The stay was horrible. I went out there for my wedding and paid $180 per night for a suite and the air didn t work properly, even after maintenance came out to fix the unit. We stayed for 4 days and only 2 elevators were wrong and it was a 30 minute wait to go up to your room. Will never stay again !!

We been coming to this casino for a long time cause it s pet friendly. But this visit wasn t pet friendly at all... .we had gone down to gamble for a few hours of enjoyment and returning to our room we were locked out of the room..apparently someone complained that there was dogs barking so the security knocked at our door, and assumed it was our dogs barking so he decided to locked us out!
another gay couple had the same problem. So we spoke to the manager about it that night and in the following morning. The manager explained we signed a form stating the we have to remain in our hotel room while our dogs are there.I ask the manager so what s the use of your Hotel being pet Friendly if your customers can t come here to enjoy themselves!!! we would have to stay in the rooms with our pets. It doesn t make sense! I told that to the manager Dogs do tend to bark, Well the manager couldn t explain. the response was you signed the form. we decided not to stay another night and we checked out. We won t be returning to this casino again!!
We felt we were targeted cause we re a Latino gay couple, as well as the other gay couple that were locked out of there room.

Laughlin's finest! Would've stayed longer if we could. Staff was so kind and respectful. Restaurants were very good; food was always fresh and delicious and service was always stellar. We especially enjoyed the buffet with it's varied offerings and spacious dining room. Our room in the South Tower was spotlessly clean and large. It's proximity to the casino and dining venues was absolutely perfect. It was too cold for the pool or beach, but others seemed to enjoy the outdoor hot tub. The River is lovely. And, depending on the water level, a water taxi can take you to any of the other hotels/casinos/restaurants up the river. I would not hesitate to recommend Harrah's simply for it's great location, wonderful hospitality and bountiful amenities!

The room is very old, there are no clothes racks in the closet, only two of the interior lights are very dark, there is no coffee machine, boiling pot, bottled water, bath milk, bath slippers, etc., 3 buildings are walking away from the breakfast and dinner within 5 minutes one way through the smoke-filled casino

The hotel stay itself was great and the food options between the different casino's was amazing when utilizing the water taxis. No shuttle to the Las Vegas Airport is ridiculous! Had to find a cab, which was not easy to do which cost $250... very disappointed

If you enjoyed this review please hit the like button. My friend and I travel around southern California and surrounding areas selling steak and seafood off a truck. We usually hot dive bars but just stayed in Harrahs resort Laughlin Nevada.
It was the end of January so the crowd was mostly snowbirds, of peak as this area is the Nevada Riviera a meca of summer fun. My review may be A bit harsh but in Nevada the Name Harrah has always stood for one thing, class; even in the off-season.
The location is picturesque, tucked in a bend on the Colorado River with private riverfront beaches and a boat taxi to ferry you to the other casinos on the river.
The location is the best part of this resort.
The food left a lot to be desired and the prices were ridiculous. I ordered two orders of chicken wings for me and my friend from their beach cafe. Two orders (8 wings each) and a glass of milk came to $33. They were both the most expensive and we both agreed the worst chicken wings either of us have ever had. I informed the manager of this and she acknowledged our complaint but offered nothing by way of recompence. In the morning two cups of Folgers grade coffee were $7.
I would return with my family to enjoy the beach but I would dine elsewhere.

Didnt win much at all, not easy to get a drink that night i went either, but the casino is nice. Its a hell of a walk from the parking structure to the casino and i ran into a raccoon that was not budging from the stairs i was taking down to casino Other then the wildlife and the long walk, the casino is large, has large non smoking room, lots of food areas, a play place for children and a pool. Pretty cool over all, but i wouldnt put much into those machines GOOD LUCK!

Harrah's is by far the best place to stay in Laughlin. Only hotel with a beach on the river. Great buffet (especially seafood night on Fri), excellent coffee shop called Beach Cafe open 24/7, Starbucks, and a steakhouse with nice views of the Colorado River. Rooms are always clean and well kept. We would not stay anywhere else.

The staff is very good and knowledgeable. Several choices to eat at and they are all very good places. Kudos to the housekeeping people that found my charger and made sure I got it back after we checked out.

Overall the hotel condition is not bad. The rooms are clean, too, but there is nothing special around the hotel because it is in the countryside. It 's not too bad to just take a day off. Many use in group sightseeing

Very clean as far as casinos go. Service and staff were polite and friendly. Cost of rooms was affordable. I don't gamble I was here with family and friends. I understand that you can get free drinks if you gamble but, I ended up just buying alcohol and going back to the hotel room instead of paying the sky high prices.

Hotel visited after 4 years.

Hotel visited after 4 years.
It is old and is somewhat poorly cleaned and manages food.
Considering the price, the cost is high ~

Harrahs is the epitome of class and sophistication. Every time I have gone there they are extremely courteous and perform their jobs in a highly professional and friendly manner. I always enjoy the atmosphere and ambience that just imminates from the whole experience. They are in my top 2 on Casino Drive for having all the top notch extras and for the cleanliness and decor that one would expect from a 4 to five star hotel. Thank you for your awesome and consistent service.

This property really doesn't stand up to the Harrah's name. I usually stay at a hotel closer on the main strip, but this room seemed a little more reasonably priced compared to the surrounding hotels. That's the first time I was wrong. They make you pay a resort fee for use of the beach. It was December, definitely no beach use. That made the cost go up higher than other nearby properties. It was not a particularly nice looking casino, and parking was confusing and annoying. The elevator to the parking garage was on its last leg. We had a room with 2 queen beds, that was still dirty. There was dried lettuce on the wall and old food containers. The staff could not have cared less. When I was asked to rate my stay, I told them it would be a 0, and they just thank me for my input. The casino itself was small and smokey. There is one main bar with low muted seating. I know most casinos have a minimum amount of money that needs to be played to receive "comped" drinks. I was playing pretty steadily, but I was informed that I would have to be consistently playing $3.25 a minute. A beer costs $4. We went to get a slice of pizza, only to see the pizza manager have a meltdown and leave. I would definitely not recommend this place as a whole. I will not be staying or playing here again. The whole time I was amazed at horrible customer service. It was almost as if I was on a hidden camera show. Unfortunately I have never heard back from Harrah's, not even an apology. Im not trying to get anything complimentary, because I don't want to go back. Needless to say, we were all extremely disappointed in the entire experience.

For the most part, this is my favorite casino in laughlin. My husband and I frequent this location. My only complaint/ suggestion is they need to hire more cocktail waitresses. The sections per one waitress are enormous, and there is one woman in particular who NEVER greets us. We have to flag her down, only to have her get an attitude with us and then we wait nearly an hour. With the amount of money being spent, that is ridiculous. Step it up Harrah's!

I have stayed here many times over the years and the experience has always been good to excellent, but this most recent visit was anything but. The non-smoking rooms that we requested smell like they were used in the international smoke-a-thon.

We went for the brunch buffet, which we haven't visited in several years. Apparently, they have recently gotten rid of the espresso machine and chocolate fountain, but there was still plenty of good food and drink to be had. For a buffet, the service was also quite good. It was relatively affordable for a buffet in the area, but the location is very out-of-the-way, and you won't be able to walk from any of the other hotels.

First time therewas a problem. I made a reservation months ago for this stay. There was only a smoking room available. The rep advised me to take it and she would make sure I had a non smoking room at time of ck in. I have COPD and the smoke filled smell of the room now has made me sick. At ck in the hotel clerk told me they would have it sprayed. It was not done and it all probability would not have helped. Sorry Harrahs first negative review I have done on you in many years of of being a guest and rewards member

My wife and I are novice gamblers. We know how to play table games but weren't sure about getting properly. Dealers were patient and informative as were the other players. Paid for a low end room and got exactly what we paid for but the room was clean. Toilets are a little shallow. If you have low hanging fruit this can be a problem but overall a good stay.
