From the second I enter the parking lot I was greeted and felt welcome. I didnt feel rushed or force I got to take my time and the service was really fast( which we all know can be a all day process). Left with my dream car and I love it. Most people sell you a car and the second you leave off the lot they ghost you but Joe and Jim kept in contact with me and made sure everything went smooth. Great Owner and Staff! We recently purchased 2 vehicles, and the process went smooth. Great selection. The Staff are very honest, and they open the doors to any comments about negotiations.
The vehicle we bought is a lemon! Beware of their vehicles. Shiny on the outside, but defective on the inside. Bad transmission, defective Brake Master cylinder with ABS Actuator, defective Charcoal Canister, check engine light on, failed emissions inspection, etc. Almost half the cost of the vehicle for the worth of repairs. I tried reaching multiple times the manager/owner/whatever, but never contacted me back. I even send a detailed letter explaining my situation, no response. I never even demanded the dealership to cover the cost of all the repairs so I could at least pass emissions and eventually register the vehicle. In fact, whatever communication I tried to establish with them is for me to find out how they will respond and handle this issue. Worst part is they never did, at all! What kind of customer service is that?! The sales people, maybe I could give them a good remark, but the ethics of the owner/manager, selling poor quality vehicles coming from auction... never mind.
Most of their positive reviews here in Google are made by workers, relatives, and friends of the owner. It's pretty obvious. Just beware of their business.
I bought a 2012 Dodge 3500 test drive it for a hour it ran great get back write a check for the truck the owner take the truck to put fuel in it and I get in it to leave and here I am 2 months later in have a truck with over 6000.00 in repairs and It still will not run. The fuel sysstm was totally clogged up. On top of that 2 months later I still do not have a title for a truck I paid cash. My parents was gonna by a Toyota there and was told to give them a deposit and if they decide not to buy the Toyota the deposit would b refunded well car came back the car had been in a crash with structural rear famage so my parents didn't want a repaired car. They did not refund my parents money. I would not recommend this place for nothing not even a free ride to a store
The purchase of my vehicle was fair enough but I feel I wasn t properly informed about follow up. Though communication was great initially, responses stopped and I began to understand what sold as is truly means. I m now working on diagnoses and repairs.
We recently purchased a vehicle from Guaranteed Automaxx for my wife to transport our autistic daughter to her therapy sessions 3 days out of the week. We noticed a couple repairs that the vehicle needed before buying the vehicle. Our sales rep Joe said no problem the repairs would be done. We made a deposit on the vehicle so the repairs could be completed by the time we returned to close out the deal. We returned to close the deal and the repairs hadn t been completed or even started. Joe the sales rep says we can close the deal and just bring the vehicle back and Guarantee Automaxx will definitely take care of the repairs. I took him for his word. Returned the vehicle less than a week for the repairs. 9 days later get a text that repairs have completed. I m a business owner of the #1 and highest rated auto glass company in area so I understand that in business sometimes things like delays happens. I m not sure what happened but the repairs had not been completed or even addressed. Had to return the vehicle to Guaranteed Automaxx in less than 3 minutes . We re praying that the vehicle repairs are fixed so our daughter with autism doesn t has to miss any therapy sessions, my wife can go to work, and we can stop paying for a rental.
I will definitely do a follow up review because I do believe in being honest and far.
Run away. I was 100% scammed by this fraudulent dealer. I purchased a vehicle described as "in perfect condition and fully inspected." So, I had the vehicle shipped across country. When I started it (just off the delivery truck) it was flashing service engine light. After weeks of worry and trying.. it turned out to be a bad engine, tar all over, busted mirror, damage on body that wasn't mentioned, and the dirtiest air filter I've ever seen - it speaks volumes about what they actually look at. There is absolutely no way they didn't know it was bad - the service engine light came on EVERY time I started the vehicle. They simply reset the code and shipped it. I'm $7000 out of pocket for repairs on a $9400 truck. They will lie about absolutely everything! They said "as-is" too bad and only offered to refund $400 (ha) towards my expenses but were still concerned with their profit margin. That check hasn't even showed up. I should have believed the other negative reviews but wanted the truck they had - boy did I pay for it.
Look no further if you want to purchase a vehicle this is the place to buy it from!

We all do searches on the net looking for the best deal, for me Guarantee Automaxx was it. I applied on the website for financing, received an immediate call from Ray. He informed of the terms, and we took it from there. Once I arrived I noticed the large inventory (this is important) it tells you that they are not a fly by night dealership. Upon arrival, greeted by Ray, my contact very professional, open and personable. I am by far not gullible or not savy in business and I didn't have to be dealing with Ray. Everything is up front, cut and dry. They detailed the car, and had me out the door. I highly recommend this dealership, good prices, excellent staff, everyone I spoke with and good selection. Oh and from the other folks with bad experiences, make sure you take responsibility in checking the vehicle's carfax, and inspecting it yourself, I DID.......FINAL NOTE DO NOT>>>>>>>>>I REPEAT DO NOT FINANCE WITH EXETER FINANCE.......they accrue finance on a daily bases.......find your own financing. I refi'd immediately but STILL HAD to pay for a few days of interest.....I went from 22% for NO apparent reason to 6%......so I guess my credit wasn't that bad huh? RIGHT.........Update- Had a post sale situation, Ray along with owner stood by the sale and we resolved the issue.
I recently purchased a truck from this location customer service is not something they value. I have been driving the vehicle less than a week and it s already in the shop for possible engine issues. Terrible dealership and not willing to help because I did not buy the extended warranty. I highly and strongly recommend going somewhere else so you don t buy a POS like I did.

I was shopping for a car and ended up with salesman John who basically told me they help people in my situation all the time. At the same time, directed me to Car Credit Nation. I should've known that the redirect was a red flag. John told me his finance guy was busy and to go online and fill out an application. The next day he told me he would call me after he talked to his finance guy. I never received a call so I called John. Later, I received a "Text Message "stating that the finance gut was working on lowering my downpayment and I should know the results in a few hours. An hour later, John "text" me stating they couldn't lower the down payment. Since, I didn't like the texting when it comes to car buying, I went to talk in person John who stated finance guy was still working. This information was totally different from his text. He told me to patiently wait until the next day and would call me by noon. On the next day, I never received a call, so I called to talk to finance mgr. He told me the very opposite of what John said. I called back to talk to a finance mgr again and somehow John answered and refuse to let me speak to anyone else. I will never know my other options as far as if I could get a cosigner because of the ignorance and unprofessional ism of John who also stated that he was a mgr.
I have to say I'm giving this car dealership five stars for the outstanding salesman that I dealt with today I believe his name is Ray but I'm not sure he went out of his way to teach me things about finances that I didn't even understand see I am a widow and I don't like to go into car dealerships cuz I don't understand it all but he took time to teach me a few things about my finance I value this greatly cuz people don't take time to help people anymore back but he did he took time to try to make a deal and if the deal doesn't go through it's okay I understand when God wants to bless me he bless me and when he doesn't he shuts doors but I learned something here today and I want his boss to know he is an excellent outstanding salesperson so if it goes through it goes through if it doesn't it won't my feelings won't be hurt but I will feel that I have learned something from a man that has honesty integrity and morals and cares for people you don't find that in a Salesman special and a car dealership anymore but this car dealership has been there forever I can remember way way back when when I was a teenager that's how long this car dealership is been there so I'm happy to say best place to buy a car I recommend them 5 stars please forgive me for any mistakes that I've wrote on this review driving and texting is not a good thing

The reason for one star is because I had to put something in order to write a review. I wrote a review back in August 2017 and I said how very pleased I was with the company. Yes I got my dream car but my 750 BMW started smoking 3 days after I left the lot. Although guarantee auto Maxx took the car back to fix it they kept the car for almost a month. We picked the car back up wasn't smoking until the next day when I sat at the light for more then 2 mins I called them back to tell them that they knew the car was smoking before they sold it we later found out they poured lucus thickener to stop the smoking. They lied and told me they fixed the smoking issue and they never even touched the car besides doing the oil change . Iam now stuck with a car loan of 8,000 for a car I can't drive because of the smoking situation. My son as asthma and that smell of that oil burning makes him sick so needless to say don't be fooled like I was. I hope that I can save someone else so please make sure you are getting a good deal and not a lemon. I appreciate you all reading this post. God bless you have a wonderful day.

Just obtain a 2012 Range Rover Sport. Notice noice from the timing chain guide. I ll hold bad or better review until they correct this. Check with Range Rover they had bad timing chain guides on their model year 2011-&2012.
The have corrected this with corrective parts waiting on dealer to move forward . I ll keep you posted on the outcome. Hopefully the bad reviews can be proven wrong.
These guys are the real deal. I bought a Prius from them and traded in my old Sienna about a month ago and the experience could not have been easier. Everyone there was extremely friendly and answered every question I had about the car. I ended up taking the car to a pre-purchase inspection facility, but they found nothing wrong with it. My new Prius was reasonably priced, especially for the condition it is in, and I could not be happier with how it's operated since purchase. The new tags showed up on time a month later, and I am just very impressed by this facility. If you see a car you like here, don't hesitate.

This place is a joke. They're all crooks! DO NOT GO HERE TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE!!!!!
Bought a car from here with 60k miles. Less than 50 miles later of driving, the instrument panel lit up like a Christmas tree. Purchased an "Extended Warranty" deal from them, if that's what you want to call it. Took a month for them to get the ball rolling and finally, simply tell me what shop to take it to. So, I take it to the shop and the owner of Guarantee offers me a loaner car. Picking one out, he tells one of his employees to bring it around. Employee comes back saying the car wasn't even starting! Really? Feel bad for the poor soul who buys that one. I drop my car off at the shop. 30 minutes after I drop it off, Guarantee Automaxx takes it upon themselves to take my vehicle from the shop I left it at and brought it somewhere else without notifying me. When I called the shop where I left it to get an update 2 days later, an employee at the shop told me they took the car 30 minutes after I dropped it off. When I called Gaurantee, they told me they didn't know where the car was!! Finally, I find out where my car is and it gets back to Gaurantee somehow. Now that my car is fixed (at least I think it is), all they need to do is take it to a DMV to get it inspected and tags put on it. The temp tags have been expired. But, that of course is too much to ask. So, Guarantee being the people they are have charged me for registering the car but didn't do it. Refund maybe? Hmm, I wont hold my breath. Overall, I would give negative stars for this place but I cant.

Just wanted to leave a 3 week post purchasing review. We purchased our vehicle on April 16 and as of today, May 8, the vehicle still hasn't shown up on our DMV records as being registered and our temp tags run out on May 16. We have a trip we need to take in the vehicle and will be out of town when the temp tags expire, and we need our plates before we leave. So, I called the number on their website today and the person who answered the phone didn't identify himself but needless to say, he wasn't very personable and came across as rude. Pretty much wouldn't let me talk and said he was outside and needed to go inside to look at our records and that he would call me back in a few minutes. That was 30 minutes ago and why I am writing the review.
The person on the phone said they took a bunch of stuff to the DMV yesterday and our stuff may have been in that batch. Either way, I don't care about when they dropped it off. We purchased our vehicle 3 weeks ago and they shouldn't sit on the registration for that long. I don't feel we should have to chase them down. We purchased a vehicle from another dealer in July last year and it showed up on our DMV online in less than 10 days. I will update my rating once this has resolved.

We bought a beautiful 2012 Beetle from this dealership. We made sure we checked out all features on the car, we looked at the auto report (provided by the dealer, both when we looked at the car and when we bought it), and we had the car inspected by a mechanic we know and trust. We identified one non-functioning feature that we wanted repaired. They took care of it. We came to an acceptable price and bought the car. We're very happy. Don't buy any used car without doing your due diligence.
I would not recommend anyone to this place. Complete rip off, don t even waste your time. Not living up to its name. Definitely false advertisement, So disappointed in the dealership and service center, the rep must ve forgotten that it s about customer service first. They give information with no supporting documents or details, they base everything off credit and provide baseless useless info on why they could or could not get you approved. They did not ask for any employment info or anything to verify me. If you call for info the person who answers is extremely rude and impatient and is not as educated on much of anything. The salesmen seems to just only want to deal with people who is paying a down payment. Money hungry salesmen. I ve done research on several cars on their lot and they provide false info on car fax so beware. This place is a scam and I regret ever even calling them.

The prices are good, they have a nice selection. The people are really nice, I was helped by a man named Jay. He made sure that my credit score stayed level and didn't check it multiple times because they have a financial adviser here to help. The 3 year warranty takes care of any issues I have with my car with only a 100 dollar deductible and they have nice clean Cars. The cars are accident free and they make buying a car easy and give you extra pointers on everything and you don't have to go to the dmv to get anything done. They even washed my cat for me after I got it.

Great experience working with Guarantee Automaxx. Very refreshing to work with Ray and Phillip, who both help me along with the buying and trading in my previous vehicle process. Ray worked tirelessly to get me into the car I wanted and Phillip went above and beyond getting a mailing mix up with my bank fix. I would recommend Guarantee Automaxx and those two to everyone I know.
Only one start because I could not give zero. I traded in a 2014 Honda CR-V with 30k miles for a 2007 FJ Cruiser with 60K miles back in March. They stall when it comes to fixing cars and are constantly giving excuses. The lights on my dash are still on. And the shop that I took it too says the car was clearly in an accident.These guys are a bunch of crooks, especially the Secretary and the owner. They may have a good deal sitting around but their cars are bought broken and tattered down from auctions and are only maintained to look good. Do NOT waste your money.
Car I test drove had an alarm that brakes were at the minimum when I started the car. The engine was not I idling correctly and within 2 miles of the test drive the computer said it had an engine malfunction and was operating at half power. The worst part was that the car only had 37k miles. They will never get my business.
I drove 2-1/2 hours to the dealership and Ray had the car ready for me to test drive when I arrived. He addressed all my concerns, we struck a deal and he moved the process along quickly and painlessly - drove home with a quality vehicle. I usually only buy from private sellers, but this was a good experience.

Here is an update. Ray must be a liar. I have been given two dates as to when I will get my tags and have not gotten them yet. I can't stand a liar! I was a man of my word and did what I said I was going to do. They are not people of their word.
6/20/2019. Ray continues to lie. Newest story his runner forgot or was sick and could not pick up tags. Just continues to lie about sending me my tags. Said he was going yesterday to pick them up? Hmmm that was 4pm. DMV closes at 4:30 if I recall. When asked if I could speak to owner. First he would be in the next day. When I told him a time I would be speaking to Owner. Then owner was going to be at an auction. My next steps will be reporting Ray to DMV licensing board and BBB. They have definitely played with the wrong person! Beware of Ray he is a lying typical car salesman.
I came here expecting to hear what other dealerships told me. but with the help of Joe and the staff here i just financed MY MERCEDES! Thank you Gautomaxx. I will be back for sure!

Never ever buy a vehicle through this dealership. Purchased a pick up truck less than a year ago and so many different parts have broken on this truck. The finance guy Phil informed us that we had to purchase a 100,000 mile two year warranty on the truck to secure financing. We were led to believe that this warranty was valid for the vehicle purchased. A few months after purchasing the vehicle a bearing came loose on the drivers side front wheel and almost caused the truck to crash on 1-95. After speaking with the warranty company they told us where to take the truck to have it repaired. Once the shop had spoken with the warranty company we were told that it wouldn't cover any of the damages due to the truck being modified (lift kit and oversized tires). The warranty was for the truck as-is when purchased. The truck was already lifted with oversized tires at the time of purchase. We ended up paying for these repairs out of pocket and then about a month later had to repair the other bearing on the passengers side of the truck. The warranty company led us to believe that it would still cover the vehicle as long as repairs weren't related to any modifications. A few months after this the transmission in the truck is completely shot and needs to be replaced. We called the warranty company and they tell us now that the warranty is completely voided by the modifications and will cover nothing on the truck. Garuantee automaxx sold us a warranty that they knew would not cover any part of this vehicle to secure a sale. When we called the dealership to see what they could do to resolve the situation we were promptly hung up on. We will be contacting the better business bureau and an attorney since the dealership will not resolve this in an ethical manner. This dealer sells dangerous and faulty vehicles and has no integrity as an ethical business. They have done nothing to resolve any of the issues we have had with this vehicle. Legal action will be taken from this point on.
Guarantee Automaxx has a nice selection of cars and trucks for all ages. It is an easy drive from the Richmond or Washington area. Even though i did not purchase a vehicle on the day i visited I had a very informative visit when i spoke with Eli. He is a very nice person and would recommend speaking with him whomever is looking to afford a reliable and decent price car or truck.
Drove over an hour to check out a vehicle they had on the lot. After test driving there were multi things wrong with the car. The fuel pump was so loud you could hear it in the car. Still interested we made a deal and was told all things would he fixed on the vehicle and receive a call later that day. No phone call. I called back two days later and was told the car was going to be fixed that day and would call that afternoon to let us know what was going on. SURPRISE! NO PHONE CALL. Called again two days later only to find out that they had no intention of fixing anything on the car and had other people test driving a car that had a fuel pump ready to go at any second which leaves you stranded. Once again promised a call later. NO CALL. Lying is nothing but a second nature to these people and in fact could care less about your safety or putting a quality product on the line. If you go there were tall boots cause the poop rises fast as the mouth moves.
Great and patient service, good deals on many cars to choose

My initial visit started over a month ago, as I visited dealer after dealer to view inventory, add or subtract potential cars from my short list, purchase CarFax reports on those making my list and working the list down to 3 cars from different dealerships.
Now used cars are just that, USED. So, you have to put in the work to make sure you're selecting the right choice. In the end, for me I had a dead heat TIE between a car at Guarantee Auto Maxx and another dealer. In the end, my choice was Guarantee Auto Maxx.
I chose them because after speaking to everyone at the dealership, I felt no pressure, but I felt they were trying to help me. Now remember-Anything can go wrong with a used car no matter who you buy your car from. But I felt these guys would stand behind their word, the best they reasonably could. And they did stand behind their word. I'm still waiting for my plates and my 30 day tags are running out soon, but I'm confident in these guys.
I got a good car, at a fair price, on terms I negotiated. The owner is an honorable man, the staff is professional, and they have a good selection. And I didn't spend hours and hours sitting in their dealership either. I highly recommend them to others for consideration in buying your next car. But here's the real test. I'm going back to buy another vehicle (a work truck) from them in a few months after I get my tax refund.
BTW-They give you a free vehicle history repor on each vehicle to make your due diligence easier. Hope this helps someone!

Went to look at a vehicle that was advertised with sunroof and remote start on carguru.
Those options weren't on the car. Drove pretty far to look at it. Very disappointing!
Do not buy cars there this is the worst place to buy a car I buy one there and I got very bad the car had many bad defects they just lie telling you that their cars are in good condition that is a big lie...
They are horrible people one of they re customers hit my car with their loaner vehicle and they won t give me they re insurance name or number
