We decided to come here cause we saw it wasn't that crowded, and ive been wanting to try it. We we're seated right away. It did take awhile for someone to come and take our drink order. For it not being so busy, we still had to wait awhile for our waitress. I have to say the chips and salsa were really good. Oh my gosh the guacamole was so delicious. I also ordered the tacos which i was disappointed. These tacos were so tiny, it was like one bite and your done. They were good though.

1. Food is delicious but it's not authentic mexican food, so if that's what you're looking for, you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for something that tastes great and will fill you, this place is perfect.
2. It's a tad pricey... $12 alcoholic beverages that don't even provide a buzz. $10 desserts, $21 to $26 meals, some of which you must pay extra for side dishes. Is it worth it? For myself, yes, just to say I've been there and experienced it. Will I go back? No.
3. The service is mediocre. The hosts and hostess' we're great at making my wife and I feel welcome, our waiter not so much. Our waiter wasn't rude or mean, but he wasn't friendly either. Our non-alcoholic drinks went without refill and needed to request refills. He checked on us once, and that was because he went to pick up his tip from one of his tables and needed to pass us on the way, other than that, I had to gain his attention. I noticed that the staff likes to hang out, they gather together and talk frequently. I thought it was a 10% tip experience, my wife thought a 15% tip was accurate (we tip on experience, 10% at lowest, 15% okay, 20% good, 25% excellent, 30% phenomenal), the table next to us thought $3 was sufficient.
Food is marginal at best. We just had trash can nachos and they are soggy and not good. We ordered them with chicken and it was hard to find, maybe a tablespoon of chicken at its best. Servers like standing and joking around verses waiting on customers. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. This our third or fourth try of this restaurant and probably will not come back. Way over priced and not worth what you pay. Two stars is being generous!
Came here for the first time the food was good ! Only missing one star because our rice was not good on all of our meals it was undercooked and crunchy. There was 5 of us at our table. The chips and salsa they bring out are tasty and the salsa not too spicy. We started with the mini trash can nachos with carnitas soooo good and they were enough for all of us to munch on. The burritos are huge ! What else to expect from a Guy Fieri establishement? I had the shrimp tacos and enjoyed the sauce they put on them. I would recommend.
The food is subpar and very expensive. The service makes up for the food. It makes me wonder how Guy Fieri is willing to put his name to this over priced slop.
Food is great. Party of 9 each loved there meal. Prices are overated. I get it Guy is famous but $32 for Nachos, $16 for a quesadilla, $10 for a corn on a cob.
Delicious all around. The food is delicious, the drinks are amazing. Our server Paul was so fun and on top of everything. We had a blast here! Highly recommend this place.
Mediocre comfort food at fine-dining prices with so-so service. It seemed like they didn't have enough servers for the number of tables, since our water wasn't refilled the entire meal. The fish in the fish tacos was deep fried and underseasoned. The only highlight was the tequila -- they have a great selection, and if you drink enough the food does taste better.
Ordered the fajitas, not impressed. came to the table sizzling. but the meat had already been cooked for sometime and just sliced when veggies were done wife had carne asada and hers was the same will not be going back most Mexican restaurants can do this dish much better and too expensive.
Wonderful chicken & shrimp fajitas!!! We couldn't wait to go to eat at Guy's again since we came last year !!! We were just disappointed that they are closed Tuesday & Wednesday. Thank goodness we went Sunday!!
We should have done our research first. Awesome place & service! Our waittress was superb!!
It's the worst Mexican food I ever tasted. The frijoles borrachos tasted like Rosarita Refried beans out of a can, and the Mole dulce had to much Chocolate. I do not recommend this place to a friend or anyone else for that matter!
After the long drive from Vegas a Margarita was greatly needed. The peach margarita was fantastic. The bartender was great and gave good advice on what to see in town.
This restaurant is garbage. The tacos are not street tacos as I know them. The nachos are smothered in queso. It s one of th worst restaurants I have been to in a long time. DON T GO!
Some of the best tex mex I have had. Priced a little high but the food taste and quality is worth it. The steak fajitas were seasoned perfectly with an abundance of steak. I would also recommend the fried ice cream.
For my 60th birthday 5/15, I wanted to go to GuyFfieri's El burro Borracho. I live in Havasu & have many nice restaurant to go to. But, I wanted to have the trash can nachos. My boyfriend tried to give me wonderful choices in our town. Nope I wanted Trash Can Nachos & a Margarita. Online it gives the open hours Sun-Thurs 5-9pm. We drive all the way there & they were CLOSED!!!! Thanks Guy for ruining my big day.
Our busser Hector was great, and the food was AMAZING! Between all of us tried the fish tacos, nachos, enchiladas, carnie asada burrito, and the chocolate flan. All of it was excellent.
I ordered the "Boracho" carne asada, the meat didn't taste like real meat. It tasted like their were economizing on the meat to maximize their profit . The Beans didnt taste like real beans. The Service at the Restaurant was AWESOME too bad the Food wasn't as good as their Service
The food was so-so. I had the Carna Asarne burrito.. First of all I expected the meat to be sliced. Mine was cut into chunks. Secondly, the meat was tough and finally there was WAY to much tortilla. We won't be back. On the plus side, all of the staff were terrific!
Amazing food and staff! We had stopped, and left 2 previous restaurants due to poor service. This place made us feel welcome, and had delicious food. We will return
The worst Mexican food I n our entire lives... was so excited to try this place for my birthday... the decor was fabulous but everything else we were completely disappointed with..the only thing that I liked was the salsa but couldn t enjoy because even the chips are bad... Don t waste your money or time terrible.. all of our dishes were so bad... my husband and I couldn t eat ours and my friend had to send his back.. the waiter was really nice until we were disgusted with our food, then he would barely look at us..I can t believe Guy would have a restaurant like this and my friend went to the one in Vegas and said it was terrible as well
Was skeptical after reading the reviews, but then it dawned on me that Karen can't be pleased. Bartender was very friendly, the mini trashcan nachos was a meal for 2. Will definitely eat next time we come down this way.
I actually hate to give this review but......the first time we went , amazing , the second time was this last September, we couldn't wait to eat there again with my family. I kept telling them how great it was going to be. Well after waiting 2 hours to eat, very disappointed . the food was slow coming out then it was cold. I asked the server when was the last time guy was here and she said 3 years? Maybe you should spend a little time there since your name is on it !! I will say the server was very nice. But overall Very sad . don't think ill be back. Pete
The menu was extremely difficult to read and we had no idea of the prices of anything the carne asada was tough and grissely not to mention it ended up costng 71 dollars for food we could not eat 71 dollars for two people for lousy mexican food I get better food of the food trucks
Service was good and friendly. The tacos are rather tasty, but expensive at $7 per taco and they are small. Also the shrimp tacos use tiny shrimp, just barely larger than bay shrimp. Same for the margaritas, tasty but expensive for the size at $14.
Being a celebrity chef's restaurant, I understand, but cannot give them 5 stars due to the value aspect
The staff were very friendly and the establishment was clean and comfortable. The music was not too loud. The Fajita tasted great but I got a dollop of sour cream about the size of a large marble. I asked for more and the waitress said that it would cost a dollar. A dollar per dollop!? Fail on this.
We love Diners, Drive Ins and Dives and often visit restaurants featured on the show. My husband in particular loves spicy Mexican food. This was our second visit. He got chicken fajitas. They were good but he would have liked more green peppers, less onions. The rice and beans on the side we're also good. I got a carnita quesadilla but was disappointed that the tortilla was like a cracker which I was not a fan of so I only ate 1 slice, avoiding the outer layers. The table and chairs were large enough so we didn't feel cramped and the game was on for my husband to enjoy. In the gift shop I was also disappointed that there were no t-shirts for large men (the largest was XL) and the button front shirts had NO restaurant branding on them whatsoever to make them a souvenir. What's the point of a shirt if there's no restaurant name or Guy's name on it? I posted a bunch of pictures but the review page didn't let me add them so you could see the shirts on the mannequins were different than the ones that were for sale. The best part was our waitress who was friendly and knowledgeable.
Lava tacos were good! A little fishy s the only disappointment was my to go order came with no silverware or napkins. Hotel s restaurant should always provide these essentials.
If I could do zero stares I would. I was so completely disappointed. With the prices you would think great food. Taco Bell had more flavor. Salsa had no flavor. The steak street taco's had meat tomatoes. No onion no cilantro No seasoning. So I ordered pico to add to it. They brought me a cup of tomatoes with literally 1 peice of onion in it nothing else. ... I really expected just a explosion of flavors...... nothing I got nothing. My Friend orderd Fish Tacos a small peice of fish and a bucket full of cabbage is what came with her order. Our bill was 80 food and drinks.. and I sent mine back and went down the way and got a slice of pizza!!! Service was topnotch on point excellent!!! Drinks were hit and miss.
Awesome service honestly. We had a personal waitress that was always on top of everything. It was to the point the manager went to our table and gave her complements. The food is pricey as my bill was 460 dollars but well worth it for our experience and taste buds.
My sister and I went to Laughlin last weekend and were super excited about trying this restaurant. We had looked at the hours and they were suppose to close at 10:00 which I thought seemed to be a little early for a Friday night. We should up at 9:09 and we re told they were closed, we said I thought you didn t close until 10 and they told us oh well we aren t busy so we decided to close at 9. What kind of restaurant does that!? No wonder you aren t busy!
Great service, our server was very professional and on point. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING, JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. The atmosphere and bar was very unique. Its a great place to try if your looking for a different dining experience. If you ask for specific instructions with your food, they will accomadate your need's. Price is actually not bad compared to Las Vegas or other upscale restaurants on the river.
The poorest attempt of Mexican food I ve ever experienced. A step below Taco Bell. The picadillo burrito. Very similar to the burrito supreme at Taco Bell but priced in the range of $20 and not nearly as palatable. I have had better experiences at gas stations, vending machines and so on. Oh well, I satisfied my curiosity about the place.
I sincerely feel pity for all invested in this tragedy
This restaurant is proof you can use a celebrity name to sell a low quality product. The ingredients and whole menu just seem cheap and processed. Prices are expensive, but you pay up front like Denny s. The price point vs quality and demographic simply don t make sense I have opened a variety of restaurants from CPK to Roys of Hawaii to Mastros. I opened this restaurant in 2014 and was shocked by the experience. Rather than Harrah s usual training they brought in a guy named Jeff Freeman, who was a savvy customer with no actual restaurant experience. Jeff wanted to apply a program where staff are trained with I-pads instead of human trainers. Ultimately this training wasted huge amounts of money and left the hotel with a barely trained restaurant staff. It was a jaw dropping experience. My last few days at El Burro Burracho were very frustrating. I worked a Friday night with 100 reservations. I only had a 3 table section, so I ran food 29 times. I made a mark each time I ran food then pointed out that their system wasn t working to a guy named Shay and Eric, both were managers who had been in charge of training. On Saturday I was the only server with a 4 table section (Top ranked! Yay) After owning my 4 tables and still running more food than any other server I was offered a fifth table; the VP of Harrahs Laughlin Brad with an important client. Brad was given impeccable service where he was very thankful and left $100 tip. Ultimately I had a great Saturday where I sold $2200 and made $450 in tips. I thought things might work out. On Monday I went in to the Harrahs nurse office to show my injured arm and ask for expedited medical care. I explained I was 8 months into the California Workers comp system and couldn t get care so my right arm had shrunk down to nothing. I was down to 170 lbs from my normal 240. Nurses said I should qualify for expedited medical, I was elated! The next day I show up for shift and Eric Fox is there with a lady from Human Resources to fire me. I asked how they could go from giving me the largest serving section to taking away my job. To fire your top ranked server doesn t make sense, they said they were not required to give any reason because I was still on probationary period. I can t believe this restaurant is still open...
