This aquarium is a great place for kids and you can finish everything in 90 min no problem. There is a lot of shopping around the area as well.

It's a nice aquarium but if you compare to Dubai or Sydney it is somewhat outdated. Hasn't changed much since the last time I was here 15 years ago.

I've seen better aquariums but it was nice. A bit expensive for what is offered.

The aquarium is located in a pretty nice place but the entry is a bit expensive. they got some nice display of fishes and the best part is the glass tunnel through the main tank. They have got other stuff like jellyfish, sharks, stingrays and some lizards as well but it doesn't take too long to look around them.Penguins were a nice feature but the enclosure where they stay was smaller. The inside cafe was also a bit expensive. Overall it was a average experience.

The underwater tunnel was breathtaking (for a first timer), but the visit was otherwise unmemorable.

Nothing special, quality price ratio is bad. Small tanks and too many fishes in the tanks. You have to pay extra 1 for the locker. In the end just a place to make money for the owner.

I ve been to a lot of aquariums across the globe, but this aquarium is definitely up their with the finest. Conveniently located on the marina this is a really well maintained aquarium with a nice team.

Lots of breeds of underwater life from the rainforest to the ocean, toads to sharks, it s fairly well priced at about 44, you never even get a sniff of pressure to move on, you can simply go round and round again and again. Incredibly educational, with a variety of languages catered for on each piece of signage.

Kids will truly love this place.

$20 per person, sometimes if you book tickets online you can save $4 per person. Lovely aquarium with a lot to see. Really enjoyed it.b

Been to alot of see life centres but Barcelona by far the best

This is a poorly kept place with not much aquatic animals to see. I don t recommend this place at all unless you have time and money to waste.

The number of fishes are not as many as I expected, and the sharks looks so tired and it seems to be a good one in the last but never gworing after that...still not a bad place to visit, but if your time and budget is limited, you can skip this. There are many better ones all around the world...

No large fish. No fabulous displays.
Dirty water.

The entrence price is a little bit too high. It's very noisy in the aquarium. But a lot of interesting information, amazing watertunnel and many different animals. Very good that they show us the problems with plastic and waste in the ocean. It makes you think and care more about our planet.

If you haven t seen any other aquarium, could be cool. But I saw bigger ones. Also price is slightly too high as for such amount of exhibits.

Amazing, huge aquarium and sharks are really there Didn t like some people drag you to take a photo before entering the aquarium and afterwards when you go out they offer to buy those pictures for 12 eur each which is not relevant for the pics quality...

Tunnel aquarium is small but good. Rest of the collection is okay.

Well worth the entry. Leave about two to two and half hours to wander through. Smaller exhibits before large tunnel walk though of sharks. Lockers available for bags etc at minimal charge.

Very big aquarium, I've never been to one,but I red that this is the biggest Mediterranean aquarium in the world.

Got here just before opening queues were not very long so didn't wait long. Welcome photo taken which was nice on entry if you choose to buy. Really enjoyed the whole experience of the aquarium was nice to watch the penguins being fed. Cafe was nice not that expensive either which was nice. Gift shop was very reasonable prices was very pleased with the whole experience.

In few days that I have been in Barcelona, I quite loved everything, but to visit this beautiful aquarium was something else. Maybe because it was my first time to go to a aquarium and see all the sea animals from near, but I enjoyed so much.

Price is a bit high.
But fish look well-kept. Some are gigantic.

Lots of friendly fish to see, there was an 80m long tunnel beneath the aquarium to see the fish at there best, 21 entrance fee but a great thing to with partner/family

Disappointing. I read that it was the best in Europe but found the variety lacking. The fish tunnel was cool though, similar to an aquarium in Hawaii. The penguin enclosure was definitely lacking, even the one in Calgary, Canada is set up much better.

Was nice place, nice experience to see sea life, maybe it's more interesting for children as it's not really big!

Liked it, the tubes where the sharks and rays swim over is really cool. There are sections that seem very kiddish, but still fun. Couldn't find where to get the supplies to feed the coy fish, and the tank with the rays, where you'd normally be able to pet them has a net over it and that isn't allowed. I think my expectations were too high being in Barcelona and paying 20 euros, I've been to a better aquarium in North Carolina.

To make it clear for the one star comment people, this Aquarium provides many species. You can discovers a lot of fishes from around the planet and it is well explained.
The big pool with sharks is very impressive. Sometime the shark is right above you.
I can't put 5 stars because of the penguins' space. It's quite sad to see them in tiny space..

Great aquarium by the waterside. Our 7 year old really enjoyed walking around and the penguin feeding. Wasn t overcrowded during our visit.

Yes the fishes are interesting and you will not see them in a simple zoo. But everything inside is old. The toilets are dirty ant old. Half of the entertainments for kids are not working and morally old. It is not worth to pay 21eur for it.

As a cichlid enthusiast I find it appaling that they mix Malawi cichlids with Amazonian cichlids.



Big tank is kind of cool though, I guess. And I think most kids will enjoy themselves if that's the only reason for visiting.

I have enjoyed my visit to the aquarium for it has a great diversity of underwater creatures from different parts of the world.

Great place to watch a variety of sea creatures including sharks. The ticket price is fair. The fast food prices inside the facility are very gardens. Recommended for children and adults. Very good air conditioner.

Considering the ticket price, we expected the escalators to work. Otherwise, an enjoyable visit, especially for kids.

It is a great Aquarium, with collection of variety of Fish and aquatic animals. It gives details of about the fish which is very good for school children and other people.

Fun aquarium located right on the harbor, easy walk from la ramblas. There are penguins and an archway passage through a shark tank, as well as an interactive children's area.

It is quite good for the kids, they enjoi the visit but the installations are really old and the entrance is very very expensive for what they are offering and the installations. Is not worth it.

Seriously it was a nice family experience. I have been to many aquariums around the world. This one has big variety of sea life. Very clean nice atmosphere, welk organized and you get to face the shark insode to take amazing pitures.

Fun place with the kids. Little small but enough to see and still, a family can spend an hour or so, plus there's a kids playground area after the visit. It's a good family experience. Skip the cafe. Book a little ahead online and just head straight to the entrance gate without standing in line for ages.

Really fun and nice and air conditioned out of the heat! Seems like a really good place for kids!

Did the shark cage diving. Instructor and experience brilliant! If we hadn't done that though I don't think the queue a few days before would have been worth it for us. Children would love it though.

Must visit location if you are into Aquariums pricey but it was a good enjoyable.

It was last minute tour as I was leaving Barcelona next morning. One hour of exploring the sea life was very pleasant experience and 20 euros ticket worth it. Absolutely recommended

Nice aquarium, lots of fish and even has sharks and penguins. Not the best ever one I have been to but would visit at least once. The food is overpriced, but you aren't there long enough to need to eat.
The penguins I feel don't have a large enough enclosure but they couldn't exactly have a large one outside due to the weather.

Was expecting a lot more, overpriced ticket for sure.
Yes we saw some very nice creatures that we didn t see before, but I was expecting something huge.
Plus, for me, I am not a fan of capturing animals in cages or tanks. Noting that I saw a number of tanks that are too small and you can literally feel the sadness of the creatures.
The gelly fish were tied by a string for display, I think that was cruel! All animals should be free in the nature where they belong...

Sooo... It is tho a nice place, but......the price is way to expensive for what the aquarium offers. Was expecting some big sharks and not their babies. Still great for a 180* view . And still great as one of the last things to see in Barcelona. Perfect deal probably if you have kids. Ouu I was forgetting about having a beer on a terrace upstairs at the aquarium.

If you are bored out of your mind, you go but for this price...i have expected a better experience. Everything looks 20 years old there and it you just cant shake the feeling of sadness.
Go spend that hour anywhere else.

It s a nice aquarium, but if you had visited other similar places, this one won t be anything so special or interesting for you. Still it is a good idea to visit it is if you are with your kids. For them it will be interesting for sure. I don t recommend it that much for adults. For its price of 20 you can visit a lot more interesting places in Barcelona.

A must see for any fish lovers, all tanks are well maintained. Fish are all healthy and there is an abundance of information plaques to inform as to each tanks contents

Amazing. Lots of beautiful sea creatures, I was staring wide-eyed in all directions. I gladly recommend.

You get to see a lot of different creatures of the sea. Sea breams, dragonfish, balloonfish, different sharks, sea urchins and stars, rays, sea cucumber, hermit crab and lots and lots of varieties of fish.

There is a separate area that also contains South American fish and even a tank with penguins.

You also get to walk through a tunnel surrounded by fish, including sharks. Great experience all round. Unfortunately I saw no family discount for groups, but children and elderly do get in cheaper.

A very average experience for a high price of minimum 20 euros.
The variety of fish and other animals was not that exciting. The most entertaining section was the central big tank with a few sharks and relatively big stingrays. You can observe the big tank by standing on a 360 degree spinning platform.

I would not recommend unless the price drops significantly.

Such unique place of its kind! I could sit in it and look at it for hours.... I recommend for everyone - adults and small one explorers of the underwater world! Greetings from Poland!

One of the best destinations on my short trip to Barcelona. Our group enjoy all the displays and was quite delighted by the large overhead tank.

Brilliant family day out. Not massively expensive, kept us entertained for a few hours and the surrounding area is worth a look around.
