tables are awesome too.

The staff is very friendly, from the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles.
The rooms were comfortable and pet friendly.

Well the hotel and the Buffett and Starbucks smash Burger and pizza and Guy Fieris Mexican place is good people and customer service fabulous but had alot of fun drinks are awesome but haven't won any big money yet......beds are so comfy huge TV's I'll be back can't wait till pools open for the cabanas also theres lots to do you can rent the Polaris 3wheel car you can take tours of Grand canyon Hoover dam and other places you can take a water taxi to other casinos and a water boat tour to lake Havasu and you can see London bridge and have great time on Colorado river

Slept there 2 nights. Teribble decor...rooms shabby. Stayed there 10 years ago and it was wonderful. Need to step up their game. WHY DID YOU TAKE MCDONALDS OUT???!#!

The tv was down, the A/C was down. Mostly slots, maybe 4 tables.

We went to dinner at their buffet for seafood night. The food was pretty great. Not as much of a selection as I was expecting but what they had was delicious!

It's hard to find a parking place and you have to pay a resort fee

The rooms are a little dingy, but there is alot to do there. The beach is nice to have, wished they didn't want your first born to rent the jetskis

I don't like going to Harrah's the machines are so tight on a scale of 1to 10 I would give Harrah's a 2 every time I talk to people they say the thing the machines are to tight

really bad costumer service, nasty rooms don't stay in this hotel!!!! I made the reservation 3 weeks ago and when I check in they don't have the room I requested.

Had a great time here. Our ruin was dirty and we got upgraded with a discount. Highly recommend this place.

Was a bit crowded but had a blast already making plans for next trip !!!

Room was absolutely great , modern , clean and the bed was very comfortable . It was very pleasant inside although the temperature outside was over 110 degrees . The staff were friendly and every person I met treated me with respect and were very friendly .

A bit outdated in the rooms. South tower going through refurbish in 2018 so try to get a room there if possible. The non smoking casino is nice but no table action while we were there. Mostly older crowd. Too many small dogs allowed in the place and owners that don't pick up after them. I guess if your occupancy is low you'll let anyone in dogs in sweaters or not.... The buffet is worth a stop. Good selection of dishes and desserts. Show your rewards card to save a couple of bucks. Food quality is average as there is an overabundance of blandness as you might expect from a buffet. The beach is great and probably the nicest part and biggest reason to stay at Harrah's.

Staff seem very indifferent about your needs. Rooms are some of the most bare I've ever seen in a hotel. There's literally a bed and table. Nothing else

It is more upscale than the other places in laughlin. Friendly staff and lots of people. The design of the area has a lot of stairs to efficiently get around. Cigarette smoke was just about everywhere.

The remodeled rooms were nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable.

Friday seafood buffet was awesome lot of choices fresh food

A little crowded and smoky, but an overall nice Harrah's property.

Refused to give me a standard room because I have a service animal. I am epileptic and require a seizure alert dog. When the guy at the counter saw me and my dog he told me they had no pet rooms available. I explained that my dog (who was in her service vest) was not a pet but a medically necessary companion and that I could provide paperwork for him from my doctor. He just walked off and came back with a list of pet friendly hotels and told me he couldn't help me. This is discrimination. I used to work for the Harrah's chain in Northern Nevada and I can say that I don't believe that this is company policy, at all. I think it is just this one establishment or potentially that one employee but I do believe he went to ask his manager if he could book us a room and they said no. It's important to note that this was a stop on a very long road trip after 10 hours of driving. I arrived at 1:30am and would only be in the room for a few hours to sleep and then continue on (check out being in a few hours and I indicated it was only one night). I'm extremely disappointed in the behavior and treatment of my service animal and myself. I hope that they are able to properly educate their staff on the legality of denying service to the disabled.

It is very big but there are few desks so I can't answer the phone. The desk has to go past the casino, so it's too far to apply.

Casino is a little bit dated, like many in Laughlin, but the staff was friendly, the accommodations were nice, and we had a great time.

What a great place and even better location, Laughlin is like a mini - micro Las Vegas that is stuck back in the sixties, I mean this is every way in the best sense. Less Traffic, Slower Pace, yet all the modern requirements. Harrah's Laughlin is a much nicer, cosier place to stay then it's big brother in Vegas. We only stayed for 3 nights, but would highly recommend.

Really enjoy this casino and am torn between them and Aquarius. I worked for the construction company that did the remodel woodwork in the Range, Buffet and what was then Baja Blue now El Borracho, so I get nostalgic everytime I'm walking through. All that custom plexiglass with the hardwood frames. That was a fun job.

Resort fee here of $13.50 Daily....WHY this place needs a serious remodeling.

The room is clean and everyone is very nice. We prefer the non-smoking casino area, since the main casino sometimes smells a little smokey. The ventilation system does a good job on the visible smoke, but the smell lingers. The food is good but there are no good options for inexpensive snacks and light meals.

Didn't work there long lot of racist staff weren't very nice supervisor Lily was one not very nice to new hires did not go back because of her. I Quit. Will be filing a complaint for discrimination, racism.

Everything was perfect. Friendly staff great food Pets are welcome. I highly recommend a stay at Harrahas

We were lied to about our reservations and the staff at might and mid day were rude when confronted about the issue

Rooms are good for the price and front desk went over and beyond to help accommodate us with our handicapped needs.

We enjoyed the Casino's and even more the Buffets...

Very bad. Room had an odor. Buffet food was cold and only one cooking station working even prime rib was cold.. charged the deposit twice and couldn't return one. Would not recommend. Also put us in the tower where they put 11 tour buses. They were oriental and e extremely rude. When I mentioned it to management I was told they could do nothing and they did not even apologize.

The staff are wonderful! Everyone is polite and friendly. Facility is clean and beat, needs address comfy. All around great experience

The hotel is okay but not up to the standard usually associated with Harrahs. The steakhouse is superb. I am not so thrilled with the beds and the hotel needs updating but if you have a family or are on spring break and are not into comfort this hotel would be great. The hallway of the tower room we stayed in had a bad odor. The adult only tower is the way to go if you don't want children running up and down the halls. They have a beach access to the river. I believe the rates are comparable to the other hotels in Laughlin. The sports book closes early and the buffet is average. There is construction going on in the food court and arcade areas so maybe they are updating the entire hotel.

Absolutely terrible hotel accommodations! We were stuck in hotel #3 which is as far as you can get from the restaurants, pool, and casino. Only 2 of 6 elevators were working so a long wait to even get up to our floor. During this everyone was sweating as it was very Hot! Upon getting to our room "near the end of the hall".we we're greeted by a Dark room as the light switch by the door did not work. After finally getting a light on, we saw that the room had hardly any furniture in it, only one beat up looking wooden desk chair (for 2 guests). Further inspection found that the tub/shower was dirty with "pubic hair" in it. That was the last straw! I have seen better rooms at Motel 6. They finally moved us to another room which was slightly better but still had old beat up furniture. Don't stay here.

The hotel and restaurants are overpriced. The place is infested with bed bugs. The rooms were dirty and run down. The machines don't hit at all. Extremely disappointed.

Kind of old and run down.. machines are very tight..parking structure is kind of far you have to park and walk across parking lot I 112 degree heat.

Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. The regular sit down casual dining by the main entrance has some good values and the food and wait staff were better than usual for a crowded casino.

The price of the room was not too bad but the food and other items seemed expensive

I was promised a deluxe room in the Central Tower. We check in, go up to the room. The beds were not queens as promised they were full's. I called to the front desk and they said we can put you in the North Tower(which was a downgrade). We get to that room and it's the same as the other one. We were there for our anniversary, my husband and I had to sleep in separate beds due to the beds being so small.. The rooms dont come with safes or coffee makers. Our hairdryer sparked when we turned it on. The lady at the oxygen bar was very rude to my husband. One of the elevators stopped between floors 15 &16. Then later on that same elevator was leaking hydraulic fluid through the roof. It was never put out of order. The only good thing about this place was the beach.Will never stay there again.
