Please hire better security that actually care about the safety of the keepers and animals, as well as the guests and keeping them out of enclosures.

This is the saddest zoo I've ever been to. It felt more like a set from Mad Max than an animal habitat.

Amazing zoo. We're from Houston and this zoo is way bigger and better. Love the play structure to stop walking and let the kids play for a while. Great gift shops.

Well laid out zoo with great animals and shows to learn about them. Great way to spend a day.

Very good place to come for a walk and have fun with the little ones have the animals clean and in good condition. Excellent family place.

A great place to bring in the little ones you can always enjoy yourself have a good time are you able to bring in food from outside so that helps and the cost especially if you have a lot of little ones and it also has a picnic area you can actually leave and come back so I was really happy with my visit can't wait to come back and bring my little ones again.

Great experience for my kids. We came around 10am on the morning and I have to say we did not have enough time to see every animal. We missed the giraffe and black bear. Will come back to see them again

Wow ! What a wonderful zoo ! It was very clean, informative and had a bunch of exotic animals. The botanical gardens were to die for as well !

I only go for "Roaring Nights" it's a fun event for adults only. fill of music in different areas of the zoo and food trucks like Paradise ice cream and kogi. You get to see all animals get fed it's a fun experience.

With every zoo visit comes people craziness. We could not escape at least one group of visitors that were a bit oblivious to the fact that there might be others trying to enjoy the animals but it happens...

There's free parking and enough exhibits to make it difficult to see them all in one visit.

Cool place to have a picnic or explore. Matches well with a trip to the Griffith Observatory. Shakespeare in the park takes place here during its season and is quite fun ,(and free).

The best of the best to enjoy nature and animals as a family and only too.

My family has an annual pass to the Los Angeles Zoo because we love being able to get some fresh air and exercise while enjoying all the animals, which are clearly well cared for and provided the best "captive" lifestyle one could afford. While I always prefer seeing animals in the wild, I think the LA Zoo takes great care of their exhibits.

The zoo is the perfect place to bring your family for a few hours. There are some nice gift shops and plenty of food options scattered around the park. Grab a cold beer while you're there and a fresh slice of pizza just past the flamingos!

I'd recommend getting here at 10am when the park opens and being out by 1 or 2pm as that's when it tends to get pretty hot, driving the animals to the shade. And get yourself a pass - seriously worth it.

I watched a Silver back gorilla poop a perfect snickers into his hand "tender morsel." He then enjoyed the tasty treat. That was damn near 35 years ago. It's seared into my mind - etched for eternity.

I love the underrated Los Angeles zoo. Much better than the overrated Diego County zoo.

We have a membership and it is so worth it. My sons love the zoo and it is so fun to spend an hour or two or maybe even the whole day. The animals seem very well cared for and there is so much to do.

Even though it was raining my family and I had lots of fun.

Highly recommend you visit for Christmas lights!!! Worth it!!!

Lots of animals were inside and you get lost easily it feels like you walk in circles

Zoo was nice. Kind of small compared to the San Diego zoo. My kids had fun.

They really poor in exhibition of the animals they they should advice people before to buy tickets so no body wast there time in this place

Great time! My 18 month old loved it! It's not as big as San Diego Zoo but its actually a good thing cause the animals are easier to see. There exhibits are on the small side so you will most likely get to see all of them. Not crowded when we went on a Friday. We will definitely go again!

Animals, and I wore a long sleeve at 89 or ninety degrees, not the best idea

I live the zoo been coming here since my father used to work here, such a fun place I feel some things can be a bit pricey honestly. Like the mingle with the flamingos was $25 and no one was in there so that was a bit overpriced but I love this place nonetheless.

Great zoo to visit with family. Hills are not too big for all ages to handle

Lots of great exhibits and you can find shady spots. Expect to walk ALOT.

I'm not a big supporter of Zoo's but I liked this one. Not crowded, fast line to cashiers, easy to find a parking.

I like coming to the zoo. Many cute animals. I like the food that is available also. Reasonable prices. I also like that there is a Bank of America atm available.

The winter night lights experience is a great deal for the price. It's not overly crowded and we can see a few animals.

Went to This Zoo was excited but when I saw the animals I felt bad for them they look sad and depressed. Also there is a lot of bees everywhere especially on the picnic tables and half of the animals you couldn't see.

Beautiful place but there was a lot of closed exhibits and many of the animals were not in their area but maybe I went at feeding time. Make sure to bring your own snack because everything is overpriced!

Very nice place and fun to spend the day with the family. You can get a yearly pass which is a really good deal if you want to keep going back.

This zoo is a disappointment now. When I was a kid this place use to be packed with animals, now it's just a bunch of empty spaces. If you want to pay to take a walk be my guest. You're better off at a park were you'd probably see more animals than in the LA Zoo

Great exercise while enjoying the animals. My kids love brushing the goats. There is a play park for kids as well, with picnic area. You can feed the giraffes.

I love seeking out the new animals at the zoo and learning about their backgrounds. They have such a wide range of animals that it really takes almost 3 hours to see everything. The trees are all In Bloom right now so it looks lovely.

He is very father to spend a family day and if you can spend with drinks .. Then if you save on drinks

The LA Zoo was amazing only downfall was each bathroom I went into was out of toilet paper... but other than that very clean Place great food, good souvenir shops. Awesome animals! Great walk!
