Custom Cupboards Inc. Review

Don't expect your order to be the correct size, arrive on time, or for anyone to answer the phone to deal with your complaints even during regular business hours. I understand this is a small company but at least hire enough staff to actually manufacture and ship the products you're selling within the time frame given. Also answer the phone occasionally, unless you're cutting corners there too. I doubt this company will be in business much longer with their current practices.

I have used them many times. They do great work and are quick to fix any issues.

I'm a project designer that works for a remodeling company. RD Henry is one of our lines of cabinetry that we work with. We find the RD Henry cabinetry allows clients to get a fine furniture finish, high quality material, endless options/customization at a really competitive price point. As a designer, I love having a direct relationship with our cabinetry brands and our reps work for the RD Henry brand itself. They are always willing to help us out, and more importantly, help out our clients. When things come in damaged (which is inevitable in the remodeling/building business) they are quick to rush a replacement item out to us. Highly recommend this brand. I have been in the cabinet business for forty years. I have found RD Henry cabinets to be an excellent value for my customers, Their finishes are superb, they are extremely easy to customize and bring to the perfect size. I am very pleased to be an RD Henry dealer, they are not owned by a huge corporation, it is a closely held company that demonstrates excellence in all the products that they produce.

I have a kitchen remodeling business and we install RD Henry cabinets. We have 40+ carpenters who are extremely opinionated when it comes to the quality/finish/construction of a cabinet. If they don't like a cabinet, I hear about it. But our carpenters love these cabinets and have had so many great things to say after installing! We've worked with many, many different cabinet brands, but we've had great experience with RD Henry, both in quality of product and quality of service. In terms of price, it really is an exceptional value. The finish is superb and construction is top notch, we feel our customers get a premium product at a mid-range cost. Being in the business, we know damaged boxes and doors are inevitable, typically a result of the shipping process. Any time we find a box or door comes damaged, we immediately reach out to RD Henry and they ship us the replacement pieces very quickly. Our customer service rep at RD Henry, Angel, is great at handling any issues that come up. Looking forward to installing more!

We did our entire house with Custom Cupboards (previous name) when we were building our new home. I felt like they were a good value for the money and well built. HOWEVER, we had a few missing items and a few items that were damaged during building. Four months later and I am still waiting on those items. One wall cabinet was missing its shelves. The distributor in town notified Custom Cupboards of this. Two months later they finally said they found them or made new shelves. So the distributor came out to install them only to discover that they were the wrong size. Two months after that until we got the correct size shelves. I would not recommend them if you are on any sort of schedule.

Update: I'm dropping my rating now. We had a drawer front that was scratched during building. The first time they delivered a replacement, it was a door front, not a drawer. Two weeks ago, they finally delivered a new drawer front....which was scratched. So, we've lived in our house for five months now and I'm still waiting on correct, undamaged parts.

I'm a designer at a kitchen and bath design firm who is a dealer of RD Henry cabinetry. I have enjoyed designing with their products and love the customization and storage options they offer. The artisan finishes are beautiful and I find their custom match finish option very competitive when compared to other lines. Customer service is always prompt to address issues if and when they come up. If you're looking for affordable custom cabinetry for your project then RD Henry is a great option to consider.

We are a dealer for RD Henry and always use RD Henry cabinets for our higher end jobs. Quality is great, they have tons of options and can even do custom if needed. Customer service is always responsive for us and always helps if we have any questions, and are great with any items needing warranties. When we receive the cabinets, delivery is easy - never damaged or missing pieces and help all the way through even after installation. We're always very happy with RD Henry products and selections. Below is a kitchen I designed with custom swiss coffee painted cabinets and a packaged oak stain, turned out beautiful!!
