The hotel staff is very unprofessional, the had to move rooms 3 times in three nights. The rooms are outdated, dirty and rundown. The first room did not have running water and the toilets constant running. The second room, the toilet overflowed with dirty unsanitary toilet water, so much so that it flooded the room. I had to call 3 times for them to send someone. Items of mine I had to throw away, it was absolutely disgusting, the third room again the toilet did not work properly. Very disappointed In the lack of professionalism, they minimized this experience offering a $200 foot credit after 3 tools that have not been updated in 20 years, cracked Paint, dirty carpet and less than satisfactory plumbing issues. Do not stay on floors 14 or 15 in this hotel. I am a well traveled person and this was by far the worst experience. They made no real attempt to make this right. This is not an exaggeration... terrible experience

First & foremost, Arty's Party is BY FAR the best time you will have on a Fri./Sat. night in Tahoe. Arty plays mostly rap/hip hop dance music. Usually a super fun crowd, very few bad apples.

Harrah's has clean, modern rooms, indoor pool, 3 blocks from Lake Tahoe, very friendly & well-trained staff. Some rooms have incredible views of Heavenly or Lake Tahoe. Loved having 2 bathrooms in our QQ room.

There is an underground tunnel that goes from Harrah's to Harvey's across the street so no need to go outside to casino hop!

Fatburger & Starbucks on site. Yeah, baby!

I absolutely loved it, I won $700 within 5 minutes of playing and the drink ladies were on it! Highly recommend it!

It's not a modern hotel casino. it feels out of date. Carpets/ bathrooms old.

Great sports book! The casino is large and well laid out - only had a few drinks and played some poker. Staff was very nice and bar service was fast. Only drawback was the smell of cigarettes but that comes with the territory.

It's my second home. Where do I start? Fantastic staff. This cannot be overstated. They'll treat you like royalty with a lil grease. See Tim at the California bar, Brock and Tracy at the tables and do yourself a favor.. dine at Friday's Station and order the Snoopy Salad. Amazing!!

I only went for the buffet, but we go to the Sunday brunch buffet every time we're in Tahoe, and it's always great!

We stayed at Marriott down the road and visited this place. We had lunch at the "Italian" restaurant. The salad had so much dressing it was like soup. And the rest of the food was nearly as bad. Unless you have a strong itch to gamble I'd reccomend staying on the California side of the road.

Very busy, large Stateline Resort has much to offer for any age, especially if you like a little gaming action.

They now want you to pay for parking, the price of the buffet was very over priced for what you get. The food quality has gone down hill over the year. I actually prefer the buffet at my local Indian casino. The one exception is the dessert at Harrah's is better.

If you want to have good food in South Lake Tahoe DO NOT go to their Buffet super expensive and food at the gas station taste better. I spent a little under $100 for 4 adults to eat and food was horrible. We will never use their Buffet again!

Their casinos, and mainly their hotels are very good.

Visited the buffet at Harrah lake tahoe. This was my second visit and both times I was disapointed. The prime rib was dry the pasta had no taste. There was barely any room to walk around especially near the carving station. The only saving grace was the pizza. Plus they over charged us $30+, we ended up asking a manager who took care of the over charge.

The buffet. It was godly. I had such an amazing view next to the window where i could see into Nevada and part of the lake. The casino was so so. Lost more than gained but that's usually expected.

Great gaming, affordable rooms and nice dining options

If you're a fan of the corporate titan that is Caesars Entertainment and you like low paying slots, having to hunt down drinks, and in general mediocre (@best) service, you'll love it here . If you're looking for a Vegas-vibe or a good pay out without tons of luck and a substantial investment you won't find it here. But you CAN pay $20 for parking . If you must go, don't miss the 18th floor from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. at their $5.95 breakfast with Mike & Travis (2 best employees @ Harrahs) it's also worth a stop at the California bar, make sure you tip the bar back, Randy .

We got there at 9:00. They should've told us prior to paying that they pull the food at 9:30. Much too expensive to be rushed at a buffet.

Harrah's seemed to have lost it's sparkle. Bathrooms were dirty. Seemed smaller,darker but the employees were all very pleasant

I had the worst Experience here, we chose to stay here when we went on vacation this week and I left my purse inside my hotel room because i didn't need it and when we got back somebody had stolen $1000 i had left in my purse that was INSIDE my room!! I went to tell the people in the front and they just shrugged it off and were not willing to try and figure out what happened. I worked hard to earn that money and nobody else had access to our room when we left. The manager looked at the cameras but just said "oh we cant see who went into your room" and shrugged it off and didn't care. This was my first time to Lake Tahoe and i had been looking forward to it for weeks and it was just the worst experience ever!!!

So much fun! If you get the opportunity to go for 4th of July make sure you do! And order the rooftop access party, you will be glad you did. Great memories are made up there and a perfect atmosphere to celebrate the great USA!

High per day extra resort fee, internet in rooms is expensive.

Uncomfortable beds and extra parking fees. The first night after we checked in brother of us could sleep and woke up with bad backs, the bed was like sleeping on the floor. We went hiking this morning and when we came back we were surprised by signs and people asking for $20 to park which we were never told about. When we booked it said free parking still does. They told us we would be charged $20 ever time we leave and come back. This is just absurd. I called the front desk who told me notifications were sent out and the website just wasn't updated, but I received no notification and was not told at check in. I do not plan on coming back.

Expensive, not updated, they charge for everything. The restaurants are not worth the money, paid $100 out with family for subpar food. They charge $13/day for wifi! No refrigerator in the room I booked (for how much it cost, it should have had a microwave too). The place makes tons of money downstairs at the casino but it feels like they haven't bothered to update anything.

The pros: Clean rooms every day, friendly staff, nice views.

Check out the restraunt on the 18th floor. Get ready to be pampered....

The baller buffet is good. Never actually stayed in their rooms but I've heard their nice. Casino is good too.
