Went to gamble and had a great time ...good drink service and great customer service .i recommend harrahs to anyone visiting lake Tahoe
Very expensive really and I was very disappointed. A very nice room for 2 adults and 2 children NO SMOKING area and it turns out that we are arriving and those of us smoking marijuana we left and on the night of return the same could not even put the heater, that was on the 6th floor we complained And they moved us to the 16th floor to a very old room, very ugly for the 545 that I paid for one night? I will not stay at that hotel again.
Very clean, not nearly as many smokers as hard rock so very easy to breathe with a more open and large casino.
Definitely a casino! Room had 2 bathrooms. Loved it.
We went here for my 38th birthday. Planned to stay Friday and Saturday nights but got snowed in. We weren't mad about it though. It was amazing. My husband gave me snow for my birthday! Best gift ever! This was a fun casino and a nice room. We had a great view on the 13th floor. The girl at the front desk was so patient with me after I kept losing room keys and locking us out.
Nice hotel. Lady the the front desk wasnt helpful at all, but her manager was great. The experience was good overall thanks to the manager being so nice, if it hadn't been for her we would have left and gotten a room elsewhere.
Went to gamble. Hosts were friendly. There were a lot of drunk people who had to be escorted out though
Never staying here again after someone breached our room twice.
Great rooms but they charge 13.00 a day to park in a very dark parking lot and dont offer guests a luggage cart to get your luggage to your room or they have valet for 24.00 a day this is not ok if your staying in their hotel also make sure the front desk employee connects your room key to your room or you WILL NOT be able to get out or back in parking lot the parking is ridiculous not only that but the Starbucks in that hotel DOES not honor the Starbucks cards I only found this out after I spent 50 bucks and realized this when I went to reload then I checked my points I was not getting my points but they have the sleeve for your cup that says sign up and earn points plus this Starbucks charges almost 2.00 more for your coffee. Needless to say I was disappointed in the way the new owners have changed this hotel
had a really great experience dining at Friday's Station. Reservation recommended. Server was very attentive. Our meal was prepared well. They even gave us a complimentary dessert since it was our anniversary. They were able to seat is by the window so we could enjoy the sunset. I would go back and order the prime rib again.
Getting old and run down. I miss the one arm bandit machines. Computerized gaming I can do for free at home and not lose any money. They really need to step the casino area up.
Excellent to enjoy the winter many options of food fun and games for children and adults. I was at the casino is a different and challenging experience
It was alright but they ran out of pacman stressballs, which i was using money and saving up tickets for. Thats the only reason i gave 4 stars
In this place Babymetal was presented with Lady Gaga on her third day of touring the United States. August 2014
Went to the top floor buffet and loved it. The view was spectacular and the food was delicious; service was very much on point.
DO NOT STAY. Covid 19 protection policies not taken seriously. People seem to disobey rules meant to protect the public. Management seem very relaxed to the fact there is a global pandemic killing people around the world.
Nice hotel. Missing coffee maker in room. Lots of things to do
Standard casino in Lake Tahoe. The casino is slightly newer than the nearby Harvey's casino. Parking cost $20 to park all day.
Came to work the Tahoe Tattoo Show this year and it was by far my favorite convention I've been to. A lot of that was due to the environment. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable. Everything you could want is either in the building or within walking distance. The mountains are beautiful. And the casino is lively and fun. About a 15 minute walk to the lake. I would definitely love to come back!
The room described in website as luxurious was anything but that! Old well worn furniture, looks had not been maintained in years! Bath tub so slow at draining when i took a quick shower, was up to my ankles in water. Shower curtain dirty. Plaster crumbling by bed and windows. Not even a plastic glass in room. Overall not very clean.
Only restaurant open (all American cafe) always had at least a 40 minute
wait! Sometimes 1.5 hour wait. The food court has a pizza place, Thai food and Fatburger. None had soup. None had breakfast food.
I would never return here or recommend to my friends. Overbooked and understaffed for COVID era.
They will hound you about pulling up your mask WHILE you are smoking. I won't go into how I personally feel about going to this extent to help with the spread of coronavirus, but it made my gambling time really unenjoyable. I gambled for about 3-4 hours and was asked at least 8x to pull up my mask in between drags while smoking. Why even allow smoking? It is way too difficult to keep pulling it up and down 20x when smoking a cigarette. If that's so concerning to them, I'd rather them just ban smoking on the floor. What a nuisance.
I went to Harrah's only for dinner. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food quality was just ok for the price. I think they could use higher quality ingredients and modernize their menu a little. Veggies were not super fresh and over all just a little lacking.
Arcade open till midnite every night. Fun for kids and adults! Whenever I'm in town and my son comes along, the Harrah's Arcade can't be beat. I hadn't been to arcade since around 2012 and sad to see many of the coin dozier machines gone but on the upside thrilled that some of the outdated non-working games replaced. My son hit 1000 ticket jackpot on the wheel spin and added that to his other winnings to get a dartboard among other goodies at the prize counter. They have updated the Skiball games, and video games. $20 gets you about 50 tokens which lasted us sharing them about 1 -1/2 hours but at the end we hurried because we were tired. Great place to take kids for a night out or if u just want to actually win something rather then losing at the adult games.
We didn't get to eat because the Forest Buffet wasn't open for lunch the day we were there. But from past experience it's the best buffet at Tahoe. And Friday's Station is a great restaurant.
Did pretty good here casino wise not very big I like my local casino better
Old and beatup facility but you get what you pay for...
Free parking and a nice buffet. Great for visiting if you're in town for a few days.
Just came to gamble a bit. Drinks were slow and didn't do so well. Average hotel/casino
Great place great food and in a perfect location for night life and day activities
Nice veiw, lots of slot machines ,game tables ,nice rooms, fun people, nice area .
Very nice place and casino at state line in South Lake Tahoe. Lots of gambling, entertainment, bar and restaurants.
Service at casino and service desk is good. Maintence needs to work on air quaility - there must have been an incident at the pool, but the cleaning chemicals were so strong that we could smell intense cleaning products by the elevators and the slot machines next to them (so strong that it was headache inducing and took a few days to clear). Noticed some people had issues with valet, even if those customers were in the wrong, valet needs training on handling customers more professionally - otherwise the valet is good. Free/paid Wifi is spotty - also the paid wifi for the hotel room does not transfer to casino area below - have to keep changing over.
only thing worse than the food was the service! luckily we were out of town visitors so we don't have to worry about ever going there again.
Great buffet a little expensive and the steak house is great too.
Okay as far as casinos, seem outdated. Food court prices were high, $8.00 for a slice (not a whole) pizza and $5.00 for a milkshake...kinda OVER PRICED.
Bar employees are very rude for no reason. I had drink vouchers and he gave me the drink and said "choke on that" I'm still confused
Went to the arcade, lots of fun. None of the change machines worked though, and the skeeball machines were missing a lot of balls
Casino was very nice. Good dealers and a nice getaway from sf
we did not eat at any of the restaurants so can not comment on that, but for $66.00 a night the rooms were great. We have never been in a hotel with two bathrooms and it was great. No waiting for the other person to shower so that you can and having two toilets is a huge plus. Hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful and my wife and myself will certainly be returning.
Nice clean rooms, nice views and endless dining options.
Like almost every Harrah's owned property, this one has inattentive, rude employees. Customer service is not provided and not cared about here. Needs a renovation.
Harrahs has the best arcade. The cigarette smoke is disgusting.
I loved coming to this place until this last time, from the day we arrive to the day we check out we put on the do not disturb light. well the last day we were there we were gone out of our room all day and when we came back the housekeeper came in...yeah they fixed the bed, but they also stole 15 dollars worth of quarters and a 100 dollar bill that was torn in two by accident. Not what I would expect out of Harrahs. they said they took 115 dollars off the bill...but no where on the bill shows that. There are many other places to stay out there....will not be back!!!!
Great size room, the casino wasn't too smokey, and the casino staff were charismatic and fun to be around. Some more easy-to-grab food would have been nice.
Very dated rooms but having two complete bathrooms is nice and the view can't be beat. Servers take fooooooerver to come even with a hefty tip. Also, no coffee pot in rooms ?!?! Just lazy
Really nice casino. So much shopping within walking distance.
I didn't stay there just came through and deposited some money if you know what I mean
Really good place to visit. There is also a play arcade for kids to enjoy.
Great casino. The employees are very interactive and make the time there fun. We had good luck here with a game we had never even heard of.
Owing to a very busy schedule, my girl and I haven't been able to go on a vacation without kids in years. She told me as we were driving home that it was the best vacation we have ever had together, and I think it was because of the phenomenal staff at Harrah's. It was just courtesy and kindness, it was the kind of next level of customer service you dream of but very rarely experience. We cannot wait to go on vacation again!
