Great place. Includes rare spieces and various are very well represented. Children loved it. Highly recommended both for children and adults.

The place is fantastic! At the entrance they take a picture of you (12 ) but you go once in your life maybe so at least you can remember that you have been there! After that you can see quite a few types of fish and sharks! The only problem is the proportion of the place ! It s not big enough for an aquarium of Barcelona! But it s fine anyway! I think the price should be less anyway! Give a try and see with your eyes!
I'm used to the Atlanta aquarium so I might just have very high expectations. This place was fine. Most of the tanks are small but there's a few big ones and a little moving sidewalk that takes you through parts of them. No whales or otters. We had fun though and it was nice to get out of the heat for a while.
Brilliant place to take children, they can have a go feeding the tropical fish! The shark tank is great and they have a very large range of fish.
Way over priced for the size out side was not clean and there was lucky lucky men selling there fake shoes and handbags and sunglasses had to walk through them to get to the ticket office not grest don't thay have any security or anything litter everywhere etc don't bother not worth the walk there
SIMPLY LOVE THIS PLACE...It's a wonderful attraction to visit with the family... all sorts of colourful fish ..., sharks too..and cute penguins. Such a great display with slow moving escalators to see the exhibits close up..... Fascinating....A shop and cafe also...
Small tour where you can see a lot of sea animals, from small fishes to large sharks. It is a little expensive, like 20 a ticket. If you want an 'official' picture in the aquarium, it's like another 12 more..
Amazing!!!!!! A destination that you mustn't miss!!!!
Great experience with the kids. They really enjoyed the penguins and the water tunnel. Plenty to see.
It was great place. I have been to many aquarium all over the world. This one was as nice.
The aquarium has quite an impressive shark tank, but the other tanks for the animals was small, and not very animal friendly. Perhaps they could decrease diversity in species and increase the space in some of the exhibitions?
A bit overpriced, 21 Euro each for entrance. We liked it though, especially the glass ceiling, where you can sharks and big fish swimming over your head. The park with the penguins was not satisfying cause it was up high and the glass was blurred, so the visibility was mediocre.
Very nice place, the first part with "small" aquariums is similar to other places of this type. At the end, there is a huge aquarium with a tunnel underneath it. The tunnel has a moving walkway. Too many people can be given as a minus, sometimes to see aquarium you need to wait in a line :)
Amazing aquatic experience. A nice place to go on a date too :) where you can learn a lot about all sorts of sea creatures... Yeah and there are some big ass sharks too :p
I loved it. It was quite a bit expensive however, but well worth it
Family friendly. The kids will love it, but so will the adults. Top destination.
The octopus were so active & able to be seen unlike other places where they hide bc they're nocturnal. It was a nice size with plenty to see to occupy a few hours & get out of the heat. Towards the end there was an entertaining brown & white striped hogfish that kept bobbing out of the water like a dolphin. Some of the fish aren't marked to show what they are which is a shame bc it was always the ones we were interested in due to their quirky behavior or attention getting antics.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and range of aquatic animals.
Especially loved their rotating floor through the sea life tunnel.
Nice place for childrens and adults with a lot of fishes from the entire planet. It
was not crowded at all, Covid rules are respected. Go for it!
Has a nice variety of animals from all over the world. There are translations for 3-4 languages (Spanish, English and one or two others (depends on where you are)).
Nice aquarium. Best place to go with children. There are sharks there.
Fantastic. Well maintained and super interraction with the sea creatures. Must visit for adults & kids. prices are reasonable.
Good. But was fooled by the people who take ur fotos widout really asking if u need and then ritually force it onto u for 12 euros.
This is overrated if it's about adults only.
Yea... if you have kids, they will enjoy it. Otherwise, you can find many other ways to spend in a better way your time & money in Barcelona.
Really good place to bring kids who are not so keen on other touristy bits.
There's a cafe available inside the Aquarium.
As adults we enjoyed ourselves, but maybe the price was a bit too high.
Great variety of fishes and layout is great.
Not sure if would go back again, but still great place, fond memories.
Nice visit,reasonable prices,clean and well maintained .
A very nice aquarium and very friendly staff.
The visit takes about two hours.
I cannot help but feel accomplice in the inherent cruelty of caging a poor creature just to watch it waste its life imprisoned.
For whatever reason we justify it it feels wrong.
However well we equip its prison it still feels wrong.
Evil people imprisoned would eventually have parole however those poor creatures who have done nothing wrong would end their life without freedom for our entertainment.
No matter how I try and reason and justify it to myself it feels wrong.
Pretty nice aquarium, big range of tropical species. Interior is a little old fashioned.
Would recommend just for the tunnel with the sharks but only at a discounted rate .went when not busy so straight round done and dusted in a hour .
Amazing place to visit! The charges are 21 for adult which is......well......quite considerable. They have a lot of aquatic life and its species are explained with their behavior. There is a cafe at the end and a shop too. Must visit for kids!
Had a great time here. The tickets are a little steep but the gift shop and the aquarium is well made. The food options are nice as well. a good option on a Sunday as the mall next door is open on a Sunday
It was very cool and interesting! After visit this place you will want to go snorkeling in Egypt for example)
I was really looking forward to see the aquarium, but This place was a big dissapoitment to me and my boyfriend.
We felt like visiting a kindergarten. People pushed each other forward when having a look at the fish.
Kids ran every where.
The penquins seemed sick or something. They were just standing completely still While looking straight into the wall :((
Really hoping this place is going for some changes, so maybe People without screaming kids also could enjoy and get some real knowledge about the oceans and the life underneath.
Wasn't really impressed with this place, it's quite small and tickets are worth the cost.
Upon entry the photographer's force you to take a photo, I struggled to tell them I'm not interested, as they try to make you buy these at a cost.
I spent about 22 euro I think and spent about 10minutes inside, not worth it in my opinion.
Kids may enjoy it but I didn't, not much there to view.
Horrible! 21 Euro for a 25 minutes exhibition with 5 small sharks and just other small fishes.
After that they ask you 12 Euros for 2 photos made at the entrance. At least you can take it or leave it, but after 21 euros for almost nothing it's a shame.
La aquarium is one of the many good places in Barca , but if you are traveling to Barca maybe for a day or two this is not a place you want to be , it takes a lot of time and entrance ticket is costly and doesn't deserve that much
I have already visited other aquarium's and this one is not the best one.
A little overpriced I feel, did not have any dolphins, seals or turtles, the penguin enclosure could have been much better as well.
Decent aquarium, won't blow your mind but if you want to see some underwater creatures you can't go wrong.
Have been in this museum 20 years ago in childhood. And visited also this year. It is a fantastic place to visit.
Nice aquarium, my kids really liked it! A lot of different marine species to see including sharks, penguins and more! A bit tricky to walk with a stroller- had to ask staffs how to get upstairs downstairs, however staffs been really helpful and friendly. Plan there to spend about couple of hours.
Really good aquarium. Took my little boy who is nearly two years old and he loved it. He loves sharks anyway.
Well despite the long wait you'll be rewarded, if you love sea creatures
This aquarium is relatively small compare to others. However, it's very family friendly and it won't take long to see all the attractions.
This is an excellent aquarium. Their lighting of the fish is wonderful. There is such a variety of fish. You can buy a bottle and feed the koi a special food. That s really an experience. My favorite was the stingray tank. The rays respond to your voice and show off. Of course the tunnel you walk through with all the sharks and fish is amazing.
Would ask for my money back if it could.
Pour water quality, so much algae
Over stuffed tanks, all of them.
No happy fish, yes good water and nice environment means happy fish.
Penguins are not right, frantic and upset.
+1 star An extra star for lots of species
It is a pretty great aquarium. The reasons for 4 stars is because of how crowded it was. You have to wait behind a crowd of people to see every display, and I was there within an hour of opening. I recommend that you go on a weekday because it will be much more enjoyable without so many people.
No staff in the aquarium to monitor crowding or following rules listed. Tanks are far too small for majority of animals kept in this establishment. Over priced food and generally very poor facilities.
My daughter loved it, plenty for children to do and next to shopping mall and restaurants
This was a Verrry well done aquarium. They had many fish, octopuses, tanks, and a walkway that let you be under/in the big tank. We saw a diver feed the sharks, rays, eels, and fish. They had a cafe and gift shop.
Interesting fishes, not the most impressive set up and displays. Plan to visit it if you have kids, as it is interesting for them.
I was expecting more but it was not too big. You can explore the whole aquarium within 1 hour. But yes it was an amazing experience for me.
Good experience but pricey for what you get. Not enough activities for the children to do and and needs a wider variety of other aquatic animals to see.
If you want to see a biig aquarium you should try England's but this isn't bad either.IT HAS SHARKS IN IT<3<3<3
Just a few lockers. All full. If you don t have 1 coin you cannot use it. Completely unfriendly for foreigners who only have a credit card. Free wifi Tricks you to publish your visit on Facebook and get personal data to get access to internet or give away your email. Not acceptable for 21 entrance price. Especially when even a 14yo has to pay adult price. Timeline of Submarine ends with state of the art technology of 2000. 20 years ago. Time for an update. Very few penguins. All in all less good than Bilbao or Osaka. Didn t age well. Didn t see anything about the state of the sea nowadays, missed opportunity to talk about ecology, danger of plastic in the ocean, rising sea level, coral death due to rise of temperatures...
