I can t believe this place. So unprofessional and sneaky with their service charges. I called ahead to schedule an appointment with someone who could check out my car engine to see if there s something wrong with it because I tried to get my state inspection sticker and they said my car won t read the OBD, meaning it s not ready for testing. When I brought it and waited, the lady who works there told me about the service they were charging me for. I said I wasn t there to get a state inspection and there must ve been a miscommunication/misunderstanding with the person who I spoke to over the phone. I said I wasn t going to pay for anything and just wanted them to look at it and they assured me that they would tell me up front if there was something to charge me for. Anyhow, I talked to the manager to tell him my situation because it s complicated. I still had to pay a service charge for them inspecting my car PLUS they charged me a fee for gloves, covers, mat, w/ fluid, towels because of Covid-19. What kind of corporate establishment charges their customer for something that should be covered by them? It seems really ridiculous and unnecessary to charge each customer for doing that. I still have to go back and get my sticker since I paid for the inspection. Oh, and they failed me because of my side view mirror being screwed in since someone hit it off the street. I got that fixed so now I have to pay for the sticker and I hope that will be the end of it! I don t want to pay any more money for something I don t need.

My wife needed a new vehicle, so during our search we checked out the used inventory listed on Hanover Honda's website, and decided to stop by to take a closer look. Doug greeted us shortly after we arrived, and helped us locate the vehicles we were interested in. He seemed pretty knowledgeable about their stock, and made sure my wife and I were aware of the vehicles' many features. Once we decided to move forward with one of the vehicles, Doug got us ready to sit down and do paperwork, but there was a little wait because the lady from that department was busy helping another couple (which I didn't mind much - I think it's good to see they are busy). As we waited, Doug was helping prepare the car (so we could drive it home that evening), but also stopped by periodically to both apologize for the wait and to talk to us for a bit.

Doug even touched up a small chip in the paint I had pointed out to him as we were getting ready to drive off the lot.

All-in-all I was very pleased with our experience with Hanover Honda, and would have no problem recommending the dealer if I know of anyone locally who may be looking for a vehicle.

Right before Thanksgiving I bought a new Honda Civ...

Right before Thanksgiving I bought a new Honda Civic through Hanover Honda. The sales associate was great throughout the buying process but as soon as I had to deal with the finance manager it was horrible. I am a senior citizen about to retire soon and this is probably my last new car purchase. I went into the office alone knowing the price and loan was worked out ahead of time. The finance director offered me GAP coverage. I quickly texted a family member and asked if I should get that. My son assumed it was through the bank I financed the car with and told me it was a good idea. I did this with my other vehicles in the past and it was 200 dollars added to the loan. Not this time. He sold me a 900.00 GAP coverage through Zurich. When I got home my son told me that it was a rip-off. I can get gap coverage through my insurance company for 12 dollars a month. That same night I told my sales associate I was going to terminate the policy. If u cancel the policy in 30 days u get a complete refund. I called 10 times during that week and was sent to voicemail every time. Nobody would call me back. Then the next week I called upset and talked to someone who claimed he was the manager and he would take care of it. 3 weeks later I called Zurich and was told they never got cancellation and policy was still active. I called dealership again very upset. After talking to multiple people I was informed again that they would cancel the policy. This was right before Christmas. Waited another few and called Zurich again. Sure enough the policy was still active the dealership lied to me 3 times now. I expressed my frustration with Zurich and they explained to me that the dealership gets a commission on the GAP coverage and every month that goes by I get less of a refund on the policy. Then they told me all I have to do is fax them a note saying I wished to cancel policy and they would send refund check to my bank for my car loan. I called Honda one last time and talked to yet another manager. He told me all I needed to do was fill out a form and he would take care of it. It took 3 months for them to finally be honest with me. Now I m out hundreds of dollars and feel scammed. If you are a senior citizen or someone who isn t too knowledgeable about the car buying process do not buy a car here. I have bought many cars throughout my life and this was by far the worst experience I ever had. I tell all my friends to go to Westminster Honda these people are nothing but bullies and liars. Very upset

Sales Rep. Tim and Rich (in the office) were great to work with, made buying a new car a fun experience. So happy with our 2019 Passport Elite. Their service center is awesome too! Wouldn't take my Honda anywhere else.

Absolutely the worst service department I have eve...

Absolutely the worst service department I have ever been to! They do not greet you. You will wait 15 to 20 minutes to have a question asked. They will offer to wash your car, but it will often take an hour to do so. I spent over $800 and three visits trying to solve a engine problem, which they could not solve.

Jayna at Hanover Honda has been working with me and was so helpful and kind. She didn't make me feel pressured or uneasy. I know I made the right decision this time. My significant other and I recently started searching for a car, this was our first stop. And it was a horrible experience! We were ignored by some a lady named Jayne, pretty sure she was texting on her phone. She looked directly at us too. The next person we came in contact with did not have on a name tag, but lacked knowledge on the showroom vehicle he was standing next to. Told us he would get someone who knew more facts.... we waited a couple minutes to just remain helpless. Not buying a car from here, but it was a great learning experience. Don t waste energy on This location. Zero stars if possible

Purchased a vehicle at Hanover Honda with a 828 credit score. Didnt think it would be an issue with securing a good rate on a loan. After the Sale it was revealed hanover honda generated 4 hard inquiries on my credit report. Add insult to injury the apr was 4.99.

I loved Hanover Honda! The experience was great and certainly willing to help me out to get the car I wanted! Lucy was very friendly and making sure the process was smooth. She made sure I had the best service. Jill also helped out so much by finding the financial piece and fitting my budget. Overall, the experience was wonderful and thankful for the patience the staff there gave me. I am so happy with my new Jeep!

Wonderful experience @ Apple Honda Hanover. The staff are very friendly & helpful as well. My cousin is the GM & helped us through the buying process etc. As well as his fellow coworkers. We have never bought from a dealership before seeing as how my hubby always buys used vehicles from people online instead. I always get handme down Hondas from my parents so this was a new experience for us. Having this be our first experience in dealing with a dealership & purchasing a used 2020 truck everything went smoothly. I am so thankful & greatful to my cousin & his staff for making this process enjoyable & easy.

went to get my oil changed for a 2019 ridgeline I just bought at hanover honda. apple wont honor the free oil changes with the purchase. in my opinion, honda is honda, and apple should honor the sales agreement from the company they took over. if this is how good faith in business is handled with honda, I will switch to Toyota for my next buy and not work with honda. its not about the cost of the oil change, its about honoring a term of sale on a honda product. apple is using the sale as a defense shield to save money, and will lose customers in the process!

I have a 2006 Civic. It was the first Honda I purchased. I loved the service center at Hanover Honda until today. The paint is peeling on my car. American Honda will give me 25% of the total to repaint my car. Hanover Honda says it will cost $4700 to paint it and I will get $1200 back from American Honda if I use their shop - Auto Body Intensive Care (who I highly recommend! ) However, Hanover Honda didn't know that I contacted the paint shop directly and they quoted $3500 to paint my car. Didn't expect Hanover Honda to try to rip me off. I am still in shock. Now they say the cost is $3500 less 25%. They won't see my car again after I get it painted. And I'll never buy another Honda.

If I could give a zero I would. The salesman was Joseph. He did not try to work with me with trying to get a car and when I did not want to go with the the pricing he got flustered. He did not show or explain a lot of stuff. He needs to learn how to be a better salesman. I do not reccomend going here for a vehicle.

I placed the down payment and they promised me a car that night. 9 days later they refunded me after daily lies about having the car and "just trying to get it to the dealership" as they never found it in the first place.

Original review- Friendly sales associates. Worked through sales process with not too much pressure. Kolton and Eric did a good job. But......

Addendum review- 8 days later after multiple promises and Hanover Honda taking my down payment they could not find my car which they said was arriving day of sale. They claimed they searched PA, OH, MD, NY, VA, NC and CT (maybe missing a state) but could not find it. I was refunded my down payment and went up the road to Apple in York and drove away with my requested car THE NEXT DAY. So, if you do buy a car, don't complete their review before you receive your car as they request you to do.

19 years ago I bought my first brand new car, a Honda Accord V6 EX I couldn't have asked for a better car but it was time to let her go at 279,000 miles. So she was traded for a 2019 Honda CR-V EXL. The CR-V was not my 1st choice, but the HR-V didn't have the technology that I needed or enough power under the hood. I could add the technology, but after up the numbers and less power the CR-V made more sense. So I am not in love with this car yet!! Now for the salesman and manager, they were very nice and did thier best to get me the best deal. If i ever need a 3rd vehicle I'll go back happily!!

Never bringing my car here for inspection again. I d rather pay someone than spend all day at Honda waiting for my free inspection. Waited over an hour and a half before going to seek out my service advisor myself to be told my car failed inspection. 45 minutes later, and am still waiting to get my car back just to bring it back tomorrow morning because they have no loaners and no needed parts until tomorrow. WORST SERVICE EVER. I d give it less than 1 star if I could.

Theresa and all the staff were really great. I came looking for a car and test drove one I liked. Theresa helped me find a similar one in a color I was more interested in owning. They then offered me more than I thought my truck was worth and gave me a fair price on the new ridgeline. I am very pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend Hanover Honda.

Nice selection of cars and colors. May not have exactly what you want in stock, but sales person will work with you if you want a color they don't have in the model you want.

Terry Wolfe was a great sales person to work with. Very easy going, no pressure. Choose what you want and he'll set everything up for you. I selected two Civic's that I was interested in, gave Terry my information to run #'s on monthly payments. Called the next day, went in, choose the exact car I wanted, and 2 hours later I'm driving away with my new Civic.

Loved the Honda Finance terms and interest rate. Couldn't pass that up.

I was hesitant to trade in my 2000 Honda Civic, yes I had it for 13 years and loved it, low mileage on the trade-in, great condition, but my husband and I decided it was time to buy a new car for one of us, so I traded mine in.

I love my new Honda Civic EX..Stereo system, was able to pair up my company cell phone. The backup camera is a great addition to this car.

This is my second experience with Hanover Honda and it was a pleasant one. They did their best to get us a vehicle that fit our needs and fit within our budget. Dave was very helpful and offered to answer any questions about the car even after we left the lot. I recommend Dave and Hanover Honda for a positive car buying experience.

Excellent experience. Salesperson Eric very helpful but not pushy. Eric had my son drive a number of cars and worked with us to purchase a vehicle that met my financial target while giving my son a car that he will enjoy to drive. I would recommend the dealership to my friends and co-workers. Dealership was also recommended to me by one of my employees John Reh who purchased a vehicle a few weeks ago. Again, a very good experience.

Poor customer service. Charged for services did not ask for or approve. Charged for inspection when still under free inspection. Service couldn t find my account even though I bought the vehicle at their location. Did not even wash the car like they used to . Would have never gone with this dealership had I known they were going to be bought out by Apple. Entire experience with their team was terrible. Wish I didn t love the car so much or need it to get to my job because I would give it back. Their financing is ridiculous. If you lease you end up paying for tax, tags & titles when you lease and again when you purchase the vehicle. Highway robbery!

Very professional. Like all dealers they take a VERY long time to complete all the documents, but otherwise perfect. When you are paying via trade and cash, it would seem that you should be able to complete the purchase in less than an hour. Car dealers still take 3-4 hours to complete the task.

I came in twice to look for a used vehicle. I'd had some negative experiences with car salesmen at other dealerships in the past, so I was expecting this would be another frustrating interaction. Terry Wolfe assisted me, and I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful and kind he is! I wasn't quite ready to buy the day of my first visit, and unfortunately, the car I wanted sold before I could get back to it, two days later. I completely understand that this happens. Unfortunately, they didn't quite have anything comparable to what I was looking for, in my price range, otherwise I would've definitely bought from Hanover Honda. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND speaking with Terry Wolfe about your next car purchase. He is very up-front, personable, and he actually LISTENS to what you, as the customer, are looking/not looking for! You won't be disappointed with the level of service you receive!

Just an outstanding purchasing experience at Apple Honda of Hanover. Spencer was the perfect "host," the management staff was transparent and friendly, and the whole process was fast. No stressful or lengthy back-and-forth over price - they came out of the gate with a reasonable deal on my beautiful new 2020 CR-V Hybrid. The atmosphere of the store is fun and friendly. I'm looking forward to having a long relationship with this dealer!

Very satisfied with my purchasing experience! Tim was very low pressure and I feel that I received very reasonable pricing. Ms. Whorl was exceptionally knowledgeable and accommodating working through the commercial portion. My only disappointment is that the dealership ran screws through the bumper cover on a brand new vehicle to allow them to place their Hanover Honda plate on the front of my car.

Service was very good. Scheduling was easy and they were very thorough in their work. Car was worked on within an hour of my phone call. Also they offer a after hours drop off service which is very helpful.
