Wonderful church! I love how Pastor Dudley does not sugar coat the biblical text, he tells you exactly what it says. Wonderful volunteer staff. The atmosphere is very friendly. Great church!

Wonderful place to worship. You can really feel the Spirit of God at this Church. Hear the word preached the way it was meant to be heard.

I've been attending Shepherd for almost 3 years now and It truly is a church based on God's word. From the worship, the Pastors and speakers, hospitality, the NUMEROUS ministries they offer Is like no other. It a place to get fed spiritually while feeling the love from God's people. Stop by and see for yourself.

I m uplifted here. Pastor(s) teach..different from preach! And I ll tell you I am no longer afraid - what a gift. If you re reading this and wondering... please just come. Please.

This church is amazing! They had an event for the children and it was above and beyond anything we could have expected. The kids loved it.

Great presents on worship and ministries, you can feel it.

I have college and high school age children, who appreciate the worship, special music and teaching. This church is great place for unchurched families and for families who are seeking to continue to grow in their faith. We have our own family church, but enjoy attending Shepherd, for Christmas, Easter and 4th of July fireworks. The preaching really is solid Biblically, but has strong passion, relevant illustrations, and brings perfect balance of humor... The music is second to none.

You will walk away saying, "wow, what a great God".

Doesn't fit what I'm looking for in a church seems to vain for Me!!!!

Pastor Dudley preaches the gospel as it is. Praise and worship team is good as well.The people are friendly. There is a good children and youth service for all ages, too.

They have a great children's ministry & youth ministry. The staff here are very nice. The preaching is awesome. The Good news is spoken at this church!

If only we could take this place with us everywhere we moved. Dudley is humorous, but bold; and unapologetic about the message while loving with the delivery. Diverse members; large interior; and all around friendly volunteers - I mean who could not be grateful for the tram drivers! God bless you!! A true gift. Great programming, and very responsive staff as well. Monday night men's group is great - from all walks of life.

These guys literally ask for a 10% of your earnings. I never understood why following God involves giving up 10% of one's earnings. I guess they need to pay the bills and pay for the extravagant church! The sermon should be longer and less singing! I do enjoy the topics about death.

Lost a Soul
So, I decided to visit Shepherd Church today, to see if this is a potential church I could attend (that is closer to home). The praise and worship was good, the message was also good (Salvation Message for those on milk). During the alter call or call to salvation-being conducted by the Pastor-a young man (early 20's) was excited to be saved. As he was approaching the alter I heard him say something to the extent "I want to go to heaven"-he was clearly new to the church/first time visitor-and I looked at him and saw his excitement to accept salvation. Before I new it one of the security guards did a Push & Grab. Side Bar: why does a man of THE God who is omnipresent, who is our protector and will not allow a hair on his childs head to be harmed need body guards? This baffles me, is it just me? God is my protector. So he pushed him so hard I heard the thump, then grabbed him by his tshirt and "dragged" by pushing him backwards saying (in an aggressive tone)"what are you doing up here, your not supposed to come right now"! (Mind you the other gaurd came from across the room ready to rumble also). How is he to know? I was right in the front row. What if I wasn't saved and I decided to go up to the alter before "time"? It is custom that as the call to salvation is taking place the people approach the alter. Who knew that you have to wait until the words "ready, set, GO!" (sarcasm but you get my drift) are spoken? Would I have been assaulted too? There was a better way to handle the situation being this is the church SOP. The guard could have operated in Agape. My first reaction was dissapointment, then hurt in my heart. I had to hold my tears back. Today the enemy won and we lost a soul, TODAY. I pray that young man does not allow this experience to keep him from salvation.

I stopped by their Pillars Coffee shop within the church to get coffee. I think they serve Maxwel coffee.

This is a great church. Been here a few times but the drive is worth it. The campus is open and inviting and the cafe has variety to choose from. Very organized but not overbearing. Great church.

This church believes in the power of prayer. Wonderful pastor and prayer team. Congregation and many supporting others. Learning so much. God loves us so much.

Pastor Dudley's messages are powerful and pierce straight through to my heart. It's as if he knows what I'm going through and as if God is talking directly at me through him. Pastor Dudley doesn't let fear of being politically correct stop him from speaking truth, God's word straight from the Bible. The praise team is the best. It feels like being at a concert every weekend.

This past Sunday was my first time going the day after my birthday it was a beautiful moment

It is truly a good place to go alone, with friends, and/or family. You will feel welcomed and accepted no matter where you are at in your spiritual walk. Everyone should visit this church. Its diversity in truly a resemblance of heaven.

All are welcome, all nations, people, sizes, shapes, skinny, fat, tall, short, all colors, it doesn't matter, all it matters is your heart & obedience, willingness to change or start fresh. Just walk in as u are. Church is for people struggling not perfect, like hospital for the sick.

This is a huge church and I thought I could stay anonymous but God sent the Holy Spirit and I got involved in several ministries including Lift Up Jesus. Through that ministry I became a part of helping others and glorifying God.

Our home away from home with kind people & most importantly the Word.

Love it ! Changed my life a whole 360 and now my wife and I couldn't be any more happier , we love the pastor and our kids learn so much from the program they have for kids but overall life changing

Just got home and watched fireworks and this wonderful event that happens so nice and clean and all the deputies is so nice and they put a lot of times and hard job this event we really appreciate shepherd church for sharing us this wonderful event and very thankful for those people on the church that they've helped so hard to work out this event again thank you so much happy Fourth of July

The Lord never fails to reveal something through our Pastor or guest speakers. The Holy Spirit will ALWAYS touch you though the worship team. And your batteries will be energized for your week. Love it!

Great church! Very well organized for the high demand of visitors. Church volunteers serve in many areas to make enjoy to the fullest a great spiritual experience. There are lots of parking available and great Christian programs throughout the year. I visited the church for an all day Women s Conference event and I was delighted! Great place for praising God.

Very clean, high energy. No push for anything. Nice set up for children .

I have been here for most of my life, since i was 5 mabye... I am 12 now, and this church still never makes me feel old. They have a selection of the best preacher, and the best topics. I never got bored in this church. There is even a playground for toddlers, and a service, for children. There is a tram service which you get to the building faster. I know many people that go here. Best church.

The church is amazing!! I love hearing the word of god, when I went to my old church it was very boring, but going here always get me excited for Sunday!! The singing is beautiful the sermon is wonderful Dudely is a very funny and relatable pastor, Im thanking the lord that he brought me to this wonderful place, I have been attending here since 2009!

I've been to many churches and this is the best one by far, Pastor Dudley is a great speaker and his messages are so powerful, he digs deep into the word of God and makes sure it's understandable to everyone. God definitely speaks through him and every time I have gone the sermon always relates to something I'm going through. Incredibly amazing!! Definitely recommend hearing him speak!!

This is one of my favorite places to be! I have been here for over 6+ years and have participated in many of the events. The people here are for real and truly love Jesus. Pastor Dudley is amazing and is an excellent teacher of the word. You walk away having learned something new and having been treated well. Dudley's story of why he wanted a multi-racial church is inspiring and reminds me that there are obedient Pastors in the world who want to make a difference and train those who want to know, who God really is. I love working with the 2 year olds monthly as they keep me on my toes :) They have snacks on sunday (bagels with cream cheese, doughnuts, juice, coffee) and on saturday evenings, they sometimes have food trucks. I must say that SOTH (Shepherd of the Hills) is one church that truly gives back to their volunteers. I have a great beach chair, water bottles, shirts, gift cards, amazing dinners at the church (catered & donated by Outback Steakhouse & Macaroni Grill). We all volunteer as a family at various events and the kids actually enjoy themselves. They also have great music!!!!!!!! Its really a fun and cool place to go. Shepherd has the most AMAZING JULY 4TH SPECTACULAR! If you've never gone, you truly are missing something big!!!!!!!!!!! There are soooooooooooooo many food and fun vendors its ridiculous. This year was especially cool to me. This year the staff stopped a guy who was passing out religious information at the church event. You would think that's fine? It's a church having a community event. Well, they stopped him because that's exactly what it is, a community event. Church service is on Saturday & Sundays and that wasn't time for church! It was time for community bonding and celebration! Wow what a message! I am constantly reminded how great this church is and why I come. It NOT without problems, but its how they work it out that impresses me.

This place is juicy, fresh and organic!

Best church in the world! Very diverse and accepting of all races which is extraordinary! They preach and teach from the Bible so no watered down PC sermons. They have tons of activities for the youth. My daughter has been participating in their youth church since 4th grade and is now in the 11th. I couldnt ask for a better place

Visiting from Las Vegas and Shepard Church reminds me so much of the crossings where I go every Sunday. I was brought here by someone who regularly attends. Words can t sat how amazing the service is here! The message is so powerful and God is working so brilliantly through the pastors. For a church it s size all the volunteers do an amazing job from parking, seating, and all throughout service. The Bible plan for 2019 looks so blessing and hopefully I will be able to attend many more joyful services here!! Thank you all to volunteer and serve here!!!!

Freedom church is better ok maybe not better because no matter where or what church you go too. It's all the house of god I jus had bad experience over at shepherd that's all but I go to freedom church now

I ve been looking for a home church since I ve moved to la and I finally came to check this one out and was not disappointed. Worship service felt awesome, and the pastor message is clear, and gets you to participate. I love coming here, volunteers are also very kind and accommodating.

This is my church and place of worship. The service is beautiful and I feel like going to this church has bettered me and brought me closer to God. This church also gives back alot to the community and is everything a church should be.

Love the pastor, the people, the singing. And the worship is amazing. I love applying gods word to everyday life.

Pastor Dudley is old school in a good way. He teaches the bible as it stands and applies modern application to reveal Gods word.
