Jasmine at the front desk is Awesome! Enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Good price for a room with a Jacuzzi! Clean room. Good, traditional breakfast with a lot of variety.

Nice hotel laundry room available along with a pool and fitness center located close to restaurants a little interstate noise but nothing to worry about I would definatley stay here again or recommend it

the elevators smelled like very strong perfumed cleaner and everyone was very nice but our bed was made incorrectly and pur check in was delayed because of confusion from us using priceline

I went to check in and room was not ready went back in an hour room still not ready was told to wait 40 minutes went back room still not ready. I ask for supervisor and was told by Patricia aka Pat supervisor was unavailable. I told Pat I could no longer wait on the room because I needed to get to work. She gave me a receipt that had $0 charge and she wrote on it room not ready. Three days later my card was charged for room called back and Jamie stated the charge would be taken off. Two days later charge still on card had to call Hilton cooperate office and file claim to get money back. Pat lied and said she told me I couldn't cancel and the GM is the only person that can give refund. So why did you give me a receipt with $0 and wrote room not ready if you could not authorized a refund. The room not being ready due to short staff is my problem? I don't think so!!! Then to flat out lie roll back the cameras!!! Have to go through all this just to get money back and plus she is very RUDE! Some people don't need to be in customer service position.

Rooms are clean. Safe area of town. Friendly staff. Facilities are beginning to show some wear. Breakfast was great.

The service is outstanding and the room's are clean, the grounds are emaculate.

Spacious suites and typically Hampton (clean, comfortable, and well furnished). Desk clerk overcharged for my Suite Shop items and I had to have it corrected at checkout. Shower pressure was wimpy.

Nice, clean, comfortable, and updated. Enjoyed my stay including free breakfast.

Breakfast was good. Only problem was that it was clear that the bathrooms has not been cleaned since there was used soap (including hair) in the shower.

this is one of the better Hampton Inn's that Ive been too in my travels. Alexander and Mike provided great customer service.

MY ROOM WAS GIVEN AWAY! October 26, 2018 l made a reservation at this hotel. I was coming from out of town and l trusted this hotel to stay in. I was going to do a late check-in, therefore l made sure to notify the hotel in writing and over the phone that l was going to arrive late and l was assured that my hotel room was now secured for late check in. I arrived at the hotel only to be told that all rooms were booked, l was sent to another hotel 19 miles away. Do not trust this hotel, specially if you are coming for any event and will do a late check in, your reservation is not secured. Thank you for nothing hampton inn and suites!

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My family and I were asked to vacate the hotel (along with 2 other families at separate times for separate reasons ) at 10:30pm while 2 of my 3 kids were already in bed. I was accused of threatening staff among other things. I did not threaten anyone, unless pointing out someone s inability to to deliver customer service qualifies. Paris and Leann, shame on you for not being able to fulfill your responsibilities as service industry staff, Hampton Inn & Suites DeSoto shame on you for employing people who do not put your customers first, and Hilton you clearly have work to do with staff development.

This was one of the best trips I've had thanks to Alexander Moten and the staff of Hamton In & Suites DeSoto. The customer service that when we walked into this amazing hotel blew our minds! We will not be staying anywhere else when we come down to visit DeSoto. Thanks Alexander and staff for everything.

Was here for a conference. Looks new, everything clean, bathrooms cozy.

I like this hotel they are always so friendly every time I have ever been there there is never a problem. Have a wonderful's pool and sauna indoors and they have a Delicious breakfast for free

Great experience here. Only stayed 1 night but had zero issues. Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and quick to check in.

BED BUGS
I have been staying down here every week for the couple weeks for work.
I woke up in the middle of the night feeling very sick. Little did I know I woke up a few hours later with my body literally covered in bug bites (which look like a terrible rash)
Staff took pictures of my arms legs and neck
And then moved me across the hall like everything would be ok
I missed 2 days of work while down there because I was very sick (not sure if it was the room or just something I came down with)
Each day I would notice more and more nasty little rashes forming and every day I would LITERALLY PICK BED BUGS OFF OF MY CLOTHES.
I did what any normal person would do if they paid to stay here. I told them I was disgusted and prob would not stay here again.
Bed bugs are probably the nastiest things you will ever encounter. And even a week later today I am still covered in scabs from the bites and I literally threw my weeks worth of clothes I brought with me away.( a couple 100$) not to mention they still charged me for my entire stay.

Now I'm not the one to write reviews or anything. But I sent them an email I tried calling to see if there was anything they could do and the lady told me they would call me back later in the day, 3 days ago.
I'm a Hamton rewards member and typically stay only at Hampton. But I can tell you I will NEVER STAY AT HAMPTON DALLAS/DESOTO EVER AGAIN

Very sweet & attentive staff but the shower water was cold asf. Also breakfast was fantastic!!!

Do not plan on staying here for longer than a week. The front desk does not keep quarters for the $2 per use washer and dryer.
They have one laundry room with one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel, which broke on my second week. The maintence tech tried to fix it but he didn't have the key to open it up, so he just pulled on the coin slot like everyone else.

Reserve my room when I arrived was not available, they looked for one and they gave me a small discount. Good hotel but I did not like that my room was not available.

This hotel is located next to the highway which can be good and bad. If you don't mind a little noise it's great. I have no complaints about my stay.

Great staff miguel was very helpful and respectful great employee. Very comfortable beds.

Room was booked last minute and luckily they had room still. Room wasn't the cleanest and you probably will need to bring your own pillow. Interacted with the night staff and she was friendly and kind. I don't ever have a bad stay at one of these hotels though, just maybe a little extra cleaning.

The location was fine for what we needed, but there were some very noisy guest and when we called the front desk for help no one came to help. We've had better experiences elsewhere.

I did not have time to explore the entire hotel as I was there just 7 hours to shower and sleep before going back to the hospital with my father so, I cannot comment on outdoor areas, fitness center, or pool but, from what I saw, the hotel overall was nice. Joe at the front desk checked me in and was very nice and helpful. I was given a 'welcome' pouch of restaurant coupons and kisses, very thoughtful! I did notice a few maintenance items (dirty elevator, broken floor tile) that should be addressed.
My room (a king suite) was very large but the air conditioner was able to cool the entire room very quickly. I was on the 4th floor and heard highway sounds over the running AC ALL NIGHT LONG so, if you want quiet: ask for a room on the lower floors and away from the highway. While showering, I felt like I was going to fall through the floor and the water was either bruising me or barely dripping, there was no happy medium on the water pressure. The bed was an absolute dream, very clean and smelled nice!
Breakfast was as expected of a chain except there was an oatmeal bar; I thought this was very inventive. Checkout was a breeze and overall, it was a decent stay.

I have been here for quite a long time. I love this hotel and the people here are great. I will stay here every chance I get. I want to take a moment and mention all the staff that has made my stay so great:

Very Nice and Clean Hotel, friendly staff, however If you want to rest this is not the place. I ve had the pleasure of staying twice and although it s nice and clean it s not quite or peaceful. The guest are loud, the hallways on the second and third floor smells like marijuana and the kids run up and down the hallway knocking on your door. I was very disappointed. I contacted the first desk only to be told Ma am we can t do anything I m sorry. So my experience was not a pleasant one.

As always I had a great stay here. Staff is outstanding and friendly. Rooms are clean but can get noisy due to I35. Ask for rooms as far away to avoid the noise. Not much around for a dinner so grab something as you get close.

My experience was horrible and a nightmare for my 13yr old and her friends. March 10, 2018 was the 1st day my daughter and her friends experienced racism. This was my 3rd year having my daughter a sleepover at the hotel for her birthday. When I came in the hotel I checked in and let the front desk know that I was doing a party for my daughter and that they would see people coming and going but only 6 people were staying the night as they can only do. Well a hour later we got a noise complaint, well it was only 3 girls in the room who was sitting on the beds on there phone as teenagers do!!! Well come to find out the manager followed all my guest up stairs to see what room they were going to. She then went back down to the front desk and being to say how she was going to evict us in front of other people but she didn t know that my daughters God mother was standing down there waiting to come up while she was talking about us and putting us out. My daughters God mother began to tell her that she was was going to the room and would let us know what was going on. Well the then 5 girls went down to the pool QUIETLY with my daughters step mother only for the manager to keep looking I m at the pool to see what was going on. Maybe 30min later my niece mother called and said that they wouldn t let her come up and that the manager said you can take her up but y all are going to be coming right back down because I m about to call the police and have them escorted out! Mind you nobody was in the room because the girls were down at the pool. I then came down the stairs to ask what the problem was and she stated that she wanted us to leave because we were too loud and I told her that I understood and after the 1st phone call of her saying she got a noise complaint we asked them to CONTINUE being quiet. She then said that wasn t going to work and we needed to leave. I let her know that if I was going to leave I needed a refund. She then stated why would I give y all a refund when you ve made a mess of the room and I asked her to tell me how we ve made a mess of the room and she said she didn t have to explain that and she was calling the police. She then stormed off and slammed the door and proceeded to make the call. I then got my daughter and her friends out the pool QUIETLY, took them up stairs to pack their things QUIETLY. They then came down stairs to wait in the lobby QUIETLY for us to finish gathering the party things. My daughter and her friends watched 4 police cars pull up with 2 officers in each car. They came to the room that was clean and asked us to leave which we were already doing. The police then helped us take our stuff downstairs and I asked 1 officer did it really take all of y all to come put us out the room? He then stated you should have heard how the call came in!!!! I was so disgusted to have been treated like we were unruly animals with no understanding.

Good service from the staff, very friendly and the traditional complimentary hot food of Hampton Inn is very tasty.

3rd Floor Suite Rocked.Room 303
Best place we stayed for business. We stayed in this suite. Was very happy. Great food- they pick out your breakfast from behind counter. So bring a tray down with you from your room. Great people. Took very good care of us. Stayed 4 days CRST TRUCKING -OUR FIRST DAY BUT TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT WAS NOT READY WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE. CRST TOOK CARE OF US, AND PAID FOR ROOM FOR THE ENTIRE STAY. HAPPY WITH CRST. HOTEL HAD GREAT GYM! GREAT POOL. HOT TUB WAS NOT HOT ENOUGH BUMMER. WE WILL BE BACK AND GET OUR FAVORITE ROOM. STAFF WAS TOP KNOTCH ALL OF THEM.
HOUSEKEEPERS WERE FANTASTIC. Cool Motorcycle behind class showcase.

Rooms were nice. The breakfast could use some work. But the overall experience was good.

I'm my short visit the facility had a bustling breakfast crowd and was very well cleaned. The staff member I spoke to was very friendly and helpful as well.

Two bad nights of sleep because of air conditioning in the room. The fan blew non stop so had to turn it off and on throughout the night without cutting off once desired temp was reached. Had to switch rooms the first night. Both rooms had the same issue. Older air conditioner systems. Facility is clean and pool and work out room were nice. Front desk staff helpful. I would never stay at it again.

Hampton Inn DeSoto was overall a nice experience on par with other Hampton Inn hotels. All of the usual amenities are here: free WiFi (fast enough for streaming Netflix), free breakfast, and a 24-hour cash snack shop. I have two complaints with this hotel. First is the sleeping experience. I sleep in a lot of Hampton Inn hotels and the pillows that came on this bed were especially hard and difficult to sleep on - even when compared to other Hampton Inn hotels. Second is the breakfast. The food taste was fine but a lot of the items were not stocked when I arrived at 9:15. One of the best parts of Hampton Inn hotels is that they serve breakfast until 10 which is great for late sleepers. I would expect them to stock breakfast items a bit later than 9:15. Despite these complaints, I would still recommend this hotel for a nice night stay.

The room was okay, it felt a bit outdated and you could see some damage on walls and such. Good enough for a one or two nights stay but that's about it

Among the worst I have stayed at. Construction dust everywhere. Noisy. Shower cracked on the floor I cut my foot on. Was promised 50k points for my troubles- did not deliver on that. Three day stay in hell.
