Minoan Cruise Olympia quite dirty, common areas with a bad smell, cabin not very clean

I travelled from Catania to Salerno with the cheapest ticket and it's was a good experience. Travel by ferry in Italy. I had a nice sunrise, the staff from the shuttle was very nice but the old guy from the bar not so much. totally worth it if you don't have much money to travel.

We have chosen the "new" Palermo - Livorno route. PESSIMA EXPERIENCE.
The ship was ZOZZA at the limits of decency.

CAB EXPERIENCE:
we found bottle caps in the bed. It smells like a dirty bathroom both inside the cabin and, of course, inside the bathroom itself. To put it another way, the cup was still dirty with excrement and the black shower tray was dirty.
The carpet in the cabin was completely sprinkled with dust and dirt, and you can imagine what could have been gathered in the corners of the room. Some white portions of walls showed black marks, probably fingerprints of dirt. I stop because otherwise I would not stop ...

EXPERIENCE IN COMMON SPACES:
Indecent bar, dirty and dilapidated. Very few services for a ship that travels this long. It smells like a dirty bathroom even in large areas.
Dirt of every sort in all the corners of the windows, also filthy to die for. Few public and filthy bathrooms. SELF SERVICE: unhealthy-looking food, meat drowned in disquieting fat slurry, various types of pasta piled up like animal food.
Only one worker cleaned the tables with a piece of brown (originally it must have been yellow), with no product in hand (which he should have done anyway when there were no more people sitting there), but passing it and by placing it on the tables and on the armchairs (the non-woven fabric that covered the seats where to eat) is totally non-hygienic. And even here I stop, because I could go further.

POSITIVES:
- the operators on fb and call centers who helped us with the booking were very efficient and super-friendly. 10 cum laude.
- We started late but we arrived just after the scheduled time.

SUMMARY: we will never travel with Grimaldi Lines again, unless it is strictly necessary.

26 July 2014, Salerno-Palermo aboard the Zeus Palace. Journey to the limits of decency. Old and unkempt ship. The crew does what it can to limit inconveniences and inefficiencies on board but cannot do miracles. Arrival (in Palermo) with 4 hours of delay, unloading operations almost in anarchy without staff assistance. Overall a very bad experience.

Terminals Patras/Brindisi/Ancona are dangerous! Absence of signage, scary truck driving, refugee hunting, very long wait.

Corona measures not enforced for truck drivers.
Rescue boats: release bolts rusted, MOB boats look neglected.
Chimney belches thick, yellow smoke: heavy fuel oil, even in the ports.
