We went to Harveys for their arcade area. We had our kids with us. We all had a blast, is was very clean and well kept, the staff was friendly and they were very loose with the prize tickets.

This review is specifically about the arcade.

Great game selection, many favorites from the 90's and 00's, and a good amount of older machines as well. Most of them were well maintained, but try any controls out before playing; a few joysticks are a pain to handle (I'm looking at you, Star Wars!)

The prizes were okay, but considering how many tickets some of the games were paying out, that's okay! They're just icing on the fun cake, anyway.

I was staying down the street in CA and visited Harrahs for an evening of gaming. I was surprised that it isn't a huge casino. It had the basics, but not a lot of frills. I'd give it one more star if I'd won rather than lost on the slots!

We just went there to hang out at Cabo Waco. There was a pretty good cover band playing, high energy, technically skilled, very fun. The place is very hot though. It's underground so there's no patio to get some air, and the nearest exit is fair distance away. Oh well, still a fun time.

Harrah's has the best rooms out of the four casinos on the stateline. They have recently charged for parking at 8 dollars a day, but it is 5 dollars if you have a player's card. The forest buffet has a nice view. Stay away from the 6 to 5 blackjack tables, go to lakeside inn for blackjack.

The staff was rude when we first checked in and no customer service manners at all. The rooms and hotel could definitely use some updating. The WiFi was really slow or didn t seem to work when I tried it.

Interesting people watching here. The tables and slots were alright but the arcade was awful about half the machines just took our money withkut working. At least at the slots you get to pretend to play before it takes all your money.

They have a tunnel that connects them to Harrahs which is nice.

I was with my mom gambling at Harrah's. The dealer, pit boss, and drink server were awesome! So friendly! And when I stopped in at the Starbucks-- everyone there was so nice and helpful! The valet guy opened the door for me too as I was struggling to open it while pushing my baby stroller. Iwish I was staying there. I def will next time.

I did not stay overnight here but did gamble for a while. One of the major drivers for us to leave Harrah's and gamble at the hard rock was the music. Was continued to hear Disney songs played over and over while gambling. This did not make it a very pleasing atmosphere. I would recommend something that is more upbeat and shared between all ages. Note, this didnt just happened once, it continued on and on.

My first time visiting Tahoe and my boyfriend and I booked one night at Harrah's. I was skeptical after reading the reviews, but opted for the upgraded room.

Check in was good - we were early, so we went down the street and had a beer and burger and they called when the room was available. Our room was very nice, on the 9th floor and newly renovated. Love the two bathrooms, comfortable bed, quiet, and could have lived without the parking lot view, but, that's OK. The price was right.

We had spent two nights in Reno at the Atlantis playing craps and had a great experience. $3 craps minimum! We got to the craps table at Harrah's and it was depressing - heavy smoking locals throwing down $10 minimums. We went to Harvey's and found a $5 minimum table. I threw down $100, they said "it's now $10." I said, "change the signs, and I'll take my money back please." We did not gamble at either property.

The casino is depressing, dated and full of a lot of shifty folks, people who probably don't need to be spending their social security on slot machines (but you see that at all casinos) and miserable casino employees.

We registered my boyfriend for a Total Rewards card and were given no freebies, which is industry standard. We went down to the Lakeside Casino and played instead. Friendly locals, generous staff and $5 tables.

Room service was good - a lovely Cobb salad for me and an omelet for him. However, this morning he woke up with a terrible stomachache and spent the duration of our 3 hour drive home stopping off to use the bathroom. We assume he got a form a food poisoning from the omelet or potatoes that came with it - we both had ate the same thing at lunch and breakfast prior and I was fine.

For a historical property, this place needs an upgrade. It's just as "meh" as the Harrah's in Vegas, except it controls the smoke a bit better than the Vegas one. I don t plan on returning until an overhaul takes place.

Good variety of machines at the casino. Didn't appreciate the fact that the machines don't accept coins though so you can only play by putting paper money in. Also the smell of smoke in the casino was strong which wasn't pleasant.

Other then the smoky feeling with any casino...Harrah's is great. The service when playing tables and slots was quick and friendly. The dealer was willing to explain the rules, I had not played before - but my sister was experienced. We sat together and the dealer was friendly, and educated me on the main game and side game. We went to the buffet and everything was tasty. I did not care for the champagne or desserts - they didn't taste good.
