Went there in April with two kids (6 and 3). It had just reopened for the season. Arrived around 11AM and there wasn't a lot of people. Experience is amazing. Need to go back seeing the people make the tiles. Cut the trees. Build the structures and everything by hand. No power tools. Only people and horses. A brilliant and educative process.

Great visit worth the detour. On the other hand, there is no point in ordering a packed lunch in advance. Three quarters of an hour of waiting and it took this serious annoyance to have someone decide to prepare our tray in less than five minutes when everything was ready.

A very beautiful day spent on the medieval site,! We went with the children who were very happy. Begun just under 25 years ago, the castle is well advanced. All the trades are explained there by passionate craftsmen. It is a real pleasure to discover all the medieval techniques and to browse the rooms and fortifications of a "new" medieval fortified castle.
