Drivers don't work for this company as they will Ripppp you offf check out my payslip attached to the review
Plus they will slave you to long hours also the type of riders most of them Drunks from pubs and clubs or drug runners also hospital worker which might lead you to catch am serious illness
They are not humans at all they wanted me to do a drop to Heathrow in the end of my shift 8Am which I started at 4:40pm the day before plus the fact I live in Croydon!!!
Management very poor and think themselves great while they are nothing and maybe they don't know even how to drive a car

I am surprised at some of the reviews written belo...

I am surprised at some of the reviews written below as I have known Greyhound Cars for a very long time as an occasional user of their car service. I have never encountered poor standard of service and so hope potential users will try using your services before passing a final judgement based on the negative reviews left online here.

In the grand scheme if you look at the number of jobs these guys do in a day everyday i think mistakes can happen but I doubt the management would allow their staff to disrespect customer and get away with it.

Booked a cab 4 days in advance, it cvant given to another company without my knowledge then they did not turn up and made out they picked us up and was on route to the destination... Which almost made me late for an appointment (5 minutes early). They should at th ebery least let a custoemr know if they need to hand it to another company and give the customer the option.

The driver was also very bad, took massive risks and was completely uncaring about the little pet I had in a carier who was getting thrown about. AVOID

I used to value this company, but come to find that I am NOT a valued customer but after an incident that could have been easily rectified I find that when I now call for cars there is never one available or they do not serve the area that I am in...
Funnily enough I tested my theory and used my work phone for a client, a car came and it was the same area that they do not serve!
For being blackballed I would have given minus scores as they even have the cheek to send promotions texts to my mobile.

I had booked this company dozens of times, but no more. I booked a cab about 6 hours in advance to take me and a very ill cat (in basket) to the vets. When the cab did not arrive I called to ask why. They said we don't have any drivers to take a cat in a basket. No call to tell me, and no car to get a very ill cat to it's appointment. I had to ring around like mad to beg the vets to keep an appointment open and find another cab (who, incidentally, could hardly believe no-one would take a cat in a basket). As my cat was in a terrible state you can imagine how distressing this was.
Terrible service and no apology even. Will never use again, and my business recommended them all the time

Was the worst experience of my life and my 9 year olds as well....we called a cab he lost his way..when i tried to direct him he got very aggigated to the point my 9 year old was in tears when we did manage to reach our home i told my daughter to get ojt as she was upset whilst i paid him.....he then grabbed my daughters pizza pushing her back down to the seat. I have never been so upset and scared i my life awful experince. My daughter actually will now not get a cab and if we do is not the best expeeience.

Drivers be warned they would tell you it flexible ...

Drivers be warned they would tell you it flexible and it commission only. Then take deposit from you and then they bill you every week for payments regardless if you work or not. It shocking they been trading these long . TFL already informed. Scam and terrible customer services preying on people who cannot use Uber or taxi app.

I would advise People to keep miles away from these cowboy outfits. Surprised that they been around quite a while and even customers claim they are crass and garbage hahaha seriously. They are like leech preying on people. Drivers and Customers please avoid at all cost and use Uber or taxi. If you don't care then feel free to be ripped off.

Booked a taxibfor 08:00 yesterday to take my daughter to school for a GCSE exam. No car turned up. When we called them, they said thst it was Ramadan and so 20 drivers and 2 controllers did not turn up for work. They didn't even call us to let us know that they were not coming.

Completely amateur and unprofessional. Will not use them again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

AVOID!!! These guys are con artists. Booked an airport pick-up, turns out they start the clock the moment the plane lands, as opposed to having the driver arrive at a sensible time to allow for getting through security, picking up luggage, etc, so you get totally stung.

The worst taxi company ever. I booked a taxi then the driver still got my address wrong after I confirmed my address at least 5 times. Then he realized he was at a wrong address and tried to picked up me where I was. And I was waiting for 15 mins still not see he was coming. Then I have to call the taxi office to figure out where the driver is. The office said it was system error and the driver tried to call me but I didn't answer the phone (I didn't receive the driver's call)which is ridiculous excuses. And not arrange me another taxi but suggested me to call other taxi companies to get a taxi. Such unprofessional and rude.and no surprise there are so many bad reviews.

They offer a cab to come straight away and then say to you they have no cabs available. So why offer the service of a cab straight away.
Get an Uber it s easier!

We have lived in the area for almost 20 years, and...

We have lived in the area for almost 20 years, and are aware of the cab companies in the area and their reputations. This cab firm may have many drivers, but the reputation, as I have heard, and experienced, is really crass. They may give the idea of a professional company, but most their drivers have no knowledge of where they are going, or basic customer etiquette, I have used them on several occasions when Keen's, my favoured company, are busy.

On one important occasion, I was with my baby and the driver did not even help me load my pram or luggage in the boot, let alone get out of his car. I had to be at Heathrow, yet he followed his SatNav from Streatham to Vauxhall then followed the A4 from Knightsbridge. The traffic was horrendous, and the driver far from being apologetic blamed me for not telling me a faster route. He then said this job was wasting his time, as he was waiting for local work, and started yelling about how much commission and rent he has to pay to the company.

After talking about this to friends in the area, although local journeys seem fine, never rely on a good service, just expect a minicab service. I do regret ever ringing them. On complaining the controller who sounded like a likely lad, called me "love", which I do not see as professional, he then totally dismissed this problem and obviously was unsure and out off his depth, apologised, but offered no compensation as to how we were treated.

Oh by the way they are also very expensive for the quality of service they claim to provide, and if you pay by card they rip you off with an unfounded surcharge as well, which even banks can be proud off not charging. Rubbish service, expensive, and trying to be something they cannot be.

Stay well clear. I do now believe the reviews on here either must be fake or those of customers who they choose to keep happy.

I have used Greyhound for many years and have found the service excellent. Polite, prompt and good drivers. I've only ever had a problem once or twice when a couple of drivers couldn't find my address and left the job without contacting me which I'm sure is just a sat nav/training issue. They are a little more pricey than other car companies but you get what you pay for, they are so reliable and generally always know where they are going that I'm happy to pay a couple of quid extra. Would be five stars only for the fact that some drivers card machines are not always working but you can pay on card via the app as well so not a huge problem.

I am a controller in a different company, i like reading the reviews with different cab offices, to see what reflect the situation i faced every single day with people over the phone. First of all, cab officers owner they never like their business to fade out on the market, but with the expectation of customers we controller have to face a lot of troubles. I have meet with very few well mannered and generous customers, some people never realise that customer care is sometime like a mirror reflection, you get what you give. Some kind of customers when they know the owner and hold a friendly relation they seized this golden opportunity to blackmail the controller and and ask for discount, why they dont ask for discount with UBER,
Why would not they booked airport trip with UBER in peak time.
If you want service you should not be worried about the price, as much as cab offices has to look after his customers they have to be considerate and NOT abuse their drivers goodness and hard work, not you think coz he is a driver they drives you everywhere they are not slaves.

I myself as a customer I used this cab company I had a very good experienced with Grey hound cars

Called the office to get alternative car and driver, but received disgusting customer service from the call handler. No understanding, no apology.

If you like bad service then use their company. If you don't then spare yourself and avoid like the plague!

Fantastic service. The lady I speak to when I call in the mornings is lovely, very personable and efficient. Also their is a driver called Michael Thomas: I think driver number 207- Really great driver and full of positivity. Greyhound cars always deliver great service and I have been using this cars service for a long time. There has rarely been i time that my driver is late or they do not have any drivers available. Highly recommended

I've used Greyhound several time a year for 5 year...

I've used Greyhound several time a year for 5 years - mainly airport runs - and they have always provided excellent service, clean and modern cars, with friendly drivers and a great price. Reading some of the bad reviews I can only imagine these people bring bad service on themselves by having a bad attitude to start with. The control room for Greyhound always has someone answering the phone within a minute or two no they are very professional and polite.

I was unexpectedly taken into st George's hospital, I had no phone with me, no cash, bank card or bus pass. I was discharged at 1.30 am. My only option of getting home was a cab. My special needs son was with me, the driver refused to take us home as they have a money first policy and told me to ask the ambulance to take us home !! I had cash at home , driver would had seen us going through my front door! I have lung disease and was taken to hospital because I couldn't breathe, I was exhausted, distraught cold and still a little breathless. My son and I had to get out the cab and walk to Putney, we got home at 5am. I got a chest infection after this. I am disgusted that money came first before our safety, shame on greyhound cars and their policy. They will be receiving a letter of complaint.

Needed a cab to come back from Croydon's hospital. Phoned fist time: they tell us the cab will be there in 10 minutes, wait for half an hour outside the hospital with my newborn baby and no cab. Phoned again, they said the driver has been and has not found us. Ordered another cab, gave precise instructions how to get to maternity ward, same thing happens. Phoned again, they said it's our fault for not being there - but we were! And under the rain. Ordered a third cab, patrolled the road, paid attention to every car going by - no cab again. We phoned the company, they said the drivers only go to the main entrance so it's again our fault, even though when we gave the exact address and they never mentioned anything like that. We asked for another cab to be sent but they told us that that was 'strike no. 3' and they would never again send a cab for us. We wasted over 1 hour and half, with a newborn and a toddler, waiting for cabs that never showed up and then got the blame! Phoned another company, driver came within 5 minutes, parked in front of the maternity ward, helped up with the pushchair, brought us home. If I could give Grayhound cars zero stars I would. What a horrible experience!

My teenage daughter left her passport behind at ho...

My teenage daughter left her passport behind at home this morning and woke me in the early hours in a panic for a flight that closed at 6.20am. We live in Streatham and she was in Luton Airport! I phoned Greyhound Cars immediately and asked what was the likelihood of them being able to effectively courier her passport to her in time for her to be able to check in. I was given a very accurate estimate of time by the gentleman who picked up the call as I explained the situation and he sent one of his "most experienced" drivers to take the job immediately. Within minutes the cab was at my door. The call to action, speed and communication of the driver, together with me, the cab office operator AND my daughter during the journey there was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL. The driver contacted my daughter when he was just arriving at the airport, and as he was stuck in traffic, staying on the phone with her describing where he was exactly, what cars were in front of him, what he could see around him, noticed her and asked what she was wearing whilst waving to her to get her attention. She had to jump over railings to meet him and he swiftly gave her her passport whilst wishing her well. He arrived 10 minutes earlier than anticipated and she made the flight!! This was effectively an emergency situation for us and Greyhound Cars acted in the most professional, responsive, polite, friendly and almost "chilled out" way - as in very confident of their being able to deliver. The cab office gentlemen even double-checked with me to make sure it was definitely Luton airport they needed to go to!
Greyhound cars are my local cab office, and I have used them several times over the years and the service has always been good. They have a very good system where they will send a cab immediately to your address based on your phone number. But it is equally easy to speak to someone in person. However I have never written a review before. I didn't take anyone's name, but but both the operator and the driver know who they are, and I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU! for everything that you did for us this morning. My daughter is now happily eating Pizza in Croatia, and I am now happily removing that extra grey hair that that early morning phone call sprung! Both me and my daughter truly appreciate your efforts and swift actions today, as time was of the essence. It was in the early hours of the morning, you could have been sleepy or took your time, but you chose not to. Those vital minutes made all the difference, and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you Greyhound Cars, we are two very happy customers!

Very unfare in distributing jobs to their drivers. Good jobs are given to the favourite drivers even jobs previously given to new drivers are given to their own favourite ones. Have lots of deliverg jobs between 10 to 3 almost all.jobs are delivery jobs. The app leaves no option for a driver to cancel a job as some jobs require drivers to travel 6 to 7 miles away 40 to 50 minutes long journey to pick up a passenger. The drivers arent paid for the first 15 minutes of waiting when picking up their accounts customers which constitute 40% of total business 30% are deliveries where as only 30% are cash customers

Worked for greyhound cars had few issues which were solved. Never had any trouble with customers. Be smart and stay safe. Greyhound Always helped me when i needed. Work is there you need to know time and place. Be a great driver not a good driver is not enough. Greyhound iv respected and customers who pay for fares at greyhound rate should be well respected and treated with a 5* service. No other company will pay you as much as greyhound. Your choice your own time your own commitment make money or relax at home.

I travelled to London today, was planning on getting the bus to my destination however the bus driver wasn't very helpful and I felt lost so I rang Greyhound Cars and they were fantastic! Very polite on the phone, clean car, friendly driver, the text & tracking system is very good. The driver took me to my destination but he wasn't sure if we were outside the right building so he waited for me to go in to the building to ask if I was at the right place, he said if it wasn't the right building to get back in the car and would help me. The price was also good!

the automated phone service at St Georges does not seem to work. I have a brain tumour that has grown so needed a new brain scan. rang at 3.30pm for an immediate car. nothing happened for an hour so phoned from my mobile. they said that a driver had been to the wing and I wasnt there- I got up every time a driver arrived but no-one was for me. should have been home by 4pm- finally home by 6 pm and it took me 2 days to recover from the experience. will never use this service again. have used them in the past to go to the theatre in Wimbledon but automated service does not work. need to speak to a person not a machine.

Have just started using greyhound cars as the company we were using for weekly trips to the GP became a little unreliable and now seem to have closed down. Very pleased with the service, the gentleman taking bookings on the phone is very polite and my brother the passenger tells me that the drivers are very kind and the cars immaculately clean. Have downloaded the app this is very easy to use, will be using for our journeys moving forward.

We were unfortunate enough to book 2 of these cars for our wedding. We specified it was for a wedding, 1st driver was rude, getting upset about bridesmaids having flowers, wanted to charge more for waiting the two minutes we took to go out. Second car simply showed up after 20 minutes. So I was late at my own wedding and really stressed. Driver Said they called him few minutes before to send him to do this job. I expect that when you book a car with one week of notice, they at least bother booking drivers. No one called me from the company to inform me my car was late, I nearly got an uber, while soaking in the rain with wedding gown and veil on. So unprofessional, won't recommend this to anyone.

Poor company employing rude drivers. Repeatedly told the driver not to leave his car in my driveway and he doesn't listen. Lately I get cheeky responses bad attitude when I ask him to move his car to allow me access to my driveway or to leave for work in the morning. Reported to management with no effect as they support their own rude employees

Terrible Service, wish I had listened to previous reviews! Firstly driver turned up late and wouldn't go to the address we ordered he was 5 mins walk up the road we stood in the rain arguing with him until he told us to call a different company! I called the company to complain they then told me the car was cancelled as we had given the driver abuse!?

Complete joke of a service will never use again cannot recommend enough to use any other company don't get left on the road like we did!

If I could give them a zero I would. They seem to have contracts with every supermarket and hospital in South London. So after my first couple of bad experiences I wouldn't have used them, but the cab was being ordered on my behalf on account. Well even though I won't be reimbursed, I'd rather just go with someone else.

On one occasion a group of us were waiting in the rain and wind. We were told a 10 minute wait time. 20 minutes later we rang up, I'm pretty sure a driver had never been dispatched, told it was nearly there. Ended up waiting over 40 minutes in total. Similar situations have happened at the supermarket, but at least there I was warm and dry.

I am sitting in one of your cars on our way to Gatwick. Or we should be! We have been sitting in the car for an hour and have been round the country lanes. My husband has directed him on to the motorway. How can a driver not know the way to Gatwick airport? He has 2 sat navs and google maps on the phone! He has absolutely no idea where he is going. To say I am stressed is an understatement. Great start to the holiday. Unbelievable!!

Very Good & Reliable company, Driver's are smartly dress, well behaved, polite and courteous. No overcharging on journey. Nice & Clean Hybrid cars. The control room staff are very good providing excellent customer service. Highly recommend greyhound cars to every one.

Just had trip with greyhound and was threatened by the driver because we asked to fasten our seat belts before moving. Then he gave verbal abuse when driving off. DON'T USE THEM.

Just seen other reviews and most are negative with overcharging. Again DON'T USE THEM.

For the third time (all different drivers) have gone to a completely different destination a 10-20 minute drive away. Even when it wasn't me ordering but a family friend the driver still went to the wrong place. But don't call the drivers, they're rude so will just hang up on you or refuse to come.

Rubbish service. Would give a zero if I could. Called 3 times and was waiting for over 45 mins. It s unacceptable given that usually it would take 5 minutes for the cab driver to get here. Wouldn t recommend it to anyone else and this issue should be looked at.
