Great, this is really worth a visit. I already visited the project at the beginning of the construction period. I was impressed with what has become of it now.
Very friendly staff, interesting historical experience. Poor organization of food outlets, toilets (dry toilets which are simply open-air pits)
Remember to book the activities for children, we did the 3 that are offered, the little one loved it and the animators are really top
To park is a nightmare: by free gong does not have the capacity of the park, knowing that the latter is only accessible by car: come very early

A place of culture on the construction of buildings in the Middle Ages with the means of the time. I already went there ten years ago and we can see that it is a great challenge. It is just a shame that the catering is no longer up to the level of the rest of the park: a lot of waiting for sparsely stocked trays and there is as much waiting for a coffee as one takes at a machine at the same time. the queue of trays. It's a bit annoying on this point because it spoils part of the day. To do again but with my picnic.

Extraordinary site of a castle as in the Middle Ages, with the same tools and techniques. The craftsmen willingly lend themselves to the game of questions and involve the volunteers. Several picnic spots are planned as well as a place of restoration. Admission is 14 euros for adults. Ideal for a family outing.

If you want to see how a castle was built in the Middle Ages or are interested in it, this is a must.
Even without a tour, you have to plan at least six hours to explore the area.
Unfortunately, we couldn't visit the mill, which was a shame.

Even after a 3rd visit in 10 years, I am still impressed by the techniques used to realize this building. The craftsmanship is very great. You do get to know and appreciate the material.

Too bad they no longer do guided tours with the covid, it was THE most wonderful thing.
