Magnificent site. ... can't wait to go back once done

Despite the heatwave, we had a great time. The various craftsmen are very available and gladly answer our questions, the setting is magnificent. We attended the little magic show which was very nice. For lovers of medieval times I recommend it, and for families too! I hope to be able to return to see the progress of the project

This place is not full of stories, it concretely explains the life of yesteryear (construction, materials, architecture, trades and the life of men of medieval times) very interesting for young and old

This place is really good, it's nice to discover the trades of the past without technology! And what they did in 22 years is very well done. Places to visit without any hesitation!

It is a fantastic operation, the one who had this idea: hat !!!! Because it must be done, working on the method of the 13th century was certainly very hard for volunteers. The methods are different, the tools are limited, and therefore, it is worth for the manufacturers to change all the habits. Ex: for wood, the work is done by ax, hatchet, chisel ... the saw, it was very rare because the steel was very difficult to find. See, make a door or door frame with the ax !!!!
It's very nice work and I find the resutat fabulous. It's absolutely to be seen, but beware, there is a period when it's closed (I think it starts in October)

The castle of Guedelon is breathtaking: a wonder built as in the Middle Ages with men and women who build it all with their hands ... it is a must visit.

Very nice place to visit. Visit feasible with child (strollers can pass except in the castle but remember to take an all-terrain vehicle! ^^).
On the other hand, the alchemy show does not have enough space or enough niche for all visitors to do so, especially during peak periods.

A nice and interesting visit. We arrived in the late season so it was not that bad in terms of crowds. In contrast, only French tours were available. You can of course walk around independently but the employees also only speak French, so that no explanation could be given in another language. Furthermore, you can watch your eyes and you will understand what the blacksmith, the carpenter, the gardener, the bricklayer, etc. are doing. Especially after 2 hours there is a lot of activity. Well worth it. Also nice to go with children.

Medieval castle quite rare but too expensive in my opinion (14 ) for what there is to see.
So much interest in this type of place and this time can be nice to chat with employees

A great trip in the past for young and old where we learn a lot of things. Ideal to spend a day

Visited early June 2018. Frankly, with 5 weeks of travel through 5 countries, this was the most memorable experience, better than all the old castles put together, and all the over-crowded expensive tourist traps. We could have spent a week here watching the craftsmen and learning fantastic lessons from the 13th century. Absolutely should not be missed. The perfect visit would be soon before it becomes too completed. I don't know where else on earth anything like this could be experienced!

The animator on the different trades discussed that between them! Without worrying about the visitors except the masons and couriers who they were very friendly and involved with us!

The animations for the children are all paying! Despite an expensive entry ...

We were very disappointed there is nothing special to see entry too expensive to see the minimum not frankly very very very disappointed I saw much better and cheaper with the show

Building like in the Middle Ages ... a great project

Site almost deserted, Disneyland atmosphere in slow motion. I have been waiting for this visit for 15 years to be quite disappointed in the end. I don't know if it's the Covid, summer vacation or whatever, but I expected more action and interaction.

A place where you really have to go .. everything is redone at the time due to the castle .. brave people..plein small workshops for children and adults .. we really enjoyed this place ..

The construction of the castle is well advanced ... Good explanation from the people who work there ... Bravo ...

Great visit. Very educational. Very nice workers. This is my third and always interesting visit.

We would have liked to go out to get our little food left in our car and then go back to the park but ..... nobody to inform us and tell us if possible or not so unfortunately as our little children were hungry and without Reliable information from invisible employees we had to go out for picnic and ..... not to go back when our visit was over. LACK OF INFORMATION

Very good experience very interesting as visit with the children the craftsmen answer all the questions of children and adults which makes the visit very pleasant and informative attention however there is no network for the mobile so I advise you if you book your tickets in advance to print them or save them to your mobile

Very informative, the price is affordable for the visit of the castle under construction since 1996 and the stands to discover it.

Beautiful tourist traps, the concept and nice but not the commercial, 14th entry spades, and catering ... Alala there is 1 guy for 30 people who queued, it's really expensive for what c is, and my god what it is bad ... The prices are not indicated nor the products in window ... Short picnic obligatory. The original concept did not tell the whole story, the quality of the constructions is not over.

Incredible what is already achieved.
Had a hard time making our way through Ascension Day inside the Chateau but it's a magical place.

Superb site full of interesting workshops to discover

The price of tickets for a family is becoming expensive, I enjoy coming back regularly to see the evolution, but I think that my next visit will be well studied.
Apart from that the site is pleasant, the explanations and demonstrations very clear.

Very good idea, good learning, but the slightly slow guided tour not necessarily lively intended more for adults than adolescents or children

This is very overrated. Bokrijk in miniature. Maybe nice with small children, but otherwise not recommended

Very good visit at our pace.
I just removed a star because too many people just to drink a huge queue.
And in 2nd thing you should maybe put 1 or 2 carriage to 3/4 per passage to access the mill because the way a little long we did not want.

It was a very welcoming place and very enriching history. The whole family learned a lot today.

Top activity! From what I understood by volunteers, they take the time to clearly explain what they are doing and this is very appreciable. The castle still under construction is still beautiful. Lots of activities for children (including the fun workshop). On the other hand, beware if it rains because it is red earth so suitable boots and pants will be in force !!

A "must" for medieval fans! In the rain you do not need gumboots, but a bit more robust and insensitive footwear is appropriate. For motorhomes it is advisable to arrive in time. Definitely note the opening hours just in the postseason! We were about 4 hours on site, but you can also spend more time there!

One complaint: the quality of the restoration. Otherwise it is a visit to be in his priorities.

Medieval park of exception to spend a day with the family, all the trades of other times are represented a very big pedagogical day awaits you. Only negative point the restoration on the spot is an expensive one.
