I have rented from them for over 7 years great team whenever I have an issue they have the handy man call me and take care of it

Thay have no service, bad attitude, they do not care about you.

Beware of Tierney & Company. This company requires an unreasonably large non-negotiable deposit that is outside of normal landlord/tenant law IN ADDITION to a security deposit. The deposit is required to be paid immediately, long before lease signing, and can be forfeited in a variety of circumstances, such as if you decide not to sign their lease. Don't trust anyone with your money unless you have a signed lease!!

Extremely unprofessional. I left work early to meet them for an appointment to see an apartment, since they only have showings at specific times, only to find they were not there. I got no phone call, no email, and they never responded to my emails after that. I'm assuming they had received an application for the rental and decided they didn't need to show it anymore. I would not recommend home owners to this property management company. That rental sat on the market for longer than it should have. I didn't look at it initially because the ad didn't say anything about a garage or washer/dryer, which it did actually have. I'm sure it would have been rented out sooner had they mentioned that, along with being better at showing the home. The receptionist was also very rude when I called to find out why no one was there.

Tierney & Company has consistently exceed my expectations, I speak with a little experience as an old maintenance super at large apartment communities. Value: Yep Rent is high in the Valley, they typically rent units below market and keep them below market rate. I surmise due to it being cheaper too not incur rental loss in turning a vacant unit & it works for me. Maintenance: One call and Gina sends out one of their guys, they always call, make arrangements and actually show up when scheduled. Professionalism: I actually rented a unit gave them a check and then changed my mind. Kevin was great about it, showed me another unit, got me moved in with no fuss. All and all a great experience in my 5 year tenancy, just pay rent, communicate with the office and enjoy life.

I was really happy when I found this duplex six years ago but rent has increase like crazy. I know rents has gone up but we're going to start paying more than a house. No repairs have ever happened from them. I am just sad and mad because there is no rent control and they take advantage of that!!!

We have been renting our studio from Tierney and Company for 4 years now and have had a great experience with them. Decent pricing for the Bay Area and great customer service. Every time we have had an issue or needed maintenance, someone always responded quickly.
