The hotel itself the lobby, the staff, the pools the beach all great. The rooms not suoer clean even after maid service. Elevators old, creaky and scary. Our room. The refrigerator was on the floor. No dresser or table for it. So thats is why my score not a 4 or 5

We took our daughter to Harrahs Laughlin as part of her honeymoon trip to the USA from England. We have been regulars for a long, long time, and although we had noticed standards falling quite dramatically.....we still felt sure they would enjoy their stay. Day 2 they returned to their room to find their tablet had been dropped and the glass was cracked. It was noticed as soon as they walked in to the room because its location had been changed.
A dozen or so phone calls - yes that's right one dozen - and each and every time I managed to speak with someone, it was somebody else's fault/responsibility and they would make sure someone dealt with it.
This happened in September........it is now February ...... and the silence is deafening. I know the hotel must be in trouble because of the standards, but to not even bother with an apology, let alone making it right, is absolutely the worst customer service.
So, although we keep getting what sounds like wonderful freebie offers - we shall not be staying at the Harrah's property in Laughlin every again, and I will be honest if ever asked my opinion of the hotel. Very, very shocked and disappointed.
Rooms were clean, food was good but took too long to get it. Waitresses are far and few between in the casino. Had to wait over 40 minutes in 3 different areas to get a waitress to even come near our machine and i don't see why the 3 that were near wouldn't look or walk in my direction. Some people get hungry later than some so it would have been better experience if the buffet would stay open until at least 10.
Great prices and amenities. Pet fee is a little hard to swallow but not too bad. Room was clean and decent. Pet rooms do have wood floors and they have food bowls and treats for dogs in the room but are charged to your room if you use them.
Went for a concert. Id go again. Nice music venue. Sound could use some improvement, but the place is nice & small. Didnt gamble here this go round. Too smoky and busy with it neing bike week.
These days I can t even travel properly due to the COVID-19 effect. If it s time to enjoy the Colorado River and go golf, it s a more enjoyable course. If you go down to 1-95 while enjoying the surrounding scenery, the road is very comfortable with the 75 mile speed limit. It is a light course that only takes 1 hour 10 Harrahs s Hotel, Aquarius, Tropicana, Colorado Belle River boat, Edgewater, Golden Nugget, etc. Room prices are surprisingly cheap, ranging from $30 to $50 per day. These days, when the lottery ticket is huge, the power goes up to Primmvalley, waiting in line for more than 3 hours, but it only takes less than 5 minutes if you cross the state border Arizona Bridge. It is worth a drive course at least once in the 67F weather
Really nice place. Very respectful employees and you feel welcomed here and your not going to loss without the help of the employees also if your bringing the kids Harrahs has a good arcade. Bonus the beach area is great not that many people also a great pool and if you want some get away time from kids they have a adult pool area I recommend Harrahs for not a super expensive Hotel and Casino.
Favorite place! Take the water taxi and visit the other casinos. This one has their own beach and is just fun and friendly. Have won here too so they re not wound too tight.
The hotel room was a bit dated but clean overall. The smell of cigarettes was very apparent when you get into the room. Be wary of ticks when in the area. I got a tick on my leg but I was not sure if it was from the room or outside.
The last place I stopped when leaving Las Vegas after 13 years, and reminded me why. Thanks to Kevin for a great experience and chat at the bar. Service is strong here, and they work hard to overcome Caesars not giving them a dollar to renovate. Honestly, I'd miss the old style if they did.
Dirty dishes in room, AC doesn't work, 20 minute wait to get on the elevator! Claims you have free WiFi but it's 14.95! The buffet is $20 12 and up. When I bought room says we got a free breakfast, they denied it at the desk. Crunchy sheets, filthy shower...This place is a joke
Another quick but relaxing trip to Harrah's Laughlin. This was the shortest stay ever, only 1 day his trip, bit always stay at Harrah's now! South tower 8th floor seems to be our jam lately, lol. But all of it, from the casino to the private beach. It's nice to be at the end of the strip too, not alot of traffic all night! The staff are friendly, the beds are Uber cozy, and so are the goose feather down pillows! My fav! Oh and dont forget to swing by Smash Burger and Pin Up pizza, yaaaaaas! Thanx again Harrah's for another kick back stay!
it's really fresh in the casino and there's a buffet that has 4 sections to chose to eat mexican,Italian,American, and Chinese food. And the waiters are so nice. =)
1:The elevators work so slow that we waited up to 30 minutes in line just to get up to our room on floor 16. Out of the five elevators it seems that only two worked. When I asked the manager about this he said it was due to the number of people staying at the hotel however Thursday when we arrived and it was not a sold out hotel the elevators were in the same condition. The next day I tried to talk to him again. When I reiterated the elevators were broke his response was that's not what my maintenance said. after going back to my room my daughter's informed me that too elevators were broken with people stuck inside of one. 2: We asked for a roll away bed it wasn't there when we arrived so we called to have it brought in. The guy came to our door to drop off some towels We asked about the bed. He said it should come eventually. We asked if we could have it brought up so we can go downstairs. He stressed out immediately and said I don't have time right now I have to go on my break. walked over to our phone and called his boss to have someone else bring down our bed so he didn't get in trouble. It was the oddest thing. 3: We had what looked like poop on our wall in the bathroom. Our room smelled like cigs in a non smoking. They said housekeeping would fix it. They name came. The button in The elevator had gum on it, next day cleaned but not cleaned well at all. 4: Half of the games in the arcade don't work. I WOULD highly detour families from staying here. There is nothing for kids aside from the crowded kid pool. 5: the housekeepers we hanging out in the room across from us quite often. When we would ask for something they never seemed to have it and told us to call.
Is a good hotel and friendly staff but away from everything, and for a casino, everything closes pretty early, make sure you go to dinner before 8:00 pm or your out of luck and have to eat at the little dinner
Grear price for a great hotel, what I didnt like is that I was asked to bring my passport to buy a glass of wine. Drivers license with visible birth date was not enough.
First of all, Harrah's is taking the spacing of their machines to a new level. At the he bar, they closed 3 machines in between open ones. When we ordered a beer and a drink, bartender said she could only sell ME the drink if I was playing the machine and we told her we just wanted to take the drinks or on the floor, she did sell us those for $15.00!!! For a Miller Lite bottle and a rum and coke!! We left shortly after that! Masks are required inside and outside in all of Laughlin.
Well priced , great front desk service, ample parking. Food selection is a little iffy. If your into healthy probably not for you. They didnt bat an eye at my service dog, which was a refreshing change.
Every thing is actually excellent. Last year we went there to stay the night, the room they gave us was filthy. Left the next morning and got a room at the edgewater. Went back this last week and had an excellent time. Were treated like VIP's. Did not stay for the night. Still gun shy after the last room.
Recently stayed there March 16th-20. Found the hotel very dated, the staff were good, but I was disappointed with the floor drink service. Well I was playing a table game, they would not serve my wife who was standing next too me. With the amount of money I was betting, I thought that rule was not very unprofessional on her part. As a diamond member the service wasn't that good. With this company being as successfully as they are, the Wi-Fi and internet service needs to be updated, worst connection ever experience in today's time. Dial-up would have been better. Now the casino payouts was the worst that I have ever seen. Suggest u gamble in the other Casino's in the area. Also keep a eye on your purse as a lady had her's stolen on the gaming floor. Not much security on the gaming floor. No lounge area to watch some entertainment. Would never stay there again!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty decent stop between Las Vegas and Grand canyon. Not the biggest of casino floors kinda gets pretty crowded. Water taxi takes you to other casinos up and down the river. Kinda cool. Good deli restaurant with friendly staff. Room's a bit outdated but retlevy clean and decent parking. Beach on the river was fun.
Room wasn't bad, I would not stay there again. I bought my room through Hotwire. I went for the Laughlin River Run motorcycle ralley. It really felt like Harra's would nickle and dime you. Charging for wifi access PER DEVICE. Harra's were also charging $75 for "preferred parking". (They basically fenced off the entire HANDICAPPED area and charged for access leaving no handicapped parking at all). The guests were forced to wear a wrist band and would not be allowed to their rooms without it (Even though the so called guard was only there half the time). In the event the wrist band was lost Harra's would to charge you $20 for another paper wrist band. I don't know why Harra's would not be able to just be shown your id and simply give you a new one. I found this very petty, and for that I would not stay at Harrah's in Laughlin again. Poor example of customer service at best.
Room wasn't clean, had someone come and re do it. Air conditioner was blowing warm, they said someone came to fix it, but it didn't seem like it. Workers are really rude.
I recommend the Range Steakhouse for dinner. The best escargot I have had in years! Buttery, garlic morsels on mushroom caps, melted in my mouth! Then, the perfect Caesar. Tasting the delicate anchovies, the egg, the lemon and parmesean! I ordered the delicious filet Mignon, as did my Mother, adding a beautifully rich lobster tail. Even the accompanying vegetables were...
We went to the arcade for the kids to play for a while. It's a decent size with a good variety of games. We also went to the Smash Burger, which was very good. The gift shop was also cool.
Parked in RV area above the casino at its own gas bar/convenience store on West Casino Drive. $7.00 per night numbered/assigned parking spot. Dump and potable water available for $10.00. Free shuttle runs you down to casino in the river valley and back until 7pm.
It was a really nice hotel. It was clean and services are available for all guests. The pools are clean and they really care about their guests. It is a great hotel and was a even better experience.
My ada room had a bathtub instead of an ada shower . I wish that the river shores would be more easy to get to. The slope and loose sands made it difficult to walk to the shores even for more able bodied individuals.
Actually I did not like my stay there, the room was very dirty, dusty, the toilet and the shower very dirty, I remember my stay there some time ago and at that time it was one of the best hotels, but now its quality has dropped a lot
never again will i visit this hotel below is a list of what we went though this week. 1. No bell service asked if we can use a cart and do it ourselves they said no asked for supervisor he said no and offered to refund our deposit 2. no valet service 3. no restaurants open so no place to eat had to go across river to eat 4. no maid service so once you check in thats it on getting your room cleaned or towels didn't notify us of this during check in 5. only 1 bar open and very limited seating around casino to play games sportsbook closed 6. only one waitress for the whole casino so basically no drink service 7. room air conditioner was horrible could not keep room cool 8. room drapes were broken and could not be closed Employees were very rude especially at the check in desk we ended up leaving early went to Edgewater everything open valet bell clean rooms should have never stayed at harrah's and will never again
Came here for river vacation/gambling. The rooms are extremely basic. Not horrible, but not impressive. The ac in the room didnt work very well at all. The casino is split between smoking and non smoking, which some people might like. Only problem is the nonsmoking side rarely has dealers at the tables because the smoking side is so busy. I don't gamble to win, just to have fun. I don't like the minimum bet on all the roulette tables are $5. Went down the street to the Golden nugget and messed around on their dollar table for an hour, broke even and enjoyed myself. Not happy with the fact that Harrah is at the top of the hill, away from the other restaurants/casinos. To go somewhere else, I had to take the car.
