Hampton Inn & Suites, Dallas/Desoto Review

Room was very clean and very large for what I expected! Would recommend!

Absolute pleasure to stay here. The entire staff was fantastic, the room was very comfortable, and the rates were very decent. Everything was clean, and most importantly, *no* sign of bed bugs.

Excellent customer service! Rooms were clean. Breakfast was great and we loved that the pool stayed open late.

Beautiful hotel.. location not so good. Hard to see not much around at night food wise. I mean main event and some major restaurants are in the next parking lot though. So that's fun. Beds are very comfy.

I had a wonderful stay the staff, miss marvelous monique was the best any person could ask for she went above and beyond and i really appreciate it. The beds were comfortable the room was immaculate, no complaints.

I made reservations by calling the number associated with the hotel. The rep was nice and helpful in making our reservation except one very important information she left out....this property charges $35-50 for early check in. I was furious.we weren't told by the rep nor was this info posted on their website. This was the first time EVER in our years of travel that a hotel wanted to charge for early check in. Well, after all was 'said' and done we were able to check in 1 hour early and not pay the early check in fee. The Hotel manager apologized for the inconvenience for we had been driving for several hours just to make our arrival. I like the Hampton, but in the future I will most definitely ask if there is an early check in fee. If there is, we won't be staying or using that hotel.

Ok so I had my birthday party here. We got about 3 noise complaint calls and once a staff came to the door. Can t be mad bc I know we was loud, I m just glad they were nice and didn t kick us out. Great service.

Some months later my friend had her party here and it was even better. They staff were extremely friendly and nice.
Ex: we were bored around the hotel at like 3 in the morning. They let us go in the ball room and do tiktocs and chill.
Then we were playing hide and seek all over the whole hotel and I couldn t find them so a worker gave me a hint to where they was at and was so cool with us.

Please BEWARE! This hotel discriminates and has had several racism complaints against them. I never cease to be amazed by the ignorant behavior some people have because of the color of someone's skin. But to have such ill behavior towards children is unforgivable. Please spend your money where you are treated with the respect and dignity you deserve.

Good service but the rooms are overpriced. Beware it's not what you think. The pics they have online are old and misleading.

Great location. Best friendly staff. Competitive prices. Only weak point, shower, tub: shower head is not able to stray without wide or pinpoint . No in between. And the tub makes bad popping noise as it wasn't a good fit it install.

From the front desk to housekeeping, the staff is so friendly and attentive! Everything is clean & neat! The breakfast wasn'tas tasty as we wanted. The beds need some attention in comfort.

This is always my go to spot to relax, and have solitude.

House keeping is great and always on point. People at front desk are helpful and very courteous. Breakfasts aren't that good but at least its free.

Front desk personnel always have a great attitude. Always made sure everything was alright in my room. On the first day they even called my room to make sure that if I needed anything I could always reach out and they make sure to take care of me.

I stayed on the first floor. King Size Unit. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay while In town. Nice rooms, and the indoor pool was a great addition. Unfortunately the hot tub was unavailable for maintenance and repair...

Stayed for a week and I was pretty satisfied. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is okay other then the stuff they cook. It s either too hard or cold. The cleanliness of the hotel was good. They are consistent with keeping it maintained. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub also. They have a gym but I did not use that facility. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying for a longer period of time.

Comfortable beds, large room and good breakfast. Specially enjoyed the Mon-Thur 5-7pm wine, beer and chips (some days there were other choices but did not have a chance to taste as people literally hate off the plates in no time which left us scaps... Close to 35E Interstate and a Kroger supermarket but I would not recommend walking there, 3 miles back and forth and it s dangerous.

Had to get a hotel room for a friend and her children due to the storms that came in to Texas in cost power to go out. Pay for the room info sent the receipt over to my friend when she went to check into the hotel of course they ask for a credit card to be kept on file for incidentals. When she went to check out two days later they would not give her a receipt saying it was paid for by a third-party yet two days later she was checking her credit card statement only to find that they charged her $281. Not sure what this was from as she did not have anything worth $281 and the room was fully paid for it was $303. After several calls she was able to get the amount reversed but this should ve never happened. Only can imagine if she never checked her credit card statement they would ve gotten away with $281 additionally for a room that was fully paid for. Feel like this is adding insult to injury. Beware

they are under renovation. the hotel was fine. quiet area,seemed to be kept up nicely. my only complaint was that it was 30 degrees outside and when my wife and I went to take showers (between 6 and 8 pm) the water was barely warm enough to bath in...the water wasn't cold but it was FARRRR AWAY from hot. I will say when I brushed my teeth around 1000pm the sink water was hot. I didnt bother to check the shower at this point because I was already clean....

This place has a very welcoming atmosphere when you walk through the door.
The breakfast area is clean and it presents an Atmosphere of eating at Home, family around the table.
I only visit but have not stayed overnight.

Such a unique hotel and experience at an amazing price!! My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, and are so glad we did!

Rooms are nice and clean, at least the one I am in. I choose a room away from the interstate and could not hear road noise.

Good highway access, just need to get in the right lane very quickly. Hotel was nice and clean, pool was nice, hot tub needed work. Breakfast was better than expected for a hotel. The only issue was the road noise, but that was fixed with the air conditioner eventually. Overall, nice stay.

I love the breakfast and the beds were very comfortable!

We made a last minute reservation late at night and had zero issues getting a wonderful room to comfortablly rest. Patrick at the desk was extremely pleasant. The smoke detector was beeping when we got into our room and Pedro immediately fixed it for us. Thank you!!

The rooms were very clean, the staff was very nice and the breakfast was delicious and thank you Juana and Esperanza you are the best. Thanks Juana and Esperanza for their work the breakfast was perfect. We will definitely come back.

Newly renovated! Still being renovated though. Beds were comfortable and shower and sink fixtures were upgraded to Kohler. Very nice area. Quiet and quick access to commute

We got to the hotel basically unpacked everything and went to turn on the t.v. the remote had a covering over it stated that it was "lysol" clean. I took off thr cover and there was squished food on the remote. This told me a few things. #1 that they don't actually have the rooms "lysol" clean and #2 that during a pandemic they are skimping on cleaning. I was absolutely furious. I took the remote down and the manager came and spoke to me. At first all she said was "wow that's disgusting " and we will get to the bottom of this tomorrow. Gave me a new remote and expected everything to be okay at the point. I then asked her "So if the remote is dirty but says its clean how can you guarantee me our room is clean?" She said we'll I can't. So then she offered me another room, she offered to go wipe everything down before we went in it. (Mind you I also have a very tired one year old) we then switched rooms. Everything in that room was fine. Woke up was leaving and the same Manger just stared at me the entire time I was in the lobby. I honestly don't think she would have done anything if I didn't push for it. It's very sad considering we are Hilton members and she had no interest on doing anything besides give me a clean remote. Any other time sure it would have been fine, but during a pandemic it's just shameful how little they pay attention to cleaning the rooms. This is the first time I have ever wrote a bad review but my suggestion is to find a different hotel that cleans better than this one.

They are the worst when it comes to charging your bank card, they took out an extra $127.00 from account, cause me to be overdrawn!! Never again!!
