Harrah's Casino, North Kansas City, MO Review

Not bad, room is a little run down and the plumbing is wierd with the toilet making all kinds of noises at night.

Couldn't win 4nothing only 1 bathroom open in casino 4 2floors ridiculous

The food is pretty good as well as everything else about it.

Arrived late departed early. Not friendly at all at front desk not well treated as a regular Harrah's customer. Rooms badly in need of upgrades casino dark and dingy will not return

One of my favorite casinos here in Kansas City, Missouri. I did enjoy the new floor plan for the slot machines last time I visited. Staff is always very courtesy on every visit. I dig the players promotion they offer here at the casino. This facility is always very clean! We always have a great time together even though we have never won big on any of the slot machines.

Decided to go to hard as for a change and that was a mistake... started playing slot then my my machine started making it's own bets I called for service it took them forever to get to me and then when they did get to me they basically tryed to say it was my fault cause I set my drink on the game it was a touch screen game but my drink was no where near the touch screen part... they only tried to give me 10 dollars back then I started arguing the fact that it took more then 10 dollars from me and that they should have a sign saying don't set your drink on the machine... point is they where making it hard when they just should of made it wright they wasted my time and that's the last time I'm going to harras going back to amerstar...

Love this place and frequently visit but decided to stay the night was not impressed the room was dirty had someone clothes in the drawer water bottles shoved next to the bed floor was so dirty I would take my shoes off food at the steak house was amazing

Food is terrible. All the restaurants. Nothing is comped. Ever. No drinks no nothing and your room is a mile from the casino. Not impressed

The hotel has a very classy look inside, almost if I'm walking through someone's house of royalty. The rooms are very open and I had a great view of the rest of Kansas City. They have many different types of restaurants and variety of foods. The casino is magnificent theres two levels and do may different types of slots and card games.

When my boyfriend and I first got here we were put in a disgusting room. I stay in about 30 hotels per year and this room was definitely in the top 6 dirtiest. That being said. We went downstairs to ask if we could have a cleaner room. The lady at the counter was very nice and understanding. She made note of the issues and upgraded us to a suite. That room was very clean and way nicer. I don t think what happened to us was normal.

Well they helped someone steal my cellphone and as in helped im mean we found the guy with my phone and they made me watch him walk out the door get in his car and wave as he drove away with it also they harassed me kick me out for trying to bring a ticket to the ticket counter but I was stuck in line and then banned me for cashing out my own ticket just because a friend messaged about a ride as soon as I stuck my money in the machine so I cashed out and went to find my boyfriend to tell him it was time to go and the person that kicked us out was our old neighbor and this long haired lady who doesn't like the way we dress or that we are gay this is a very bad place but if you like Crooks that steal from you and harrasas you just because you didn't feel like dressing up that day by all means come give these thieves all your money that will gladly take everything you have and be rude as heck about it while they are at it.

I'd give it a half star if I could.
My wife and I just stayed there on Sunday the 11th. Do not go there. Will never stay there again. We stayed in the Las Vegas tower, room 470. Wallpaper coming off the walls, mold in the shower, stains next to the light switches
The carpet in the hallway was rippled, huge stains throughout.

We have to say the Buffet is one of the worst buffets we have ever been to. Everything was overcooked, like the corn on the cob and the spaghetti and meatballs were mushy and much of the food didn't look appetizing. I would recommend a complete overhaul of the buffet and retraining of the staff as far as food preparation. The staff that were doing the serving were great, we wouldn't recommend this buffet until some MAJOR changes take place. The casino staff and the casino is nice, lots of machines to choose from.

Has a decent club and great dining places. Good poker room, as well as many other casino games. Hotel is nice but not a lot of rooms.

My daughter and I visited for a slot machine night and we didn't even make it to the casino floor before some unsavory character started trying to pick us up.. we were disgusted, turned back around and left.. we went to have a good time and unwind not to be approached by some idiot.

The staff was great but the overall state of the building and room was very disappointing.the cleaning staff as well as the maintenance staff look as the just go through the motions and not very well done.in entrance way to hotel I counted no less then 10 burned out light bulbs.the room it self was not properly cleaned the window has been ignored for awhile baseboards was dirty and wallpaper was falling off the wall furniture looked as they got it in a garage sale scratched and stained just not a very clean room #202

They have a huge hotel and good variety of games. The casino is nice, but could use a good cleaning.

The machines at the casino are really fair and the restraunt's food was excellent!!! Plan on returning soon.

Pretty average casino. Not bad, but limited on table games, such as no 3:2 payout blackjack tables. Table minimums were pretty low. Dealers were all pretty friendly.

They didn't clean our room the 3days we stayed. No clean towels. So we went and bought clean towels and washclothes.

Enjoyed the crab legs! Don't gamble there or anywhere but we love the crab leg night all you can eat!

It's ok...only 2 tables open on Sunday but the crowd is small so I get it...they have a dry consumer base for the craps tables

Gave my winnings back to the boat, definitely need to pay someone 25% of my profit while gambling to hit cash out button

Unable to retrieve my gifts on last week my sheet set . You guys have moved promotion room so far away. Unfortunately I'm on a cane unable to get down there to that part of the building unable to walk that far. Also I asked one of the host is there any way that one of them would be able to help me to get my sheets said no. So I decided to go ahead and go back out and drive over there. I have all the doors are locked on the outside the weather was extremely cold. Very frustrating consider the people that are I disabled. I have a host that is located in Las Vegas and I'm in Missouri not really sure about that what's the point. Thank you for letting me vent

Clean, lots of sanitizer. Friendly people. Slots were on fire!

Easy access. Small but nice casino. REAL table games. Not cards for craps. REAL DICE! It's not Vegas, but it works in a pinch.

They closed the buffet!! What's this world coming to?

Employees at both the casino and hotel were friendly and helpful.

We live in town and just needed a break away so why not rent a room at Harrahs. Everything was awesome from the food to the staff..love this place.

Nice casino to go to I haven't won a jackpot they are in about 10 years but the food is good

Smaller Casino not a large selection of games really nice hosts and very good buffet.

Never go to Harrahs NKC.
I was having a drink and this lady who passes outs water to me to put my mask on. Im drinking but I shall. I explain i was wearing a defibrillator and i had to hydrate. She TOLD ME I SHOULD NOT BE THERE. How rude was that. I will never return to that place again.

Machines are alright casino is good and all no complaints there , however have had multiple issues with the hotel and staff and front desk employees. Actually two out of the last three multi night stays my boyfriend and I have had major problems with front desk employees, hence the lack of stars.... however don t let our negative experience set the tone for your stay

As far as a casino goes, this left something to be desired. Just go to Vegas.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious and cleaned. Be back again definitely.

some of the older machines had problems/ suddering reels/ speakers blown. when we reported the problems no compensation was offered, as a matter of fact we haven't got regular coupons or comps like we used to. escalator is ALWAYS BROKEN.Ceasars is way too big for the shabby accommodation

Clean with lots of options for food and gambling.
Gorden Ramsey restaurant is overrated and overpriced

went to their Mothers day banquet buffet and it was absolutely more than I expected.

Room could have been cleaner. Stains on walls and hair (not mine) in tub and on wall by tub

Casino was great, food was great, the bed was the worst I have been on in years

Everyone there was so good to us, from the Valet parkers, front desk, restaurant and helper taking our luggage to the room. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, comfortable beds. We had a great time. It was a lot better than Vegas.

U don't win so much but it's a place to relax and kick back

My favorite rewards program of all including all the Vegas companies. As a +40k tier diamond the lounge never lets me down on quality of food. It's the only casino in the area that has Pepsi products, the parking is more convenient, but I wish there was a platinum or diamond and up only lot. Every highway is within just a few miles so there's always a way to avoid traffic which is a huge bonus.

Nice. Too much smoke. Clean. Food was not wonderful. Overall what I expected.
