I went there urgently for my cat who had a urinary problem ...... I received very vague explanations .... These pt a bacteria, a stone, a cancer ... These pt serious pt banal. ..... you are ready to go to where the money level ??? I paid for a urine test I paid for a urine culture ... These like a puzzle they say each piece teaches us more so being vulnerable and well you pay .... i paid for a full blood test which only found out that he had mild anemia but nothing more about the urinary problem .... i paid for antibiotics food for the kidneys medication for the pain and finally it ended in euthanasia because my cat was in pain without even knowing really what he really had .... its cost me the eyes of the head .... I have already done business in other clinic where my animal also died and I had been treated with logic and not to make cash

He refused to take my kitten who has two side breaks and blood in the belly crisis of dirty money the money passes before the life of a crying animal of heart sense
Yesterday, I had to go urgently to d'Aubigny because my cat was in respiratory distress. 2 weeks ago I had her operated on and was told that her breathing was weak but that it was normal if the cat had experienced stress at birth. When I arrived they took me urgently and explained the choices available to me. The only way to know what she had was to start with a radio. $ 400 radio to tell me that she has had heart disease since birth and has water in her lungs and it's very advanced. They tell me that I can take her home with 3 kinds of medication and that she would have a lower quality of life, that her heart can fail anytime with a life expectancy of less than a year. She could have a clot at any time and in order not to suffer, I opted for euthanasia ... They did not go up to advise of the prices that it covered and they gave her injections. I lost my little cat and paid up to $ 800 for fees some people didn't know about. In addition, while I was mourning in a room, I could hear assistants laughing loudly and talking about their weekend no professionalism. I am thinking of making a complaint to the Order of Veterinarians of Quebec !! Worst night of my life.
Incredible disappointment !! At this location, you have to pay to hear the Veterinarian speak !!! The prices are astromimous and the pressure on good judgment ... there are! During the exam, he always put a doubt on "maybe" would be better to do this or that. In short, this hospital has all the diagnostic tools that an ordinary veterinarian does not have in his possession and he uses it cheerfully. Ultrasound, radio and all the hassles to finish with a $ 1000 bill. WARNING !!! They make you sign a submission at the start of treatment with a maximum amount not to be exceeded ... for my part, no respect ... they have exceeded the costs of $ 150 (acc of drug prescriptions). Still at this stage Daubigny charges $ 15 of the prescription in fees! For my part, I had 3 drugs so $ 45 more than my veterinarian. Shame to say this, but unless there is a major emergency ... I do not recommend this place because Mr. Not everyone can afford treatment at this place ...
Thanks to all the team that took care of Peggy, our little dachshund, during his surgery (herniated disc). Dr. Brebner, who operated on Peggy, was very professional and reassuring. He took the time to explain the procedure and answer our many questions and concerns throughout the process. All of the staff we met during our visits were very kind and dedicated. We feel their love for animals. Peggy is now doing well thanks to you all. Continue your exceptional work!
$ 220 to tell me to spend $ 2600 to have a diagnosis ... and that I would have to leave my cat a night at $ 130 to be charged again the next day $ 160 for a consultation with a specialist ... that the exam that can More
We had our cat Pistachio operated on a few weeks ago for a megacolon. A big THANK YOU to the whole team and to Dr. Berraud. You have answered all our questions very well and your team has shown great professionalism, since then our cat has been doing very well and has resumed its normal life :)
Far too expensive for the service we received. Given the circumstances, we had no choice, but I sincerely believe that they abused the situation. I was very disappointed with the service ....
I consulted for my kitten who no longer ate and did not go sealed. He was amorphous. Tell me he must take a radio because she thinks he has an object stuck in the little stomach: $ 200. Following the radio, she tells me that it takes surgery at $ 3,800 + emergency fee (it was December 31) plus convalescence costs $$$$ or euthanasia. Unable to put such a sum and not wanting to euthanize her, I ask for an alternative .. 2 drugs that gives me telling me that there was very little chance that it works. Well ... 3 days after, kitten goes to the seal and started feeding again !! $ 350 instead of 3,800.00 plus all the costs !! Think big $$$$$ and not animals!
I called at 6.30am, at 7am I was in the triage room with my cat. Just enough time to make me a coffee and the vet called me. At 9 a.m., I left with my cat and the drugs under my arm.
It is certain that the services are expensive, but if we left the hospital with an invoice for the acts that were performed during our hospitalization, we would be more aware of the health costs. That said, the vet was transparent and detailed the possible costs before letting me make a decision without pressure.
on the evening of June 22, we had to euthanize our Loulou (Homer). The staff was so nice! The Veterinary was incredibly delicate they respected us in our decision and our sentence Super team thank you girls Luce tanguay
The fees are exorbitant. Incredibly expensive. Tip: If you want to save hundreds of dollars, this is a place to go as a last resort only, when all other options have been exhausted.
$ 176 for an emergency appointment, with no additional costs for medication and the like. Love animals or rather your wallet? It s taking advantage of people's anguish to fill your pockets. Yes, a business is a business and it takes money to run the hospital. But sacrament that it is insulting.
They are bandits. The fees are exorbitant, the costs are poorly explained and my pet was not getting better out of there. They have never been able to target what was wrong. I went there for an emergency consultation. As soon as my usual veterinarian opened, I went to see him and he was able to solve the problem. However, because of the incompetence of Daubigny staff, the condition of my pet has worsened while if the staff had been able to treat it properly from the start, the consequences for the health of my pet would have been less dramatic.
My dog Dachshund is showing symptoms of a herniated disc, I got an appointment for surgery very quickly, to have a clear diagnosis and above all I needed to receive a precise plan of the next steps to be followed and the associated costs. I can now make an informed decision for my dog. I received a very high quality diagnostic service from the beginning to the end of my stay in the clinic. All my questions (and there were many) were answered, I had clear and above all very professional answers. We talk a lot about costs in the opinions, but it is specialized medicine so it is normal that it is high $! It is not for nothing that the Human Health budget in Quebec is 50% of public finances ...
Zero stars! A little advice if you have an animal, NEVER set foot in the Daubigny hospital !!!
Worst service ever for my cat who is clearly not doing well ... she is blinded to difficulty standing and walking, circling to her left. Clearly the neurological system is severely affected.
A marble vet unable to give me a clear diagnosis other than telling me she wanted to keep her in intensive care just in case.
After a full blood test I get some tidbits of information that she might have cancer, when an animal goes around in circles the neurological side is affected.
She tells me I AM IN THE NIL like YOU, you know you have to do exams like an ultrasound, so I ask her what is she looking for with this exam? She responds because I want to know if her stomach hurts or it's just because she doesn't like that I touch her.
Pastelle always wanted to eat the vets !! She then told me that on Monday we would have to bring her urgently to St-Hyacinthe to see the neurologist give her scans, x-rays, etc.
Fine to do all your exams but the question is there any chance of survival?!? Well not really there is not much to do when the neurological side is affected, so why would I do all of his exams at high cost for NOTHING?!?
The only thing he offered me yesterday was to put her on a drip IN CASE !!
So I brought my cat home with a big anxiety attack, we slept in and out and I'm going to try and find a vet with more heart than just his wallet.
Thank you to the Anima Plus Clinic for being human and present for Pastelle.
The prices to look after my cat was put at $ 130 instead of $ 58. I have the price revised, not even an excuse. Lack of respect towards the client who is at the end of his animal. The technician laughed, very disappointing.Place avoided!
Nothing to blame on the service of this 24 hour clinic which allowed me to induce vomiting at 11 pm, my little dog who had swallowed 4x the dose of medication prescribed in a capsule that I had to separate into 4. I was able to call them and introduce myself in night emergency and despite that we were several 6-7 customer the delays were very reasonable, The staff is very polite and professional, we knew how to treat and manage Buddy. THE price was Expensive yes $ 260 for an examination and vomiting but the Service was. And a 24/24 quality service, well it is paid So here if you have an emergency do not feel bad to go with your animal, it would be good to treat but prepare you for a big bill !!!
The 3 stars is for being told on the phone by the Cimon Technician at my usual clinic that I could have made him vomit ak a small amount of peroxide, It is sure that the solution to bring it and having it done by professionals was less risky and safer but also more profitable ...
Three emergency visits and one in orthopedics. Excellent service and very competent! It is more expensive than a regular clinic, but considering that it is open 24/7 and that there is almost every specialist needs, I think it is reasonable. It's reassuring to have this service nearby in case of emergency!
Horrible experience. With an old cat who was no longer eating and could not move without pain, they had several tests, kept him overnight. After all of that, they had no idea what he had and wanted to keep him one more night and obviously do some more testing to put the price on the bill. With a bill of $ 1200, I decided not to leave him another night and bring him home to be well in his last moments. They gave me some medicine that might help.
When I leave with my cat, the veterinarian comes running before I go out to find out about something: "We noticed that your cat has mittens in his ears, we would have to add some medicine for that. than for the other cat at home of course. " Serious? What a lack of judgment, it is so the least of my worries.
In the end, the drugs corrected the problem and gave my cat energy, allowing her to regain her health. So what cost $ 1200 could have cost a lot less.
To conclude, they are certainly competent, but they really like to do tests and want to keep the animals in surveillance for nothing. The customer and the animal is definitely not their priority.
The covid ends. They affect our animals that we have touched but we have to wait outside. We take our animals or medication from the hands of their staff without being disinfected. Why we can't come in. The dentist can play me in the face but I can not even see the vet that I pay at a high price. Is it because the young people who work for him are afraid of vat.
My dog had a herniated disc, we were on vacation in Quebec, so the prescription was transferred to this clinic, the price of the drug 8 x higher than our usual clinic. It's disappointing !
They killed our Bengal cat by professional negligence! Astronomical price because at the beginning he said 1800 then after 4000 cetais. Attitude to make money only! We were threatened to let her die if we did not give our credit card number by phone when her vital signs were degrading. Incompetent with a doctor who comes out of the university who gets higher than the hole and looks really profiteer and have only for our money and not the good of our animal
August 14, 2020 arrived at 12:25 pm! 1 sorting! Another triage! 5.30 p.m. still pending! Finally meeting with veterinarian around 5:40 pm! The veterinarian's recommendation starts at $ 1 sample not complete enough! So must do the same sample but more complete $$$ with all the treatments would exceed 1500.00 without counting the 500.00 already spent for the meeting and medications without guaranteeing the result! via our resistance to all this! It all comes back to A more reasonable $ medication for 5 days starting at 9:20 p.m. to finally arrive at the euthanasia of our animal if the medication does not work! All this for a urinary problem! P-S I do not but the competence and the professionalist of the personnel involved! Just the monetary side of it all! Euthanasia the next day, but there quickly passed 5 minutes of waiting and a bill of nearly $ 200.00!
Twice I call for info when I'm in a panic (a little nonsense) and they answer me super well and professionally without trying to sell me their services or anything. In my opinion, they care about the welfare of animals. I recommend !
Thank you to you on this Friday evening 10:15 pm ... Or September 21! You know how to say it with my little dog treasure Theo ... This is the fun of his life! I felt devastated and heartbroken but you were most empathetic to me ...
Thank you and take good care of my best friend's body Theo xxx
We arrived with a cat in bad shape and she got us back in shape after a night in the hospital. The people took very good care of our animal. She was taken care of quickly and she was treated super well. However, they are cold about money, it is expensive and confusing for people used to free care. One little more time to think about what treatments would have been appreciated. Since we don't know what she had, we had lots of tests done.
Expensive, yes, but thanks to the rapid intervention of the surgeon in the middle of the night, they saved the life of my ten-year-old dog who was suffering from a gastric torsion, commonly called stomach upset. Thank you.
Convenient emergency service. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Very kind staff. It would be useful to have a small space reserved for cats in the waiting room. Yes, it costs more than a regular clinic, but you have to take into account the size of the clinic and the fact that it is an emergency service. The vet explained to me what was available to me and let me choose without pressure and without scaring me and he made sure that I understood the risks for my cat. I decided to give my review because I had heard a lot of negative reviews and was hesitant to introduce myself. Finally, in case of emergency, I go back without hesitation!
Very bad experience at the Daubigny veterinary hospital where I went with my dying cat. Proposal for a $ 200 blood test, which I waited for more than 2 hours for the result, when my cat was already in a coma, I was again offered to keep him to give him a blood transfusion. So I opted for euthanasia, he was 15 years old. To remake my cat would have died at home. I call it taking advantage of people's pain. NEVER AGAIN IN THIS HOSPITAL. Invoice (# 655767) total $ 603.62. Scam! ... Vet: Dr Quentin Guyennnot
My partner and I were very disappointed because our animal suffered for several hours
$ 275 to do that say that my cat was not good (well yes, guess why I came!) And they did not know before doing tests, which would have cost an exorbitant, without knowing if will find something. Please, avoid this clinic at all costs, unless you are ready to burn your hard earned money in the void. Big waste of time and money.
It is so difficult when our beloved animal gets sick. We become very emotional and we must not forget that a veterinarian has fees to pay and this hospital has state-of-the-art equipment and trained medical specialists around the world. Personally, they saved my cat's life. I came out with a salty bill but they respected my ability to pay by offering me a more economical Plan B. My cat was hospitalized for problems with the pancreas and the intestine. The care provided was perhaps exaggerated according to some, but 2 years later I am sure that is what saved him! In addition, it offers payment 6 months without interest ... a nice alternative anyway!
Very welcoming service, and very respectful staff but the prices are totally exorbitant. $ 140 for a consultation of less than 5 minutes without any response while the cat was dying. A total foutage of mouth.
Yes the costs are exorbitant, but I firmly believe that I received a service that was worth it! I had to have my cat urgently operated on, weekend, night, 3 days of observations, total of $ 6,000. But the service was great, so was the follow-up. I have received many calls for news, and each time I called to have them they took all the time necessary to reassure me. I was explained each procedure and its necessity, and I felt understood, supported, throughout this adventure. Thanks to the whole team !
I had super good service from A to Z. My dog was showing signs of herniated disc, I was explained very well the situation and my options. They sold me nothing that I didn't want. In addition, 4 days later they called me to find out how my dog was and if his condition had improved. Very satisfied.
During the euthanasia of our little Tamy on October 29, between 10:30 and 11:00, we unfortunately did not remember the name of the man who took care of us. This man has shown a very good judgment in bringing Tamy back to us before the tranquilizer takes effect, so that she is in our arms to reassure her and live her last moments. Thank you very much, dear sir, we will thank you all our lives.
Money factory, to flee like the plague! In my opinion investors are only seeking to amortize their investment of $ 10M as quickly as possible and then make the most of it. They have forgotten the ethics and the very meaning of their profession. My experience: Visit to the clinic for an emergency at night, we are advised by the veterinarian to do an X-ray to observe the organs, then she explains after this one that a radio is useful for the bones but that it does not allow to observe the organs clearly. What she knew very well before we offered it. But after all, we are cash cows and why would it deprive us of taking a few hundred dollars more? After having stolen $ 300, she advises us to come back on weekdays to do an ultrasound that will be more useful and allow us to see the organs unlike a radio. Why not have it before us? In short, we did not get much more information, we left without explanation about the harm of our dog, or even any advice to relieve it and allowing us to sleep quietly before seeing our vet (d a much better clinic) the next day, and it cost us $ 300 + taxes. It is not a question of money, we are well aware of the various and varied costs that our loulous may need for their health. We have the means it is not the question. It is only a matter of principle, I find it abominable to play the distress of the masters and their anxiety to make money. First and last visit!
Never seen ! Very very bad experience! I absolutely do not recommend this clinic. I have had many experiences with veterinarians for large and small animals and many survivors and I have never seen such errors ... The first and not the least: drug overdose with antibiotics 4 times the dose. The second: estimate at more than $ 2700 for a tail docking in cats without any previous radio but with dozens of excessively expensive superfluous procedures. Cost of a sedation of the cat of 5Kg = cost of 4 sedations of a horse of 460Kg ... Find the error ... If your animal is in danger go there for the minimum in emergency if not to prefer a small veterinarian of unpretentious neighborhood! It is really not helping or loving animals to practice such prices, under these conditions few are those who will travel and even less to spend as much! Very sad for them :(
Very bad service. Will make you wait hours even to simply pick up your dog without even having to meet with the vet. Go fishing with their various investigations without really being able to say the diagnoses they are looking for ... Very disappointed ... to avoid ... change region and drive 2 hours will save you time for you and your animal
THE MOST DISHONEST AND UNCONSCIOUS VETERINARIES I HAVE NEVER SEEN ... They made me believe that my cat needed surgery otherwise his life depended on it .. I consulted another veterinarian who said that my cat was in perfect health ... Veterinary Hospital Daubigny only wanted to make $ 2300 on my back .. But I did not have the sum and I spent close to euthanize my cat for no reason .. It's disgusting !!!
A star is still too much for people like that !!! Even if you have an emergency, do not go there! Veterinarian of incompetence never seen! All they want is your money. There are puppy mills but also factories has money, here is one!
The staff ignore our opinion and only want to make cash. They put my dog in a room for half an hour without taking care of him and gave it to me saying that they could only cut his claws with one paw. You don't need $ 32. Pr cut the claws of the other 3 legs you have to fall asleep and anesthesia etc. Hey my dog is not sick, I want him to cut the claws, were returned at $ 864,
Competent staff, the surgeons are doing a good job. I'm not sure for the first step of its effectiveness, the dog had to be operated anyway even if there was little chance that the hat worked, however it did not seem ideal for the immobilization of the location fracture. For emergency it is ideal, especially if you are anxious. But beware of the list of basic treatments, not all accepted, blood test not necessary during a shock / accident. X-ray and drug costs are more expensive than elsewhere. However, I did not go shopping for a second review once I stayed there. In the end, by asking the prescription to the pharmacist you may have saved a little. For a radio probably a 40th of a $. The visit also includes the place / equipment / specialist, that's understandable. My advice: Listen to the surgeon, ask your questions, and immediately take the best treatment for the dog if you are concerned about his speedy recovery, otherwise it is there that it will cost more and in recovery time for the dog and energy for you and the dog more $$$. Withdraw the superfluous tests, pay the surgeon, and for medications and follow-up go see your vet and pharmacist.
Quite expensive, but acceptable in an emergency. We have been euthanizing our cat today, which was sick for a long time, and not very beautiful to see. The staff were kind and professional in our presence. While waiting for our cat to be "prepared", we heard in the adjoining room "we look like a monkey", in a mocking tone. Yep. We didn't need that given the circumstances. Big disrespect, next time have at least the delicacy to wait until we leave to make fun of our sick cat at the end of life.
We paid $ 3000 for the repair of my dog's paw. Our dog has been resting for 1 month. We followed the advice to the letter. A month later we go to our appointment and surprise !! A crack at the point of the screw. So 2 weeks of more plaster. Good Oki mistakes it happens! But do you know it's better? He charges us $ 700 for the plaster. Even if it's not our fault.
I read the reviews at first and thought to myself that it's probably the people who sound too severe and all. But no! I am in the same boat as you. It's going to be the last time my dog goes to this place .. unless you win at 6/49.
I arrived in emergency with my dog around 9pm. We had to wait about 30 minutes maximum for the care. We were exposed to the possibilities and pros and cons of certain treatments. The vet even withdrew to let us make decisions without pushing us. She was very honest about the fact that some exams were good, but maybe not necessary given the situation. I'm glad they did not push these exams. I was satisfied with the service.
They are very available and offer emergency service. They are ultra competent but the price they charge is really sad, which means that they have 4 stars and not 5 because it is really expensive and not given to everyone to be able to save their companion ....
My dog Jack was hit by a vehicle (broken hip) in July 2015. Luckily this clinic was open! Arrived urgently at 23:45, we were taken care of by a dedicated team. Yes it was expensive! We have always been well informed about the costs before work and no pressure. We made the decision to have him operated because Jack is part of our family. We never seemed to bother, no matter what time we visited Jack during the hospitalization. I went at night because I and Jack work at night. Nothing to do with our hospitals;) They know what animals can represent. Subsequently, a follow-up that corresponds to our expectations, by a dedicated and available team. Jack is doing very well thanks to you.
I was very well served at this veterinary hospital which by the way is extremely well known ... I needed a veterinarian on an emergency weekend for my cat and I had a quick appointment the next day. We met Dr.Ferland who was amazing and really took the time to understand our story. They are very professional, competent and human ... I am in the Charlevoix region and I will definitely travel to Quebec for my animals whenever it is necessary.
Thieves and incompetents who benefit from being the only ones in Quebec to offer an emergency service evenings and weekends. If it is not a vital emergency (eg gastric torsion), take your car and go to the CHUV Ste Hyacinthe, you will be much better received and the costs are clearly disclosed before each intervention. With people who have a real animal ethics and empathy !!!
To avoid, I had a very bad experience with my dog and I never felt that the well being of my dog was important to them. They did everything very quickly, they stressed my dog unnecessarily by isolating him and keeping him away from us when he was feeling very badly. The costs are astronomical and the vet is just talking about money, no way to get the dog in first to ensure proper care. Very bad experience.
Clinic really exceptional. My little schnauzer was very sick, almost moribund. Living in rural areas, our vet advised me Clinique Daubigny for a more complete follow-up. The diagnosis fell: cancer of the digestive system. Many decisions had to be made quickly, Dr. Ouellet and the whole team guided me very well. Surgery was considered and was masterfully done by Dr. Beraud. Today, I found my little dog, playful, active. A HUGE THANKS TO ALL THE TEAM, YOU ARE REALLY VERY PROFESSIONAL. The joy is back in our home. From Maggy and Alain.
My dog had 2 surgeries with the surgeon Romain Beraud from Daubigny. In 2016 for his 2 shoulders at the age of 7 months; osteochondritis dissecting of both shoulders then in 2017 for a cruciate ligament. Always exceptional service and a professional staff that exists! They can be charged a little more than other clinics but the results are worth a thousand words! I hesitated to have operated my dog a second time at Daubigny because of the costs but thinking back, seeing the exceptional result of the previous surgery of my bitch I told myself that it was worth the return of seeing them ! Better paid a little more expensive but never having to go back to the clinic for bad treatment :-) They also saved my bitch Parvovirus! Thanks again to all the Daubigny team :)
I was there for 2 of my huskies and each time my dogs were respected and treated like royalty. The explanations of the members of Daubigny are clear and precise, both before and after surgery. I knew what to expect and it was up to me to make the decisions I deemed suitable for my dogs. The Daubigny staff get straight to the point and answer questions with precision. In summary: Expertise! and expertise pays for itself.
No complaints about the work of the technicians very well. On the other hand if you go to this place and you do not have thousands of dollars in the bank, (pulmonary eodem) you will simply lose your animal for several hundred dollars. As for the vet, after the injection it has simply disappeared. here
Too expensive for the little they did for me. Just seeing the vet costs 190 + tx and after that comes the other costs for the "more advanced" exams (another 190 for a blood test and I don't remember the cost of the radio that I didn't take.) Arrived at 3 p.m., my dog was seen by the vet at 9:30 p.m. Finally $ 700 later left at 11:30 p.m. with pills with no real diagnosis. The staff is nothing more than nice.
First time I ask for help at a veterinary clinic for my cat of 22 years and I have not been suggested to euthanize her. Thank you so much. When you take responsibility for an animal, it's for life and everything that comes with it, including the problems and the associated costs. I'm 40 years old. I have my cat "Cornichon" for 22 years. I was present at birth when I was 18 in my living room in Montreal and I will be there when she dies no matter when it happens. in 22 years I had to enter a building on fire 2 times to get my cat, she was also removed and I had to physically fight to go get her. I slept on the floor with her every time she was sick. today at 22 she still plays .. meows too much;) and still eats too much. She has hip problems and she does not see very well but she is still as nice and beautiful as 22 years ago. I wrote this to make it clear that when you live long with a being like that, if I was willing to risk my own life for my cat several times, it is totally clear that I would never euthanize my cat. I do not know how to say thank you for not having suggested ... To those who find it expensive ... yes .. it's expensive, it cost me $ 625 emergency consultation with a package of tests and medicines and a diet. I do not know I paid what with this $ 625 .. I do not care, they did everything to make it as cheap as possible and most importantly, they saved my cat. You complain about what the detractors? These services are very expensive to offer, especially 24hr service. Being a company director, I understand the drastic increase in fixed costs. This clinic deserves 5 stars ... the cost is relative to the attention that is brought to you and your animal. This is what I had to say about my visit as well as other comments I read. With pleasure! -Pickle
An urgent service which charges the total, 2 to 3 times more expensive than many places. An eternity to have a simple appointment to remove points. An emergency service that takes several hours. I prefer to drive for 1 hour than to present myself again to this clinic.
When I went with my cat (it's been 4 years and I still have it on my heart) she was hypothermic, dehydrated and probably suffering from an intestinal obstruction.
I was told that he had only a few hours to live at most, if I did not do it urgently for the sum of a few thousand dollars, taking into account the consultation, X-rays and the operation. When I asked them if he took the payments, they categorically refused and I did not have the choice to have her euthanized, because I could not let her wither like that even longer ...
When everything was done, I was obviously crying, the vet told me: Well, at least I can give you the box of Kleenex. You can go and pay $ 200 (around) at the front desk.
I felt mockery and no compassion on the part of the employees. I had the impression that we were getting rid of me and my pet and that frankly, they had nothing to fuck as long as they had my money.
They didn't want to give me too much information. They wanted to make me pay astronomical sums for treatments which would surely yield nothing. When they saw that I was leaving and that I did not want to pay ... They gave me useful information. Deplorable
In case of emergency, a wounded animal that's young and will recover they are perfect. If you are ready to spend... With the dam pandemic it's even worst though. I understand the pandemic part but, they're really only there to make money on people's hope that their animal could recover. Tests, tests, tests and horribly expensive medication. They didn't even administer the 1st dose. Even after being told they were done and they would give me the prescription, I had to wait near 45 minutes in the parking to get my cat back! How hard is it to put a few pills in a bottle and give me the bill? And in conclusion. I'm pretty sure I'll have to have her put down tomorrow =,( I have an appointment to have her checked at another vet but I couldn't wait 36 hours. I'll use it for euthanasia...
I had to go urgently to Daubigny since my cat had a urinary blockage. The staff on site was more than competent !! It is certain that the prices are high, but the professionals constantly followed the condition of my cat during the 3 days and took the time to explain the procedures to me. They are very attentive, professional and empathetic. Thanks to the whole team !!
I was overwhelmed by the love and tenderness that was given to my German Shepherd dog, who suffered a serious leg injury and still spent 3 weeks in intensive care and underwent several operations. The gentleness and interest that the team gave to my dog is second to none. So much so that when we returned yesterday for a check, she was super happy to see them again and wanted to go behind (care space) to see the rest of the team.
We are privileged in this center and we are shown. Thanks xxx
To flee urgently! This hospital is not interested in your needs, your feelings but only your credit card. Yes, URGENCE, it is the only hospital open 24/7 in all of western Quebec. No choice, eh, they have a monopoly, so to defraud the world it's much more practical! I will therefore urgently bring my ferret suffering from an insulinoma disease, and those to have her euthanized because it was no longer possible to see her in this lamentable state. (It is an incurable and fatal disease, I could not do anything anyway except to shorten his suffering). After a long hour of waiting, I was greeted by a veterinarian who already told me about the costs associated with the consultation. Examining everything, she lets us say goodbye to our animal. So far, so good. 30 minutes later she warns us that our ferret '' beats to survive '' and therefore resists the bite which is supposed to kill her. THANKS but I didn't need to HEAR THAT KIND OF COMMENT. Finally she gives it back to us in its original state. Except an animal that has just died has loose muscles and organs AND THAT is what they were supposed to know. So by taking it, the ferret empties all these stools on us and on the ground. As a result we are forced to wash our ferret in THEIR SINK and without any help. When leaving they tell us to go to the cash desk to pay.
2nd visit: our cat, to make it short, he wanted to exorb a lot of money by telling us that if we didn't she would die. We therefore decided to wait because the costs were too high. Result we went in another veto and he told us that it could have waited 1 week that would not have changed much and that she was never going to die. FRIK FACTORY suddenly our usual veterinarian told us that there was no need even for radio or echo because with the palpitation he knew immediately what she had. While in Aubigny his took radio, echo, blood test ... TO BE SURE before the surgery. I saved $ 1000 casually by waiting overnight to do it right away. Thank you for taking us by the feelings and making choices which we later regret.
