We stayed in the older tower. The rooms were dated, but clean so that was great. Unfortunately they took out all mini fridges, microwaved, and fridges! This was a huge inconvenience to us, as we stayed for 5 days and we re not expecting to be unable to keep any food in the room!

The other big inconvenience was that there was an emergency evacuation alarm in the middle of the night when we were there, we understand that accidents happen, but the staff s response to the alarm was unacceptable. Children were crying, guest were very concerned, and there was no one in the halls or bottom of the stairs to tell us that it was a false alarm. We were just left at the bottom of the stairs wondering if we were safe. Then when we talked to security they responded as if it was no big deal, even though there was families evacuated from there rooms, they also just allowed guest that seems intoxicated to let everyone else know that it was a false alarm instead of alerting guest themselves or getting other hotel staff to do so.
Then when checking out and speaking to the front desk receptionist, Lilly, about the inconvenience she was not sincere about what happened at all and said that corporate was doing absolutely nothing to compensate for the inconvenience. Not even comping the fees for that night. Between the receptionist and corporates response to unnecessary alarms and her lacking any hospitality skills, (she didn t even say thank you for staying, or thank you for understanding that accidents happen) we left very in pleased and let down with Harvey s.

Good hotel. Stayed here because the Marine Ball was being held here. They didn't have the room my boyfriend requested so they upgraded us to a Queen size bedroom with a gorgeous lake view. We stayed on the very top floor. They are slowly remodeling the rooms. We stayed in a nonremodeled room so furniture and bathroom are outdated. Boyfriend asked if I wanted a remodeled room and I said no. They're remodeling from the bottom up and last time we agreed, I lost my lake view. Beds are old. You can feel where people slept the most as it inverts inward. Pillows are comfy. I am also not a picky person with beds and can sleep almost anywhere. Guest services was good and room service too. We used the gym. Surprisingly, there was a decent amount of people using the gym. There was even a family swimming in the pool even though it was a bit chilly out. I would stay again because if the gorgeous lake view.

Parking is a complete ripoff scam. Do not go to this casino. Go to hard rock. Got charged for $10 for going 12 minutes over the free hour.

I guarantee they will lose business because of this. Our household Gamble's a lot but will not at Harvey's any more

Good. But no ice & no fridge cuz of co-vid, ask ahead of time. Hot tub the best!
Was nice that "resort fees" was fee for pool & parking. Middle of lots of shopping& eating. Parking is difficult& expensive in area. So it was nice I did not have to worry bout it.
Plus pool was warm & hot-tub HOT!

Terrible two night stay. Filthy carpeting old worn out furniture and I'm sure the blood on the curtains in room 1443 is human. The worst part was having to schlep our own bags down the longest hallway in the world because they wouldn't let us use a cart. The only positive would be they had good water pressure. Disappointed and we will not be back.

The room was *fine* and it was cheap. But we had to pay an extra $25 a day for a resort fee. And the most annoying thing is that they took the mini fridge and microwave out of our room because of the pandemic. I m pretty sure the bed is more likely to spread Covid than a mini fridge, but okay. Our experience wasn t the worst, but we won t stay here next time we re in the area.

Dad.
He spends thousands of dollars here and didn t deserve this treatment at all. Stephen and kaelin were the two guy names working. They both gave us the worst customer service we ever received at any casino.

Getting a little long in the tooth but still nice for the price... Great view. Charging for parking AND a resort fee should be illegal though. Can't believe they get away with that. They lost a star for that

we got a room right next to the elivator. when we complained they were awesome about it and gave us another room. great location, close to heavenly and the village. good vibes at night. will be staying here again for sure!

This was our second time to stay here, and we won t be staying here again. We were put on a floor with dogs in every room. The walls were paper thin so the dogs barked anytime anyone walked by. Our last night we walked up on an altercation involving guests and hotel management that was loud and disruptive. The altercation was due to dogs. It would have been nice to put us on a floor that didn t have dogs in every room.

Wow, for starters, our toilet was backed up immediately when flushed with just liquids, apparently they need new vacuums too, specks of filth in the carpet and also crumbs on the dresser. Then the closet door was off the tracks, way to maintain your rooms.

I was offered a rate and accepted it only to receive a confirmation email after we got off of the phone with a quote $150 more than I agreed to. I like going to this casino and we visit annually, but this is a pretty poor experience. I called back today and they said there was nothing they can do.

Booked a room at Harvey's 8/7/18. At check-in I was surprised that in addition to an almost $30 resort fee, there is now a parking fee that started within the last 2-weeks. When I arrived to the room it was literally the size of a closet, comforter had sticky and yellow stuff on it. When I called the front desk they were rude and cleaning lady was accusatory. She said that I put something on the comforter which was false. Later in the evening I called the front desk to ask about an advertised late night meal. Guy at the desk that answered was extremely rude and said that I was not reading correctly. I took a picture and went to the front desk. I did not get an apology and I was correct. For a room, resort fee, and parking fee you would think the room would be clean and service better.

Don't waste your time until democrat politicians allow you to travel without putting a mask on your face. No room service. No coffee or even water glasses in the room. This is ridiculous. They gave me a room by the elevator. It sounded like jets taking off on the roof. I asked for a new room and eventually got a better room. This is an older property and soundproofing is not particularly good.

Room was clean and tidy. Temp in room when we arrived was 65, a nice change from other hotels where the thermostat is set to 70 or higher. Housekeeping came late morning to clean and restock towels.

Toilet is separate from tub/shower, which is awesome if you have children or are staying with relatives. There is a vanity outside of the toilet closet. No need to use main bathroom to wash hands, brush teeth, etc. The closet and safe are also located in the same area. Hair dryer and iron are inside of the closet, as well as extra bedding.

Main bathroom has tub separate from shower, another awesome feature. A light switch turns on a warming light overhead, just outside of the shower. Another switch turns on the light inside the shower as well as the vent. Standard complimentary toiletries on the sink counter along with towels.

Bed is comfortable but the pillows weren't. The view was amazing. Mini fridge hidden in entertainment center. No coffee maker in our room which was okay.

Room service hours are extremely brief: 6am to 11am. Menu consists of mostly breakfast items and alcohol.

No fee for self-parking, and the walk from the garage to the hotel/casino is short. The hotel offers kiosk check-in/check-out. It dispenses directions to elevators for your room, and key cards. Neat and perfect for people not wanting to interact with the front desk for whatever reason. If you need help with the kiosk, ask although an employee should point it out to you on arrival.

It's a casino and hotel. It's also So. Lake Tahoe. If you want peace and quiet, you might try a cabin. Hotel neighbors can be loud in the early hours of the morning if they've had one too many. Walls, ceiling, and door are thin. If you can hear your neighbors, they can probably hear you.

Haven't had a bad experience yet here. Hope I never do.

To start off, I booked this room because it was a "4 star" hotel and it was our anniversary and my husband's birthday. We work all the time and really needed a nice vacation. When we arrived the place was a ghost town. We asked if we could be upgraded and we were told it would additionally cost us more than the amount we paid each night. When we got to the room it was dirty and old. The shower plug was full so it backed up during showers. It was barely worth 2 stars. We were there at such a slow time that they close the restaurants because it is dead...but they could not upgrade us. I would rather stay in a motel 6. It would be cleaner.

Great rooms. I had a smoking room. Thought they made a mistake and put me in a nonsmoking room. There was absolutely no smell or hint of it being a smoking room. Wasn't till the next day that I discovered there were actually ash trays in the room. Had a pleasant VIP stay with concert and top notch free drinks, food and service at the concert.

Cool Caesar's property in Stateline, Nevada. Right across the street from a free shuttle that takes you to the California side of Heavenly so you can avoid the potentially long lines at the gondola.

Very nice room on 16th floor. Beautiful , large bathroom. Very accommodating front desk, esp joe a. - a real professional. The rudest Starbucks help I ever experienced in all my journeys, the male was worst then the female . I realize it was very early morning on a tuesday, but it was more than apparent that these two absolutely hated their jobs, should not be working with the public as it could taint Harvey's.

I heard they spent a lot of money updating resort. I did not see evidence of that. It felt like I walked back into the 60's. My room was terrible. I expected to have a USB plug outlet by my bed as the Resort said 5 stars. My room had to be 40 years old an looked it. The Casino is like any other, the mask rules are crazy, cant drink at the table. I would not go back to stay here, even if it was free. I usually never give a harsh review but their ad was very deceiving and I wasted 5 days there.

It s only my first day here and I am already disappointed with this hotel. It is old and needs some serious renovations. My room, while spacious, is so outdated. There are no convenient outlets anywhere! Not by the bed stands, not on the office table.. nothing. How are people supposed to charge their phones, laptops, tablets? The rugs looks so old and dirty. Everything in the room needs to be replaced. Room aside, what has been very annoying is attempting to connect to the Wifi. I accepted the standard internet speed that cams with the room but when I noticed that it was ridiculously slow I wanted to upgrade to the faster rate. More than an hour later on the phone with IT, who told me it was resolved and that my devices had been upgraded to the faster connection, I am STILL encountering issues. I m here for a conference and am trying to work but it s been impossible to do anything with this internet, not to mention all the time I wasted trying to even get it upgraded (it shouldn t be such a difficult process!).

The only complimentary thing I d like to mention is the staff I ve encountered: everyone, from the front desk to conocierage to housekeeping has been very friendly and attentive. Your staff is not the issue, Harveys. Everything else is.

The price of the room was too high for what you get after the hotel fee and $10. To self park. Staff was friendly but at checkout they game us 2 dollars off for comps, no wonder I usually stay at MGM properties.the room was very nice but not for the price.

Went in here on our visit to lake tahoe. The casino is super run down and did not look very impressive we went to the kids area which had a very similar story. Had similar thoughts about the casino opposite the street perhaps the best one I liked in the area was a low key place called lakeside casino.

Rooms were clean, service was great and when I asked question about things to do around tahoe like fishing, good restaurants, site seeing they gave me clear instruction on how to get to places and recommendations were incredible.

We were trying to get home and ended up having to stop at Tahoe since the roads were closed. Harvey's was the cheapest hotel that was available and we were able to get in without any problems. I just wish wifi was included.

A very fine hotel and casino. Several good restaurants and good service. Gaming was decent, took a while to wipe me out. Small change, so I didn't lose too much. Smelled reasonable for casino smoke smell. Many air exchanges per hour, wear long sleeves for warmth.
