I work for an access control manufacturer that sells through distributors like H.L. Flake and whenever I get a lead in their area H.L. Flake is always my first choice for referral, they are extremely knowledgeable on the security industry and they make sure that their staff is knowledgeable on the devices that they sell as well,

They conduct classes that educate installers on the devices they sell and are always willing to go the extra mile to help their customers and vendors

My favorite wholesaler for a long time now. Top notch customer service and most of my orders are here next day! Makes doing business easy.

I currently have $301 pending on my credit card for an order they didn't ship.

I used to buy equipment from them. They have great prices, great service and great crew! But this is not why I write a review years after I stopped being a locksmith! These people are more than a store, the owner Dan is a wonderful human being, with a huge heart. He helped me and other locksmith in the beginning of their way, gaining absolutely nothing from it! He had no idea that one day I will write this review!
I am so much more than recommending on this business, they deserve many more reviews suck as this one. I would gladly answer any question someone will ask, and I stand by the five stars I have them. Just wished I could give them more!

Customer service is not that great because they don t deal with the general public. Salesman are great and nice, but thats because they re salesman.

If you re a company that uses HL Flake you more than likely spend thousands of dollars a month here and deserve a decent level of customer service. Shouldn t have to wait 30-45 minutes to ask a question about your order at the desk.

Why must this guy sit here for 10 minutes writing in his notebook making sure to keep changing these damn pens and colors like its art class just to give me a damn will call this is ridiculous

Called H.L. Flake few times in the last 3 days and ask for information about engraved residential keys for my company. Each one of the representatives I spoke gave me different information and still no one can give me the correct information, next time you send me survey about your service just save time and mark 0 all over!

Ordered a jig to drill some doors as I needed to install a large quantity of simplex locks. Placed the order & was told we would see it Friday ( 3/31/17) then found out Friday after we had to call to see where it was they had sold it to someone else after we had given our payment!!! What a worthless company!!!

Five stars and it s all about Joe. Joe is without a doubt probably the best salesman of the entire company. Whenever I m in a pickle and I need some help from somebody smarter than me Joe always has an answer. If the man is not in charge of stuff around there he should be.

Im sorry. I used to use hlf for 100% of my supply. Cant rely on them the same these days ...not like i used to..... Not sure what happened. Maybe im just not buying enough.

They brought this Chinese guy "specialist" to give classes, just a waste of time.

Terrible customer service. Trying to order an item for 6 weeks from them, no help no apologies no genuine concern for their customer. Basic phone etiquette like apologizing for inconvenience does not exist.... let alone returning a dropped phone call. Employees don't even know who their managers are or if they are in or are available. I would reconsider using HLFlake even though their prices are reasonable. If they make a mistake on your order or you attempt to order a specialty item good luck. If you want to waste your time and money why not just flush your wallet down the toilet, would be less frustrating!
