Very nice place and staff very welcoming and friendly with children
A unique place of its kind after having had the explanations of the various craftsmen building the castle. A lot of detail is immediately obvious when visiting the interior. A place that I recommend whether with friends or family. A very pleasant day thanks to a very warm welcome.
Second visit (after 7 years) and really surprised by the progress of the construction.
Visit and attractive site, welcome except for the restoration the breadboard very long waiting to order the opening, service inefficient and land in the salad
I've visited this place a few years ago and really enjoyed it!
Very good idea !!!!
Super interesting, we can discuss with the artisans who inform us willingly.
A must see !!!!!
A timeless place, where trades such as blacksmiths, carpenters, dyers, stonemasons, masons, millers (...) build and live this beautiful medieval site in the heart of the river Yonne in a few kilometers from the More
Good choice of material technique

Arrive early because of the heat and definitely have something to drink with you. Take a look at everything and then join the guided tour. A great place for castle enthusiasts. Take something to eat with you, the food is bad and you wait forever!
Place that deserves a visit. For lovers of old castles
Chateau under construction since 1997 if I am not mistaken using medieval techniques
Several workshops are offered: blacksmiths, stonemasons, carpenters ...
the castle is not yet finished but that's what is rather nice, we can go back several years later to see the evolution
We have the impression of being 800 years ago, it's really beautiful
Return after four years and do not want to wait so long to return a third time!
That courage is needed for these men and women. Sincere congratulations for this beautiful work.
Very interesting to see how they worked at that time and their inventions
I did not like. Guide in a hurry to finish, restaurant bad at prices of madness. In short, a shame because the idea is good.
A captivating visit. A clear and concise guide. A nice place. The strong desire to come back when the castle will be completed.
Too beautiful .... to see ... I recommend .... not disappointed .... in your eyes ....
Visit too expensive for what you have visited. However good family walk
Faith is said to move mountains, but it also builds castles because one had to have faith to embark on such an adventure. Even though the project took on the dimension of a company, it did not lose its soul. The place More
Unique reconstruction of a medieval castle. Very interesting and vivid.
Very good experience very interesting as visit with the children the craftsmen answer all the questions of children and adults which makes the visit very pleasant and informative attention however there is no network for the mobile so I advise you if you book your tickets in advance to print them or save them to your mobile
Superb place where you can see the artisans working and understand how a medieval castle is built.
An extraordinary place that deserves to be much better known. Go there and in addition there is a free electric charging socket!
A very rewarding place to share, you want to put your package there for a longer time.
A place where you take your time and in today's world, it is priceless.
So much work to create this gem.
The site is accessible with a large free parking lot.
Admission is payable for a reasonable price, especially if you can take advantage of one of the many discounts offered.
The trades are presented by clear, funny and patient speakers.
Only the mill left us on our questions, "the miller" was not to be in his best light.
In short, it's a wonderful family outing that will leave you with lovely memories.
Great initiative that has created 70 jobs, salaried artisans live off the price of visits because there are no state subsidies ...
Amazing site!
This is my 3rd visit and always amazed by this castle under construction and the various workshops around the site. I recommend with children, story that they leave their eyes off their tablets ...
Interesting visit. Provides a better understanding of construction techniques.
Congratulations to all those who contribute to the reconstruction of the castle, the work is huge.
Great place to visit to immerse yourself in our history of the Middle Ages. You can visit the fortified castle, see the blacksmith, the stonemason, the manufacture of tiles, the dyer etc ... and all this with the tools of yesteryear. The splendid water mill too. In short, a good day to spend in the past and realize the intelligence of the inventors of the time.
Nice idea that the construction of this castle, place where spend a beautiful day, however take your picnic because too much waiting for the Restoration
Very nice to see how this castle is built from the ground up without modern means.
Very interesting visit very interesting visit of the castle and the surroundings. The concept is just great!
Really fascinating visit, very clear and numerous educational explanations. I particularly recommend the workshop of the stonemason
In its beautiful reconstructions and its medieval atmosphere, the visit is quite nice BUT the restorations offered are dismal. A stressful self-service poorly organized without forgetting the lack of clarity of the More
Superb interesting for both children and adults. But you have to remember to take your picnic because too much waiting in the two restaurant outlets on site for more than an hour for us ... and when we are hungry it is long.
And the prices put off a little
Two-entry expenses included 140euros
We did the tour guide with Louis it was great with humor and a lot of attention we travel in time
Very interesting. You can go back there regularly. Very informative. Great for children.
The medieval era is awakening and, like hardworking ants, they slowly build a fortified castle using exclusively the tools of the time and the materials available around the place. Rich in history with a fun welcome and rich in teaching on many subjects ...
