We were in the cafeteria and then in the store across the street
The cafeteria is small. It has several tables to sit and enjoy their cakes
We ordered a hot chocolate, coffee with milk and several pastries, I only remember the eclaire
They were very good
The price is a bit expensive, for example hot chocolate in a cup 6 but ... it's Paris, together with Madeleine, what they serve you is good, well, for once it is good
The store is very beautiful, they have chocolates and sweets by weight, in prepared boxes, etc.
They give you a try and it's all great

It was good value for money and delicious. The service was smooth and the store clerk responded politely. There was no problem because I made a reservation, but it was full at around 13:00.

If you are looking for a chic place, but it is the conventional side, you have come to the right place! Nice for a quick snack break.

Expensive, although almost worth it. Watch out for ordering black coffee as it just multiple espresso shots so VERY expensive!

The disaster ... No sir we welcome people from the hotel. Then finally if it's good. Then 20 minutes to get a card .. an order not very nice with a limited availability of pastries. I'm not talking about the lunch where we had to place the order 3 times because the waitress was unable to remember our dishes. And then it's long too long ... Frankly no interest. A good Michalak in the spring is so much nicer and good.

Amazing luxury experience in the busy centre of Paris. Everything is prepared with great attention to details, from drinks, through food till deserts and coffees. Service is also up to the place reputation, excellent one.

All that for that: Fauchon is just the emblem for capturing tourists.
When it comes to cooking, nothing extraordinary, the service is boring, when the price is extremely high.
Morality there is much better for less and in the same sector

This is the best place to have macarons. We saw the place in TV and had plan that whenever we will visit Paris, we will come here for our sweet tooth. This place doesn't disappoint and has lots of varieties of macarons and other sweet deserts.

Went there for breakfast. Very nice staff but overall overpriced. The omelet was just as good as the one served on board aircraft and the so-called smoothie was actually a yogurt.

The restaurant is very well placed on the Place de la Madeleine, suitable for a working lunch with a choice of plates and a formal service

What can I say .. We arrived at 10:30 am to have breakfast. (Between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on the site.)
The waiter tells us that breakfasts are no longer available. Surprised, we insist and we had a favorable response from the server, I quote: "We will make an exception for you."
Having to insist on having breakfast knowing that we are on time.
Only the "French-style" breakfast formula is available, do not refer to the menu on the website.
The places are beautiful and pleasant.

For a fauchon breakfast in a 5 star hotel, it did not live up to my expectations.
The pancake was hard as a rock.
In the basket of pastries, the pain au chocolat is not bad but they could have presented their almond croissant or colored croissants as they sell in the patisserie fauchon to stand out from other breakfasts.
The slobbery omelet we ordered was a little overcooked. On the other hand, the bacon requested with it was very good.
The fruit plate was carefully cut and sweet.
The cheese plate never arrived. The never-before-seen charcuterie platter.
It is true that for the price 39 the breakfast is really complete. We still need to receive all the products.
Allow at least an hour to have breakfast.
For dinner, Fauchon offers small portions to taste, I recommend the rack of lamb (or the rib of lamb?) As well as the riso.

Came with a foreign colleague on a Monday evening to relax with a drink after a long day at work. Good location, spacious, perfect weather with this setting.
However, we were seated at a dirty table, the service was way too slow (friendly waiters but obviously not enough) and the waiter got our order wrong after having to wait over twenty minutes to get a card and then order .
I attribute it more to a fault of the management than of the waiters. Unfortunately, I will not recommend this place to everyone around me.

If you are looking for the forgotten freshness, go your way ....

Very nice, comfortable and chic. Quality service although a bit slow. As for the lunch I came for, I'm not disappointed. The flavors and the presentation correspond well to the place. There is an option for vegetarians

It's beautiful and it's good and the price is correct for a lunch in this kind of establishment, 37 for two courses. But it's looooooong! You shouldn't be in a hurry or maybe tell them that you don't have all day even if you want to.
In addition, if you are seated near the automatic doors, ask to change places because you will suffer from the cold among other things because of the incessant passage of customers, delivery men, waiters ...
On the other hand, the decor is worth a look but lacks a little warmth.
Otherwise, it's good and the dishes are beautiful to see, especially the desserts. And we all know it, we eat as much with the eyes as the stomach. The quantities are correct.
The servers are friendly, but not very quick to serve.
In short, not much is missing for this address to become a must in the neighborhood.

Disappointed by the experience! Spelling mistakes on the map (sugar cane and vervaine). The cake was delicious but what a disappointment as to the decoration. The chocolate piercing seems to me a fault of taste.

I was forced to put 1 star but I would have preferred to put none.
Do not be fooled by the name Fauchon and the decoration of the place which do not match the dishes and the service!
The price / quality ratio is not at all justified! Dishes without much flavor and an endless wait without even the consideration of the waiters. No kindness and no explanations. The starter was served before the appetizer, which we also had to point out otherwise we might not even have had it.
We did not have a choice on the desserts advertised on the menu. There was a tray with 5/6 choices and that's it! Against ten in normal times. They should surely be put in before the menu on the 31st ...

I will definitely not recommend this restaurant and we will have very bad memories of it.

We went for a brunch. The buffet is extremely well supplied and varied (pastries, charcuteries, seafood, pies and quiches, risotto live by a chef). In short, you have something for everyone. The setting is nice and the service is small care! I recommend

Marvelous and chic chocolate Store in Madeleine Square, Paris.
