We gave our cat several tests at this hospital. It took more than 2 weeks to get the results (and that's because we called several times and insisted on getting them because our cat was not fine). We finally got the results "botch" by the receptionist, who told us that they had found nothing, but that if our cat was not well, they advised us to consult again. (That's why we wanted the results, to be able to consult with a track!) So we got the results and that same evening, we were back in emergency at their home.
The veterinarian makes 2 proposals: $ 960 for a night in the emergency room with an ultrasound the next day (to be sure that not all the x-rays, blood tests, cultures, etc. were wrong when indicating nothing, the veterinarian himself said that he expected the ultrasound to give nothing more) and the same drugs that we had already been prescribed 2 weeks earlier OR $ 3200 for a urinary blockage with the big kit, but since we were not sure it was blocked, we had to wait a few hours.
When I asked if I could leave with my cat at home (I live 5 minutes from this hospital) in order to avoid paying overnight in the emergency room, I was told that I would not save anything, because by coming back (even on the same day) a fee of $ 82 for return will be charged (which is approximately the cost of the hospital night).
I finally decide to go home with my cat. The veterinarian tells me that if within 3-4 hours the cat has not urinated, it will have to come back and that will be the $ 3,200 option.
In addition, the veterinarian prescribed the same drugs as the previous visit, but since these are anti-inflammatory drugs, he suggested taking a blood test to find out if my cat had kidney disease. . This blood test costs $ 200. However, it had to be done at the previous visit, because it was exactly the same medication.
The next morning, seeing that my cat has still not urinated, I contacted the St-Hyacinthe Veterinary Medicine Hospital for their opinion. They were much more in tune and offered other options / tracks. When I told them about Daubigny's fees ($ 3,200), they mentioned that I offered services for $ 1,000 to $ 2,000.
Well, for $ 1000 less, I drove the way and my cat was immediately taken care of by a team who really wants his property and not my money like in Daubigny.

First visit to this place, our old old cat being at the end of his life. Having discovered his blow while swelling demonstrating a cancer prob, we opted to have him euthanized urgently this morning. If I would have been proud of certain negative comments relating to this clinic, I would not have been there BUT my opinion following my visit is only 100% positive. The price of an euthanasi is more expensive than the SPCA, yes it is true but it is Saturday a weekend day and I can understand that in the middle of Saturday I must have to pay more and without an appointment. I was made very welcome and with respect from all the staff from start to finish, everyone gave me 5 minutes to be alone with my cat. Everything was very well framed from start to finish. My waiting time is still done quickly, there were already 5 people in the waiting room and I was called before them so I must deduce that euthanasia must be treated, maybe in emergencies?
As for the price, it is $ 131 for the euthanasia without examination + the cremation of the feline is $ 42.

My dog needed a small surgery on his belly and they did a great job. They took the time to explain all the details regarding the surgery and post-surgery. It's expensive but to be expected when you look at the quality they provide. If you need a basic appointment, your basic vet will do the job but if you need a medical expertise, they are the right place to go.

I had been to a general veterinary clinic and according to them, because of the problem of my cat, I had to have it euthanized. The veterinarian knew very little about the disease and knew no place where to treat this kind of problem in Que. I then found the Daubigny clinic on the internet. They sold us a medicine and we were missing 6 doses in the bottle. We were very careful to give the right dose each day, impossible that such a big difference in quantity could be given by mistake. The girl at the reception told us that there may be losses. .? We only had 3 days out of 14 left for this drug and because of the mistake they made we have to buy back the entire drug !!! When we got to this clinic, we left at 3:30 am to arrive at 4:30 am at home.

Another bad experience with a young kitten where instead of trying to save it, the vet felt it was more important to enter the file into the computer, ask questions, get out the cost estimate, while the kitten was was dying on the table. The precious minutes lost led to death, 2 hours later, after paying $ 960.
Everyone who looked at my animal looked just out of school. Oblige to decide on the spot what I do if not oblige to repay $ 140 and wait again 2 hours to redo the diagnosis.
