My review is soley based on their service department. I have never seen such a disorganized unreliable service department. i have had my bike in for repairs since August and it is now October 6th and I was told as of this morning it was getting delivered today(we will see). I have been given three other delivery dates weeks apart 9/20, 9/27, 10/4 and have been following up with Keith twice a week and every time it was a different reason why it wasnt ready. At one point i was told that all the parts were in and just needed to be put on however that was never true because i told them to deliver it as is with the missing aftermarket parts.
Long story short they sre disorganized, unprofessional and dont seem to keep up with commitments made with customers.
If you are looking for service and expect a quick turnaround go elsewhere.

Purchased a left over 2017 SCR 950 from this dealership in April 2019. The sales person I dealt with and the people I dealt with in parts were very professional and accommodating. Unfortunately when it came to finalizing the deal with Sales Manager Jesse Amato the terms of the loan disclosed to me twice in front of myself and a witness he provided were not what the paper work from the finance company came back with. Further complicating the problem was the second time the individual from finance was there who said nothing. I later received the paper work from the finance company with a higher rate, monthly and term I inquired with the individual in finance about this issue when picking up my plates.

At this point I was told that there were two much lower terms that he and the sales manager never disclosed to me and the third terms that came back on the paper work. I asked why the two other terms weren't disclosed and was told " I don't know." When I asked where the fictional loan terms came free he nervously said he didn't know again. I would give this place negative stars if I could. if you're going to buy here you might want to finance else where.

Nice service but as befits a dealer ...... prices are cosmic

Just picked up my Honda CTX700 DCT/ABS! Billy, Lou and Amy are genuinely nice people and make the buying process as painless as possible. No high pressure sales or questionable finance tactics here. I would definitely recommend this dealership if in the market for the brands carried.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued customer. Keith and one of the other guys in the service department worked with me on an ATV issue, answered my questions, and treated me respectfully. Their analysis of my quad was professional and thorough! I was blown away at their professional attitude as compared to another dealership. I spent a few minutes waiting for Billy in sales but he takes the time to speak with customers one-on-one instead of juggling many customers and conversations. I did not purchase anything during this visit but they made me a customer for life! Kudos to the team at Hanover Powersports!

The service department is not very efficient based on my past experiences, you can wait an extremely long time for them to even start to work on a repair ticket.

George was great to work with. I called him the first day that the new 790 Adventure R could be pre-ordered and just a few months later he delivered on the hardest bike to get in the US. Great company to work with and I'm loving my new motorcycle.

This place is awesome. If you want great customer service and people who go the extra mile when you re trying to buy a bike then this is the place. They even stayed after hours to secure my loan and made sure I left with the bike I wanted! 6 star service.

Sales people not too pushy answered any questions I had and made my bike purchase quick

From the minute I reached out to buy a bike these guys were top notch. Lou in sales pointed me in the right direction & ultimately helped me execute a great deal. Johnson helped me get the right parts, got it all quickly installed & delivered to my house. Justin got me set up right & cut me a good deal too. Billy (manager) was completely professional & made sure I was taken care of. These guys are knowledgable & love their jobs & it shows.

I came across it on the Internet and I am very happy I did!We were greeted by Billy and I explained to him that I was looking to buy another bike the problem was it would have to fit on my trailer.He instantly got a tape measure and we began measuring
So on his advice I went for a VSTAR 950.He didn't not have one there but while I was filling out the application he went right to work and found one and he would have it the next day
Sure to his word the bike was there the next day .He even went as far as to drive it on the trailer for me
I can't say enough about this dealership I had such a pleasant experience! Amy helped with all the paper work and financing and is such a pleasure to talk to.Oh and I went out riding and I figured I would stop for gas but to my surprise the gas tank was full.You definitely don't see that no more.This is a wonderful dealership with such a friendly and helpful staff when you go there you will not be disappointed. My son and I have been shopping here for roughly two years. Our experience with the folks in the parts department has been excellent. We frequently work with Johnson whose knowledge, recommendations and professionalism has been outstanding. He is one of those rare individuals who consistently and successfully makes service and customer satisfaction the top priority. Thank you Johnson, my son and I truly appreciate working with you and the other folks in parts.

I've purchased too many dirt bikes, generators, snow throwers, personal watercraft and riding gear to count over the years from the guys at Hanover Power Sports. Their staff is knowledgeable and professionaland their service department is excellent and fair. Most recently they really help me out with an emergency repair on a Honda powered piece of equipment that I use for my construction company that they where not familiar with. This is a complicated construction piece of equiptment that I purchased several years ago out of state. The manufacture does not offer any service locally so when I was having problems with the honda motor on it I called the guys at Hanover power sports. They where able to help me out when others would not and got me up and running in no time at a price that was more than fair. I couldn't recommend them more highly for anything they sell or services they offer!

Get all my parts from them. They are awesome. Johnson is my parts guy and he is always so helpful and knows exactly what I need. Always a great experience unlike other dealerships I go to. East Hanover is definitely my spot they have everything. And if they don't they order it for me right away. Wish every dealership was like east Hanover honda. They make getting parts a good thing.

Parts dept are great. Customer service is excellent and they stock more Honda parts than anyone else around.

These guys are always the best. Good service, smart knowledgeable sales people. I've bought 3 bikes from them and had them all maintained there at one time or another. Always a great experience.

Awesome place and awesome sales staff. From pro riders Johnson and Justin in parts, to Amy upstairs in sales...these guys are top notch. If I had an extra hand I'd give this place three thumbs up!

Worst coustomer service ever. Obnoxious very unhelpful staff.

Hanover Powersports is outstanding! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, and they all really know their stuff. The parts department has everything I need in stock to keep my bike race ready for the local (D6 and ECEA) Harescramble series. Everything from tires, protection and guards, plugs, fluids, levers, tear-offs, and more. Johnson is especially helpful with tricks and tips, and when he's not behind the counter I see him on Sundays at the races too!!

My husband's experience was very disgraceful. Once he got there the Honda sales person was actually busy with another client so my husband waited nd started looking around at their dirt bikes and another Honda sales person actually walked up to my husband and had the nerve to tell him "If you don't have the money to buy it, I suggest you don't touch it". My husband was in complete shock.

My husband has a landscaping business and the reason for his visit here was because he needed to buy some parts to one of his (Honda) mowers. I felt very disrespected and most importantly hurt because I felt it had to do with race. He's Hispanic. I truly believe that if it was a "white client" that Honda sales person would've NEVER have approached "them" like that. I am very disappointed. He's never experienced such treatment at any Honda establishment.

Although their (Honda sales person) behavior did change once the prices kept racking up for the parts my husband needed. It was than that they started treating him like a "valuable costumer". Unless it's necessary, like in my husband's case, I wouldn't recommend any "Latinos" to spend their money here.

Set an appointment to meet and discuss a deal for a motorcycle I saw listed online. Once I came to the shop, not only did I not meet the salesperson I had been talking to, but the bike was sold.. the bike was sold after appointment confirmation.

I would have appreciated an email to save me the 2 hour drive that's all.

I recently purchased a Honda Snowblower from Hanover Powersports. After conducting my internet research, I went to their store at East Hanover. Their Sales Manager Billy was personable and professional throughout the entire process. He took the time to go over the differences and options of a couple of snowblowers to help me in my decision. The person who delivered the blower, I believe his name was Tony took the time answer my questions and demonstrated the inner working of the blower. This place is top notch and would highly recommend them!

There is a large cycle center about 5 minutes from my house on rt23 but I'll gladly drive the 20 minutes back to Hanover Powersports before I ever go back there. I only dealt with the parts counter at Hanover so far but the customer service is 10x what I recieved at the other place.

Called to schedule service for a recall to get fixed at the service dept. Was told lets order the parts 1st and then we can schedule the service. OK..... 3 weeks still waiting for that call. Most likely didn't want to do the job since Yamaha only pays them a fraction of what it would cost a regular off the street repair.

Don't go and respond you are still waiting for the OEM parts they take longer to get. Because #1 you should have called me to update me and #2 I already got the issue fixed at another dealership within a week (I'm not that dumb to call one service center and wait for a return call, I know how you all run your service centers). I could have ordered the parts and had them in my hands in 3 days.

I bought a Jet Ski from them and was just informed that they no longer support or service the Jet Skis that they sold to their customers. Not a great way to build customer loyalty. I've purchased three motorcycles from them as well as tons of motorcycle clothing and equipment. When I asked where they are referring their customers, he suggested a place down the shore. Not a way to treat your loyal customers

Sales is very willing to help and explain any questions you have.

Had a complete service on my 2002 Honda Rubicon for a weekend trip and guess what I
broke down after paying 600.00 for the service. Had to take to another dealer and They never did what I paid for..
After calling them on Monday to explain what happened, they did say that they will fix it.
I said you had your chance. Never again

Awesome place. A very large selection for a smaller store. Knowledgeable salesman. I had Privilege of working with Bryan the salesman and Eric the finance guy. Most painless large purchase Transaction I ever encountered,. I purchased a 2018 KTM 1090 Adventure R. It was a leftover and priced at the cheapest price I could find in NJ. Bryan Was extremely knowledgeable in the KTM adventure as well as motorcycles and riding in general. And he s nice to chat with while your waiting. Eric the finance guy also Knows impressive amount about motorcycles/riding. But his his finance skills are impressive considering what we gave him to work with. He got the loan for us. And was also nice to chat with while waiting for bank approval.
SERVICE-
These guys know the bikes. They finished my oil change tires when they said it would be done.
They explained everything about the bike and answer any questions I had.
And I just feel safer knowing these guys worked on my bike. Very professional vibe through the whole company. They are the only people that will overwork on my bikes. Even though they re 30 miles away. I ll make the trip.

Bought a 2019 honda the employees there were great helpful

I needed a part for my older model HS 828 and the parts department had it. Great place for honda parts

the time that the close is to early on the week days need to fix that. It should be the same time all week not different times like 6:00 then 8:00 the need to make up there mind need to make it longer times!!!

I already purchased 2 motorcycles, leaves blower, generator, weedwaker, snow blower..., an a ton of accessories. Great people, great place. My #1 choice for many years. Are they perfect? No..., like all of us. Thanks guys!

Sorry, no test rides here. Our attendant Greg made the visit made the visit a super fun experience. My nephew and I got matching quality helmets and jackets at a deep discount. Great working with you for our gears!

Stopped in to look a bike thay where very helpful and friendly

Jesse and Steve were nothing more than pleasant gentlemen making my purchasing experience a breeze. I came in and asked for Jesse. He helped me within minutes. Just went straight to the point of which bike I was interested in. He gave me a GREAT deal on a 2020 Yamaha R3. Definitely doesn t try to rob u like most dealerships would. He set all the paperwork up and I dealt with Steve for the financial part. All in all I spent a little less than an hour at the place. I ll definitely be coming back here for service and purchasing parts. Highly recommended.

What made the store great is the people. I moved further away but still service my bike with them. They all desserve 10 stars!

The service agent, Brian is very unprofessional, after spending $200.oo on Auguest31th to cleans the carburetor, drain gas and oil, he claimed my bike need new casket and he will order and call me, I did not hear from him , I called on September 14th and he said the casket is there but the earliest tine for ap-ointment is if October 14th, I decided to pay a visit on September 14th , Keith the service manager asked Brian if casket was ordered, Brian said no. Keith made Brian to order the casket and made an appointment to place the gas casket on September 20th . Two star for professionalism of Keith

Staff are very knowledgeable about all their products. Very helpful and friendly. I bought a motorcycle here and they gave me a great price. Service department is quick and easy.

Do not bring anything you own to this service department. It's been almost a full month since I dropped off my quad for a service and brake job. Apparently, they received the "wrong parts" and could not even have the common courtesy to call me and let me know. I had to make multiple calls and still they have no clue where my parts are. I understand things can go wrong, but have some decency to let your customer know. This is absolutely the worst service department in the industry. I would recommend everyone to stay clear of this place and bring your business elsewhere.

BTW...they charge you for all parts and fluids (yeah...fluids) before you bring anything in for service, who charges for fluids before the service is done? Past reviews state (many 1 star reviews), loyal customers have been charged for services that weren't even completed, please be aware and check everything before leaving this establishment.

Lesson learned!

Purchased two motorcycles and a snowblower from them in a two-year period. The sales department was fine. The service department worst I ve ever dealt with.

I bought my 2020 yz 450f from these guys and they were great. Very responsive. All the sales people knew a lot about bikes and told me exactly how to properly maintenance the bike and it just shows that they care about making customers happy unlike the motorcycle mall who forgot to put coolant in my friends brand new 2020 kx 450f.

Friendly staff. Good deals on new bikes. Good service on current bike. I give it 4.7 stars. (didn't give me the option for partial stars so rounded to 5 stars).

They are cool in this place, the sales guys are really knowledgeable.. If u go for service make sure to make an appointment, they are very busy...

Bought a bike on Thursday the 6th of June . They didn t have the one I wanted so we ended up ordering it. Was told It ll be 4-5 business days. It is now the 13th and still no bike. Other than that the people who work here are a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable of different motorcycles

Took longer than expected but my bike came in and I couldn t be more happier. The employees here are such a delight to deal with. Made the buying/financing process super easy. They definitely earned a lifetime customer by me

Hands down the best place to go if you're thinking of purchasing a new machine. From the moment I submitted an inquiry on an ATV my experience was nothing less than perfect. Dealing with Greg and Steve was an absolute pleasure. Informative, helpful, not pushy and extremely patient . At no point did I feel rushed or pushed into anything. I fully recommend Hanover Powersports and especially Greg and Steve! Great job guys!

Bright motorcycle in for service. Took four months and $1700. Battery never worked, but a charger and it still won t hold a charge. They picked it up and said it needed a new battery and want me to pay for another battery. I think the battery should ve been for free

The service at this place sucks period . Not good at all

Amazing staff! Very patient and listened to my needs instead of pushing something to make a buck. Also, great selection of gear.

Great to deal with. Sorry I didn t start here in quest for my new bike. After getting jerked around by one of the big dealers, I called and spoke with George. Told him what I was looking for. He made me a great offer, and a couple of days later, I was picking up the new bike.

I just walked in and bought a 2018 Yamaha MT-07. They had just received three, one in each color. Process was painless. Worked with Amy on the financing. Worked with Jesse on the sale. They delivered it to me for free. There is an additional show room on the lower floor which I didn t know about. I had previously bought a Honda snow blower from them. They can get really busy with service. Pays to call ahead for service. Delivery guy was a joy to chat with.

Just today purchased a 2018 Honda CB300F for a great deal! The customer service was great!

Ok lemme explain something about this business, I have been to my share of motorcycle dealerships. This place is one of the most friendliest places and super quick to respond to any issues. I dealt with Amy my whole transition in coming from Cross Country powersports who I can tell you will take 9 days to get the bike ready to go. I told her I was coming in a couple days to pick up the bike, BOOM it was ready. Its really far away and wish it was a little closer due to me getting aftermarket parts on it and service. I guess its a small price to pay for picking up a bike at a fast place.

Its not a super big place and very compact, but they have a very very big inventory selection. I purchased the KTM Super Duke 1290 and was super happy with it. I didnt even test ride it as I knew what I wanted to get from the get go. I can tell you that first hand I had a very good experience and in the future will be buying another bike from them. I prefer their speed of setting up a brand new bike vs cc in metuchen. Thanks again amy.

Floored by their honesty and post sale service. Purchased two vehicles from them in the past year at a very fair price. I could not view the oil quality and debris at my first service and the mechanic (Chris) video taped it for me so I could see what it looked liked. Holy smokes, who would do that today! Really I couldn t be happier with the staff - we should make it our priority to keep these qualitative family businesses thriving - forget the large bike malls with their bate and switch BS and lack of product quality this dealership is what motorcycling is all about and should be. Highly Recommended.

I purchased a brand new 2015 Honda Phantom Shadow from this dealership, The customer service is poor, after paying them in full, not even a thank you, when asked about the manual for this bike, I felt like i was hassling them . I will never give them my business again. Motorcycle Mall is the way to go.

I am standing in the middle of the showroom writing this. The salesman cannot be bothered to interrupt their conversation to even look at me, on either floor. I have been looking at bikes for 10 minutes. Cool, I ll find somewhere else to spend money. Great selection of bikes and accessories, but I guess they re not interested in selling me anything.

I want to thank the guys over there (Jesse, George, and Steve) for getting me on my bike. Although there was a bit of communication break down with the holiday weekend we all got on the same page. couldn't be happier with the 600

Been ordering parts for years, great service and great prices. No Issues.

Excellent customer service in parts. Greeted and assisted the minute I walked in (which I don't even expect) and was given accurate answers to questions I had. The only problem I've ever had with this dealership is there's normally about 5 different bikes I drool over and gear and t shirts and exhaust systems etc. If I was rich I could spend about $50,000 in this place in 20 minutes lol
