Worst service. NO parking for guest are you serious. Rooms have stains in them this place is joke. You can stay in Reno for way less and actual have better rooms. Isn t that quite insane. Ohh and actually get parking and service. I pay money just to pay more money to park? This place is a Robbery.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable. However, the room is out dated. The furniture was old and chipped and the carpet has seen much better days.
Tried to play blackjack in this place last Monday. There were only a few tables open, and single blackjack table open had one player. My friend and I were going to sit down on other 2 seats, but they wouldn't allow us to as one seat was being saved IN CASE a handicap person showed up. My next trip there in a few weeks will skip Harrah's and Harvey's. Harvey's had no tables open Monday around noon.
A South Lake staple. For those who love to play, great dealers and floor managers. For those who love to eat, Forest Buffet makes for a fun, affordable AYCE meal with amazing views for the apres-Tahoe day.
Harrah's casino is one of the five in the South Lake Tahoe region and it's the most happening out of the 5. Usually crowded with a wide range of games (Ultimate Texas Holdem, High Flush?, crapless craps, they have many. Limits are relatively higher ($10). Live music, decent buffet upstairs, kid's arcade, etc. It's the best casino in South Lake Tahoe.
My complaint goes for a dealer named Carol. (was there on Monday around 11:30am) She tried everything in her power to make our game at the Roulette Table unpleasant. She started by saying my friend's ID looked phony and wouldn't let her play. It was completely valid. You're a dealer, not a US customs agent. She then told my friend to get her wallet off the table. (which is correct) She then tried to push blame to our friends for one of us losing "oh if she didn't tell you this, you would've won, gee I don't know why she said that" and as I took a quick break and looked around (literally for 10 seconds), she told me "you have to bet at least 1 chip or can't stay" I looked around at the empty seats (it was 11am in the morning) and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Our friends just looked at each other and we were on the same page.
At that point, we cashed out. She said "gee, I didn't mean to stop you guys from playing" in a sarcastic way.
Carol, most of us are there to have a good time whether win or lose. If you don't want to do your job, just do Caesars Entertainment and the patrons a favor and take your negative attitude to Lake Side Inn.
The VIP department staff at Harrahs made my stay wonderful. Shout out to the casino host Rick, he took time out to greet me and welcome me to the casino... Keep up the great work!!!
Today is my brother's one year bachelor party anniversary, and we stated at Harveys. It's great, you get boozed up, gamble, eat, and sleep all in one giant building; perfect for our situation, like an adult daycare, with ashtrays and a buzz all the way through. No sarcasm, fun times. :)
It is Harrah's little cousin across the street. It's quaint and reflects the charm of casinos a few decades ago. Be sure to have an amazing dinner at The Sage Room while you are there!
All the table games have terrible rules like paying 6:5 for blackjacks. Don t bother going unless you re a high roller unless you don t mind having no chance of winning
Didn't spend too much time here in general. Couldn't spend too much time in the casino because of the amount of cigarette smoke. Arcade was a lot of fun
I don't know how else to describe this casino except tired. It's a bit shabby around the edges, just about everywhere. We went to the buffet, the arcade, and the floor for some 21 and slots action. I don't know about the accommodations, but I would expect them to be as tired as the rest of the facility.
With the size of the place I was surprised I couldn't find a least $5 table running 21, everything seemed to be $10 (which at my poor playing skill means the game is over way too quickly). The hostesses were nice and everyone seemed relaxed and the machines were clean.
We were here off-season (while the winter people are tapering off but before the summer people arrive) so it wasn't really busy.
Went to the forest buffet on Thursday. The food is really disappointing for a casino buffet. The only bright spot was the dessert. There were plenty of seats but the line was still 20 minutes before seating.
Stopped by to use the restroom and play a few games before leaving Tahoe. Self-parking can get pretty full and once you're inside the nearest restroom is a bit of a trek. However, the casino itself is everything you'd expect from a Harrah's.
Free parking and you can take the inner tunnel to Harrah's. The casinos are all pretty similar in Tahoe so you can't go wrong, $10-$15 BJ tables and a couple decent craps tables. The food choices are not that great.
The casino is clean, the machines are fun. The fat burger was disappointment and overpriced. The buffet has a great view and good ambience. Food is disappointing
