Despite all this titanic work, I still love the village organized around the castle which gives us a lot of information about work carried out according to old techniques (grain mill, tailor on wood, blacksmith, baker, dyes on clothes with natural dyes, making bricks, old-fashioned tiles, stonecutter etc ... It is very informative and very well organized. We stayed there for 5 hours with family and in the company of our children from 4, 6 and 8 years old.

Amazing to build a castle that becomes more and more beautiful

Craftsman are building a medieval castle by hand, using only medieval techniques. You can walk around in the castle while it is being built. The terrain is quite large, with a lot of craftman houses. So you can see the stonecutter and carpenter at work and ask them questions about their craft. I highly recommend it.

A good proof that "madness" can lead to beautiful things. It's a great challenge and as one person working on the site said: "It's during construction that you have to go, live the experience with the atmosphere, afterwards, it will just be a castle ...". It s another world to see these professionals working the old fashioned way, exciting, to see.
