Always very interesting. I go there pretty much every 3 years.

Outside of the construction visit, it is very interesting to see the exceptional work of the craftsmen.

I saw the beginning of the castle I come back 15 years later I am amazed to see the progress. Respect to all these passionate people for this wonder

A site to visit, the explanations of artisans are at the top and the castle is very nice to visit

Visit of the Guedelon castle very pleasant, I really enjoyed the construction of this medieval castle has advanced a lot since my last visit in 2006.

Great site to visit. You meet passionate people from the Middle Ages whether it is the stonemason the blacksmith the miller the carpenter ... We spent 4 hours and the children and we did not see the time pass.
You can bring your picnic there are tables inside and covered.

All the work is done in the old style and all the trades, good work and very pretty to see.

Nice initiative, construction is progressing. Minimum service this Sunday, little explanation for each workshop. Mandatory guided tour.

Superb visit, full of history, a work of titan, to see absolutely

Having known the beginnings and all the stages of Guedelon, the place knew how to keep its playful and lively spirit despite the big advances of the site, always a pleasure to go there!

Nice little attraction. I imagined more of a castle where a handful of volunteers are active, working tirelessly and little means, and where very few people come for a walk in a place a little hostile to tourism ... But nay! The place is well organized: organized car parks welcome you, then you enter a territory that offers a visit to a mini village of medieval craftsmen (with demonstrations, please), a castle under construction in discover, but also a place of snacks and a friendly shop.
For information, our visit lasted 3 hours, including lunch.

The guide with the tattoo in the blow and with glasses badly explained us and made quickly are work, without saying that the castle is not of time and dates from 1996,
And that it was an almost identical reconstruction project of the time, I was a stranger and I had understood nothing.
In addition, she should perform theatrical training to have more enthusiasm and voice and to fascinate people more.
The site is pleasant to visit and the builders want to share unlike the guides.

Extraordinary, both for parents who are aware of participating in a historic building site, and for children with adapted educational workshops. Workers and guides pass on their passion. A little wait to restore, surely the ransom of success. Highly the inauguration (planned in 2025) !!

Just go here! You won t regret it! Always wanted to see how a castle was build back in those days. And now we can!

Very interesting visit. Companions taking the time to explain their work. Lunch break at a reasonable price. A remake in 2 years to see the progress of various restorations.

Oh man like it here! Dive into a forgotten, old time where everything was build without electricity, just with your own hand. Every time you return you can see castle is growing... awesome place

What to say .... It is a beautiful place and a grandiose project. The guides and the workers of the castle are very kind and open to the conversation to explain their work. It's really interesting, accessible to all, and it's to see at least once. Do not hesitate to go there!
It is sad to have seen in such a colossal and passionate place that people with very limited IQ have damaged some walls by engraving inscriptions. It is deplorable and disrespectful.

My son of 7 years especially adored the activities, the games of the Middle Ages

A must see ! We learn a lot from all these Enthusiasts, it's very rewarding.

What a beautiful and alive place !! Really great. Large parking in front. All to picnic or eat at the restaurant ... Activities everywhere. Beautiful animals ... I recommend, especially with the family.

Hay of "scientific committee" or "volunteers" "is a crowded and very expensive private domain (check the prices on the internet before coming, knowing that it is even more expensive on site).

Must-see place! Big open space with lots of things to see aside from the amazing castle. The castle is being built as in medieval times, all manual. Workers show you how at the different stations. You see the castle being built 1st hand. Very enjoyable. Perfect for a family day out. Today was particularly crowded and hard to find a place on the car park even though it s quite a big one. The owner are fans of castle and own several in the area. Check them out too!

It is really very original, interesting and informative.

Great place, plan good shoes no damage. only flat food, sometimes it takes a long time to get to the end of the tail. But the castle makes up for that!
