The food was excellent and the buffet was delicious. The staff was always on top of everything and they gave more than expected. The cooks were very genorous in the servings and the food was hot. Couldnt have asked for a better experience at a buffet.
Harrahs North Kansas City employees make you feel so welcome.
It was a clean room, the food was good and the people friendly.
Great pricing, impressive features for price range level, my personal best luck casino in KC area, beyond impressive cleanliness
Payoffs are lousy and not well staffed... The cs was horr2
We got a standard room with a king size bed. The bed was decent, I've had better, but it wasnt bad. The room had a fridge and the bathroom was really nice. All the staff we came across was very polite.
Walking up to check-in, 4 people avoided eye contact. First contact had a tag with Manager on it. Usual greeting without sincerity. Asked room preference, I asked for view upper. Joked about old government rate days overlooking roofs and HVAC ugliness. Get to 3rd floor room, ugly view of parking garage, parking lot and railroad yard junk. Paid $50 too much for the organized event price of $129 over every web lister showing $79. Room amenities comparable to America's Best Value Inn. Clean floor but burns around the sink. Bathtub was comfortable. Big bath towels were good. Bed was comfortable. Not too much light but a white strobe periodically flashing triggered migraine. Coffee maker was efficient and tasty although the powdered creamer clumped and curdled weirdly. Asked helpful maid for extra condiment packages. Took 3 to color and sweeten coffee. The event venue customary though they ran out of hot appetizers, finger sandwiches, cookies and brownies before the first pass through. Lag time in refilling. Fishy blue crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms were really heavy fishy flavor, needed cream cheese balance and I got more than one unpleasant cartilage bite. Ungraceful disposal pulling out of mouth in front of people. The roast beef on sandwiches was flavorless. How many cheap tuna salad filler finger sandwiches. Cheap. Paid too much and got too little.
This is where my mom would go to the casino. I follow in her foot steps
Shut down the pool to appease the snobbish heavy rollers.
Fun casino with plenty of slot and table game options.
My first time going there, and although I didnt win anything lol I still had a great time! Thanks to the friend who dragged me out my house and let me lose his $$$
They hosted the Grand Marshall's Ball what a great night.
Was on casino floor. Clean, stocked drink stations, friendly staff.
We went for dinner, drinks, and gambling for a birthday. We had the buffet, just o.k. for $40 a person. Drinks and gambling are always a great time. We've stayed the night before and been happy with the accommodations. Even though it's a drive for us coming from South KC, better than any casino in the area.
We attended the rock before Halloween concert at the Voodoo Lounge. The venue was beautiful and a great place for a concert.
Smells like smoke inside, nice hotel though and inside building all around. Very friendly people working there
We went to the casino had a blast! It was St Patricks Day and pretty packed but lots of fun still!
Always a fun time. Good drinks from the casino bar, and Finn at the Video Poker. Favorite casino to go to in KC.
We went to meet some friends at voodoo lounge. They have very few tables near the bar (all taken) and the cocktail tables (all empty) require a ridiculous bottle service of $600. We payed $10 to get in, were there for less than five minutes, and left. AND they wouldn't refund the cover. We won't be back.
Love this place! Relatives from Florida stayed here. We had a nice time!
Not a casino regular, but the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Hotel was nice and restaurants reasonably priced.
Room was very nice and was clean. Towels were big not those teeny tiny towels at most hotels. Ate at the Winning Streak, food was good, servers were friendly.
We came in Christmas day with all the family and when we got there there was all $10 Blackjack tables, except one $5 table. We sat down and resprctfully waited for the shoe to be finished. They changed the table while we were sitting there. I don't think it was going to break the casino to keep one table open or grandfather in the people who were sitting there. The food was good but took forever even though the restaurant wasn't that busy.
Clean and all the employees here are friendly and helpful!!
Fun for the adult atmosphere whether you are looking for a place to watch a game or perhaps a fine steak or to some fine asain cuisine they got it not to mention a rather nice buffet but if your not there for the food of course they have the best tables in town and plenty of slots to pick from as well as hosting many musicians an musical shows they have a wonderfull hotel to bout
We ate at the Winning Edge-good burger and loaded nachos.
Fun atmosphere, nice hotel rooms but the parking lot and garage are usua)ly littered with trash. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rewards center closes early and late night food is very limited. The rewards program is getting pretty lame considering that as soon as I took the survey ....voting for Best features of each caaino & graduated to platinum tier status......I never get any free play or hotel rooms anymore ....what's up with THAT ?
Everyone was as nice as could be. Wasn't disappointed by any means, just not overwhelmed by service or amenities. Slow night. No entertainment in lounge. Spent my $200 and left with nothing but a few memories of my daughter's 21st birthday.
Had a great stay at the hotel. Didnt fare so well on the slots but great night out nonetheless.
The cigarette smoke was an issue but the drinks were wonderful.
Stayed in Las Vegas tower, room was nice and hotel is great. Like the eateries.
It will take your money if you are a gambler, but awesome hotel rooms if you get the last Vegas tower..
Great experience! I took 6 other people to the buffet. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised!
For 2 weeks I've been reading horrible reviews on Yelp about the tasteless food and bad atmosphere! I told my group to bring their own spices. Well, it was such an impromptu decision to go on the Friday night that we did go, nobody had any spices with them!
Know what, YOU DON'T NEED TO DO THAT!
EVERYTHING was seasoned to the T! I had shrimp (fried, boiled, scampi), oysters on the half shell, T-Bone steak, homemade mashed potatoes, buttery corn on the cob, green beans, mixed greens, muscles, uh, I tasted a lot of food AND I paid like $9.75 for bottomless margareta's!
My brother is very picky! He was impressed. When you have a good steak, you don't need steak sauce! Okay?
Go! You won't be disappointed! Our waitress was impressively attentive!
The salad bar was everything!! It was fresh and the variety was everything you could possibly want! My cousin even got some beat. Ew! LOL!
I'm glad I didn't take the negative reviews here to heart!
Everyone had a wonderful time and we all enjoyed the food, drinks, service and ambiance!
I'll be back!!
Thank you Harrah's Dinner Brunch!!
Upon arrival, front desk personnel was very rude because I was not aware of their COVID-19 policies. Fortunately the checkout staff was a lot more friendly and the smoking rooms were very elegant.
I went to gamble and have fun. Staff were pleasant and attentive. It was an enjoyable evening out.
12 dollars for 1 shot of crown and I lost a lot of money and our company truck was stolen out the parking lot
