The chips and dip were interesting I would have preferred more heat on the salsa tasted more like a marinara I would put it on my pizza for pizza sauce, the chips were a nice touch with the little seasoning that they put on it. I ordered the roasted chicken tortilla soup not quite hot enough served warm, not hot. Flavor was good. I would have preferred a little crunch on the tortilla chips for the soup. The hosts were great.

Kind of underwhelmed, food was mostly microwaved and the server, who was quite pleasant, served soup to my seat neighbor (on a round table) across me? Seemed kind of odd to have hot soup passed in front of my face rather than going around the table. Wouldn't go back, maybe my expectations were high but I honestly dont even remember what I ordered. Bland and uninspiring.

Not what i expected being guys place drove 4 hours 2 come here and drinks alone took 4 ever asking about food before drinks ever hit the table and service couldn't even answer questions or get food right.

We were looking forward to a good street taco from one of our favorite chefs. It didn't happen. The Margarita was good, but the food was simply mediocre at best, and way too pricey. I got the Baja Style Fish Tacos, my wife had the shrimp tacos. The fish didn't have that just fried freshness and were room temperature and bland. The frioles and rice were also room temperature. Even with the addition of a special salsa, at extra cost, it didn't improve the taste or quality. My advice is look elsewhere, like El Palacio across the river at Bullhead City.

Wish I would ve came in hungrier than I was! We ordered margaritas, trash can nachos & each ordered an entree. The trash can nachos were some of the best nachos i ve ever eaten! Margs were top notch. I barely got to taste my entree because I was full before I ever got to take a bite. If me & my hubby take another trip to Laughlin we will definitely eat here (maybe even twice!)

The chips were great the salsa not so much. Drinks very good. The food does not look like any pictures you see anywhere advertised for this place. If Guy did a Triple D show here it would put him out of business. The servers were terrific especially with what they had to work with food wise.

The wait was supposed to be 1 1/2 hrs for 2 people on a Thursday, waited 45mins and 1/3 of the resteraunt was empty! They are trying to create an exclusive environment but it's totally just over rated.

Our experience here was that the service is top notch. Kudos to the servers for serving horrible food. The fajitas had no flavor and the vegetables were very soggy. We had a group of 26 and I did try to keep this in mind. But everyone s food came out terrible. Really a bummer. Thankful for the service but disappointed in the food

Guy, you need to get your restaurants in order dude! To be honest, I was not impressed at all. I could have eaten at a local Mexican restaurant here in St George Utah, paid 1/2 the price or less and had much much better food. I ordered to go. The Al pastor tacos were blant and had no flavor. The Queso fundido didnt even come in a bowl, it was in a make shift aluminum foil wrap. It didnt have any chorizo in it, just a sauce.

I love this place, everytime i go to laughlin i eat here at least once. It has a great atmosphere and vibe. The food is amazing and very authentic. The prices are well worth the taste and presentation. I recommend this place to all who like mexican food.

Had the Chicken Fajitas it was delicious, ordered the Cadillac Margys and they were tasty, but expensive and needed more alcohol, no shot of Gran Marnier came on the side. Thats why 4 stars.

Made reservations on Friday evening with Harrahs front desk for dinner for 12 Saturday. Was called back at 1500 HRs by the GM of the restaurant and was told he did not take reservations but could have a table for us after dinner rush at 9:45 pm.

We were then told by wait staff that they didn't take reservations and that there would be a 1 HR 30 minute wait.

Very unprofessional, I'll prepared and immature. I do not recommend.

Had a great time at this place sat at the bar very friendly atmosphere and the bartenders were outstanding. Food was excellent Chili Verde Enchiladas Beans and Rice with Chips and Salsa great. Also had El Pastor Tacos over the Top with Beers and Tequila shots highly recommended by the bartenders who basically did it all with tremendous service. I will be back soon.

The staff are great (to start off) but that's were it goes down hill, the food is a health hazard that needs to go under maintenance and if there was a better chef the place would definitely be a 4 out of 5.

WAY OVER PRICED. $7.00 for a small fish street taco that had no taste. A $25.00 Pork Chile Verde burrito so salty I couldn't eat it. Waitress was so rude I wanted to slap her. A good thing the chips & salsa young man was nice and around a lot unlike our waitress. I would starve to death before i would eat there again. It makes me wonder about Guy is telling us about other foods he thinks is good.

Too much salt in food, I mean like a cup, you can not taste the actual food item whether it be grilled shrimp cocktail or the alongside slaw / cocktail sauce. Second visit had Al Pastor tacos, corn tortillas were not grilled properly so the tacos fell apart, alongside the mango jalapeno salsa could see tiny dices of mango but again no taste. When asked about my experience the above as repeated to bar tenders, floor manager and franchise manager, none of whom was listening or offered to take off a percentage or make it square with me as the patron. I will not return to nacho average taco joint anytime soon.

Stopped in for frozen margaritas and garbage can nachos. I wish I was hungrier while I was there, I have to plan a little better next time. Although the nachos were the small size, two of us couldn't finish the plate.

Service was great. Food was decent, nothing spectacular at all. Especially not for the price. Paid a little over $70 for a chimichanga, a steak quesadilla and one margarita. You re definitely paying for the name on the restaurant. Won t be coming back.

Has this restaurant ever heard of seasoning? Food was bland and arrived cold to our table. I was looking forward to eating here and left dissatisfied and disappointed. Biggest let down of my trip.

Service deserves 5 stars, and met my expectations. Very attentive. Drinks were good, pricey, but met my expectations. Wife had shrimp cocktail, which she enjoyed. I had Carne Asada, which I would score 1 out of 5. Tasted old like leftover chuck roast. I would not order it again. Overall, I'm not sure I'll return.

The restaurant is nice. Good atmosphere and the service was very good. The food was a C at best. My soup was so salty and had no other flavor. We also had shrimp cocktail that was weird and the shrimp was rubbery. Drinks were just alright and overpriced. If the food and drinks would have been awesome I wouldn't
complain about the price. But not worth $70 for 2 drinks , a shrimp cocktail and bowl of soup. Guy we love you but are disappointed. D rating in book will not return.

Nice prices, great food, and knowledgeable staff.

Nice prices, great food, and knowledgeable staff.

The Trifecta at El Burro Borracho. Creative and yummy spin of TexMex and traditional Mexican food. Best of both worlds.

The good.
The carne asada. It is full of mouth watering flavor.

The bad:
Not enough of them around!

The ugly/weird:
Only open from 5PM to approx 11PM. This would be killer from noon to close for all those tired of other Mexican or TexMex choices..

Final verdict:
You won't be disappointed. Great good just hard to find...

Bland and Flavorless - Underwhelming

My wife and I received our orders quickly but the food was very underwhelming. The chicken was cooked but flavorless. The vegetables were undercooked. The beans were just ok and the rice stone cold. The staff were friendly but honestly, taco bell makes better Mexican food. This place is all hype and can't deliver. Not worth the time. The music was loud and abnoxious. It had absolutely no Mexican restaurant appeal. Guy Fieri should do some quality control checks. We won't go back.

Omg this place totally lives up to the hype! The food is awesome very different entrees but also the good old standards just with a Guy flair. Good portion sizes and fastest service I have ever received. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The drinks are yummy. This is a must check out on Laughlin.

Meh, maybe my expectation was to high. Service was a bit on the slow side. Took a while to be greeted by the server. A greeting to say hello and we will be right with you would be nice. The food was okay, if you like queso fundido there is hardly any cheese mostly pico. I order queso for the cheese. Chips and salsa were tasty and very fresh. I liked that they served the salsa in individual cups. No worries about double dippers there. At best I would rate my experience a C.
