A beautiful natural site respected! People engaged in a beautiful project in respect of traditions. I will come back to follow the evolution

The work has progressed well. Very playful. Lots of explanation from the workers. Plan a day in order to have time to visit everything.

Very interesting, many beautiful achievements, but I found a building site at "rest" lack of staff? Finance? 3 stonecutters, 2 blacksmiths. No carpenters, staff to welcome tourists. Visit half shade for me.

We go there every 3 years. It's always very nice to see the work of all these craftsmen

Go see for yourself. All crafts are explained that are needed to build a castle. Perfect. The alchemical spectacle is a MUST.

Great place really I advice and the restaurant inside the site is cheap and very very very very rich with traditional dish and local products I really do not regret! To even say I would go back !!!!!

Absolutely extraordinary! A brilliant concept capable of satisfying both the ignorant and the scientist, the grandfather and his granddaughter. You will find the quality / price ratio excellent if you remember the price of a cinema ticket and if you did not come to seek Disneyland entertainment.

Magnificent castle under construction with the methods of the time, by passionate employees and volunteers. Lack just some explanatory panels because at the end of the day the workers have less energy to explain what they are doing and we would like to have things to read to get our answers.

Unique in the world nowadays to even participate in a trip from another era.
Wonderful to live this experience :))

The animators are welcoming, The guided tour is a pleasure. We discover without being bored.

If going definitely take the English tour, we missed it so was a very expensive day not understanding a lot.

A magnificent experience to discover how a fortified castle was built. Then wait at least 3 to 4 years to revisit it.

Super interesting site. I visited the site ten years ago. The progress of the work is surprisingly rapid given the tools used. A captivating guide and a meal served by the caterer le Moulin de Corneil made this day a great time.

The construction of the castle is a real pleasure to admire. The craftsmen on site are very readily available and I would like to congratulate them on their historical research so that there is as little anachronism as possible. Thanks to the guides for their passion and the on-site catering is good with the bread made with the flour from the mill. You are berserk and I thank you.

Being immersed in the Middle Ages is great! the children loved it and the midday meal taken in one of the two restaurants was famous. To have !

A word of advice: take the guided tour

They build a castle! Impressive! Workshops everywhere. Great tour for the kids. Just a criticism over sandwiches after a half hour wait. Better to bring a picnic.

Fantastic place that allows us to immerse ourselves in the castles and their universe. Catering top quality and super good, lots of picnic locations.

Nice destination! We especially enjoyed the alchemy demonstration. English speaking staff! Unfortunately the mill was closed, so one point was deducted!

A superb place where we go back in time .. we attend the construction of the castle with the methods of formerly .. the builders take time to explain everything to us .. we spend really good time ..

Amazing place to see a medieval fortress under construction using the tools and methods of the era. You can even have a meal with recipes from the time as well.

And again i visited old castle the still ongoing at the moment. This place, you will know how they built the castle and how they craft the stones in order to build a castle!

Beautiful medieval site very authentic and pleasant to visit. Pleasant walk in the forest to the mill to discover nice and funny anecdotes told by one of the employees of the yard.

Amazing place to visit. It takes you back in time in the 13th century. It's great to see in the 21st century a medieval construction made without modern tools nor techniques. It is also very instructive place for the kids, the guides and workers are kind, friendly and answering all your questions. There is also a restaurant in place with kind personal and simple but good food and snacks.
