Tim provides me 6-Star customer service and support! I have never had such great service where they were concerned about me and my car. I think that could have something to do with Tim s military experience. He s such an asset to your company in that he listens to the client and advises on what the car needs.

At no point was I ever made to feel that I needed to spend more even though there were things to address. In fact Tim noticed that I had a pattern of doing additional things like fuel additive at every other visit. How smart that he looked at my history, presented the info and helped me to formulate a plan.

There s a reason that I have shopped Gunn Honda since 1990 and the additional expertise and authentic customer service means that I m not only a Gunn Honda girl for life, I will always use Gunn Honda Service because I know they will take care of me and my investment!

I had previously had a great experience at Gunn Honda in October 2018 when I was looking for a Civic Coupe, however I decided to wait to buy at that time, but knew I d be back. I went to Gunn Honda today because I was interested in getting the Civic Coupe and hoping for the same great experience, however that was definitely not the case. My salesperson was Anita Aguirre. She seemed really nice at first, but after the test drive the whole process started to feel very rushed and impersonal. As I m looking at the Deal Worksheet with the break down of the fees, I see that the $600 Blue Steel Protection was already factored into the cost and when I told her I didn t want it, she said it already came with the car and that I didn t have the option to decline it. Finally, I get into financing with sales manager, Zach and as we re negotiating, he says he can remove a $1000 added warranty to get my payment lower (this was not included on the break down of fees). I decide not to get the car because we could not get within the payment range I wanted and the whole process was making me uneasy at this point because of the dishonesty and lack of transparency. So he leaves the room and then comes back saying that Anita was already removing the license plates off my trade-in. I hadn t even bought the car yet! He asks if I want to take the car home for the weekend to think about it and I say no. I just wanted to leave already. As I m walking to my car, I pass Anita and she smiles and says goodbye to me, but when I get to my car, I see my license plates are back on, but the frame that was around my front license plate is broken and laying on the ground and both my front and back license plates are loosely screwed back. Wow, just wow. I will never be back to this dealership again and I do not recommend anyone buy from here.

I agree with another review that said this dealership has changed my perception of car buying. I am so loving my Accord and how well I am taken care of at Gunn- all thanks to Adam! He took such awesome care of us. Adam was patient and kind, he also communicated well and answered all of our questions. Our next car will definitely be from Gunn Honda.

Peter my salesmen was very helpful, didn't have to jump through hoops no haggling and it's nice to see a fellow veteran take care of another veteran. I brought the car in on July 5th with a dead battery. Although this was a very busy day for the dealership, I was given an accurate estimate of when the car would be ready to go, and my battery warranty was honored by making the replacement free of charge. The amenities in the waiting area made the experience comfortable if not downright pleasant.

We had originally planned on looking at an older truck for my husband. When we arrived we where greeted almost immediately. Unfortunately the truck we wanted to look at wasnt there. Our salesman was very patient with us as we changed direction to looking for our son instead and my husband would just keep our sons truck. We test drove a couple of cars choose the one we felt was the right one. While waiting for financing, we decided to trade my still new SUV for a 2018 Accord touring. Our salesman stayed so patient through our number of mind changes. By the end of it all Momma got the new car husband kept our sons truck for now and in a few months we will return to purchase and new truck for my husband and our son can have his truck back then! Thank You "VEE" for working so to keep us happy and Thank you Sal for getting us Financed, both of you worked so hard for us, we are grateful for both of you guy's hard!

I just traded one Honda for a new one at Gunn and now that I know how easy a car deal can be, I'll trade more often. I will NEVER try any other dealer after this. Gunn is the best!

I had always dreaded trading in a car because of the "shell game" that was a part of the old-school business. ("Let me run that by my manager, blah, blah, blah...") I knew I had a brake job coming up on my old car and I just didn't want to deal with it so I drove through the lot at closing time - hoping that no one would accost me with that car-salesman-ish, hand shaking, flirting, winking and yammering. I was "just looking." Well, a salesman DID come out at closing to see if he could help us but he was different. He was intelligent and kind and spoke softly and listened carefully to what I was saying. I had my elderly Mom with me and I was so grateful for his good manners as Mom is easily overwhelmed. Mike did not overwhelm Mom. On the contrary, when we left that night, Mom said, "He was such a gentleman!" Our salesman was Mike Paiz and he really was a gentleman.

I didn't have my proof-of-insurance with me so Mike gently suggested he drive a CRV and a Pilot for us to see...that night! We did and we carried on an interesting conversation about our grandparents - not a high-pressure sales pitch. He just demonstrated the good things about both models and told us what was different. He really knew his stuff and was able to accurately answer my questions. We parted company that night and agreed that I'd come by the next day to test drive the cars myself. No pressure.

That night, I sent out an internet request for prices to four other San Antonio area dealerships. By the next morning, my phone was ringing off the wall with "preliminary prices" and hints that the other dealers could really give me a "good deal." I followed up and got their best prices including offers for my trade in. After I talked to Mike again, none were as good as Gunn's offer so I did my online research and offered a fair price for the Honda CR-V EX that I had chosen and asked for a fair price for my trade in. That was all I needed to make the purchase and I asked to skip all the trips back and forth to the manager. After a short wait, I was presented with a contract that included a great price on the new car and even more than I asked for on my trade-in! This company is the real thing - honest and fair! Our sales manager was Damon Honore and he couldn't have been more kind. I told him just to give me his best deal without all the games and that's exactly what I got. I will never, ever go through the agony of the old style of car trading again. This was just so easy.

We were shown the entire Gunn facility including the service area and the very clean and comfortable waiting area as well as the offices for folks we may have a need to contact in the future. We finalized the purchase in the office of the Finance and Insurance representative named Austin French where we had the Honda warranty explained to us as well as some interesting facts about law changes affecting automobile purchases. He was able to take great care of us - obtaining a title for my trade in because I had misplaced the original. Just a very smooth transaction and the whole thing took us less than 2 hours!

I never expected to write a glowing review for any car dealership after some nightmarish experiences in the past, but when Mike tells you that Gunn Honda is "different," you can believe him. Gunn is really, REALLY different and better! This transaction has made me a loyal Gunn Honda customer and I really will be trading more often now that I'm not afraid of getting the big run-around.

Well done, Mike and Damon and Gunn! The industry needs a whole lot more JUST LIKE YOU! I am well pleased with my new car and my whole Gunn Honda experience.

I came in to get the oil change and replace the starter. Mr. Malone called the warranty company and took care of my starter at the same time as oil change. I was also offered a shuttle ride home. Richard, who drove me home was a nice guy. Both of them were very helpful. They got the job done in a respectful and professional manner. After negotiating for nearly two months with six dealerships in the Austin area, and never coming closer than about $1600 from my target price, I contacted Gunn Honda in San Antonio. They had the exact car I wanted, and were $300 below the price I was seeking from dealers in Austin. These same Austin dealers were telling me my asking price was below their cost, even after all of the incentives and dealer holdbacks were taken into account.

So, I drove to San Antonio to visit Gunn. I already had financing in place, and within minutes, was test driving the exact car I wanted, and, lo and behold, the price was actually what Gunn told me it was going to be. I was never pressured by the salesperson, or by the finance manager. It was a very easy deal, and although I went armed to battle it out, I was pleasantly surprised when there was no arm twisting for anything! They did try to sell me some accessories and warranties, but didn't seem to be bothered at all when I declined their offers and stuck with just the car.

When all was said and done, I saved almost $5000 off the sticker price, and paid about $2000 less than the price the dealers in Austin, Killeen and San Marcos tried to sucker me into. I couldn't be happier with my new 2010 Accord, and was very pleasantly surprised with my Gunn experience.

I called to ask about availability on a used vehicle I was interested in and was told by Adrian Garza that it was available. Drove all the way out to the dealership, waited for 30 minutes, and he passed me off to another salesperson who said the car was actually not available and no longer on the lot. Very frustrating and a waste of an hour and a half.
I then received a call later that day from Adrian saying that the car had gone to auction, but he asked the manager to bring it back. From there the experience improved. After deciding to purchase the vehicle the process was pretty smooth and easy. I appreciate the effort Gunn made to make this vehicle available and the purchase quick and painless.

I have been using Gunn for service for six years. Never had any negatives and always felt like they have great service and staff. Also like the extras like the massages and the donuts while waiting. But...Friday I took my car in for a slow leak in the right front tire. They took it right back and got to work on it as I had to leave for a short trip in an hour or so. They couldn't find the leak even though they took the tire off the rim and everything. Had to air it up that night and again Saturday morning. Took the car to discount tire in Kerrville Saturday and they found a very small hole and patched it. Oops...

I had a very negative experience with their internet sales process. They could not figure out their own pricing and when finally down to a price we could close a deal on, then suddenly that price was not available anymore. This was my first only, and last try to purchase a vehicle from Gunn. I also read another review below about how the promote their one simple price and it is better than others. Just not true at all.

When my car wouldn t start, I called Joe Esparza, and he tried to talk me through accessing the battery for a good jump connection. When I still could t get it started, Joe looked up my information for me to verify I was still under warranty and gave me the roadside assistance number. A tow truck arrived 20 minutes later, and towed me to the dealership for an evening drop off. First thing in the morning, I got a text that I could contact Joe with any questions, and when my car was ready, Joe texted me, knowing I am a teacher and cannot easily answer the phone throughout the day. When I arrived to get my car, Joe was thorough on what had been done and made sure to show me how to access the battery in case I ever need to jump it again. THANK YOU!!!

Took my vehicle in for warranty work on a Saturday morning. Both headlight assemblies on my 2016 Accord Sport needed to be replaced due to malfunctioning LED strips inside the assembly. I also had some battery related concerns and a recall that needed replacement as well. Car was ready Monday afternoon, which was to be expected. Service advisor remained in contact during the process. A quick wash and vacuum, and perhaps the option for a loaner vehicle during repairs lasting over a day or more would be great, but I m in no way holding that against them. Great job Gunn Honda!

I am very pleased with the service I received at Gunn Honda. I am humbled by how Manny received my dad and I and arranged for service, and for my car to be fixed. Rarely does one receive this quality of service anywhere. This has to be attributed to the manner that Gunn hires and trains their customer service technicians and representatives. I was about to buy a car at carmax when they offered a very low number for my trade in. I decided to look around and ended up at Gunn Honda on ih10. From the very beginning Sohail Zakria was upfront and honest with me. He found me a better car, lower miles, so many more features and a stellar warranty. He even came in on his only day off to insure i was in the right car for my new family. He also offered me several hundred more for my trade in then anyone else! The next time I or anyone I know is ever looking for a vehicle I say skip the drama and the work that goes into looking for a used vehicle and go straight to Gunn. ASK FOR SOHAIL! The man that helped me at Gunn was very nice. I went to buy some parts. Tiny light bulbs are $5.70 - outrageous price! - for the dome light and the light in the back seat.
I went to Hill Country Honda originally. However, the part I was looking for wasn't in stock. David at Hill Country called Gunn for me so it was a productive trip. He was especially good with customer service, being very patient to answer my questions and check on availability of what I need. I'm not pleased with Honda's prices, but I'm pleased with the two that helped me today - and the fact that I was able to buy the parts needed to fix my car.

Eh place was ok. My mother is self employed an they requested paystubs. She does not have any but does have verification of income, which they would not accept. So we decided to buy vehicle out right since they would not allow us to fiance (weird we just financed a new 2020 last year and paid it off no problem using same paperwork they would not accept). Anyway guy tells us they can't do any better than what it is priced, that it is the best price. Its not the average sold an bought was 500 less than their sticker price. Also vehicle had a chipped(in five different places) windshield an you're telling me you can't do better. Who knows what else could be hidden that needs to be fixed. Our experience wasn't great an now we will just settle on getting cars from the same ancira dealership that's helped us twice before.
