We have chosen the "new" Palermo - Livorno route. PESSIMA EXPERIENCE.
The ship was ZOZZA at the limits of decency.

CAB EXPERIENCE:
we found bottle caps in the bed. It smells like a dirty bathroom both inside the cabin and, of course, inside the bathroom itself. To put it another way, the cup was still dirty with excrement and the black shower tray was dirty.
The carpet in the cabin was completely sprinkled with dust and dirt, and you can imagine what could have been gathered in the corners of the room. Some white portions of walls showed black marks, probably fingerprints of dirt. I stop because otherwise I would not stop ...

EXPERIENCE IN COMMON SPACES:
Indecent bar, dirty and dilapidated. Very few services for a ship that travels this long. It smells like a dirty bathroom even in large areas.
Dirt of every sort in all the corners of the windows, also filthy to die for. Few public and filthy bathrooms. SELF SERVICE: unhealthy-looking food, meat drowned in disquieting fat slurry, various types of pasta piled up like animal food.
Only one worker cleaned the tables with a piece of brown (originally it must have been yellow), with no product in hand (which he should have done anyway when there were no more people sitting there), but passing it and by placing it on the tables and on the armchairs (the non-woven fabric that covered the seats where to eat) is totally non-hygienic. And even here I stop, because I could go further.

POSITIVES:
- the operators on fb and call centers who helped us with the booking were very efficient and super-friendly. 10 cum laude.
- We started late but we arrived just after the scheduled time.

SUMMARY: we will never travel with Grimaldi Lines again, unless it is strictly necessary.
