Lovely bar area. Reasonable prices for drinks. Staff were efficient and polite. Would go again.

I have been going here for the sunday carvery for the last two months. Really good food and value for money. I highly recommend this place for a Sunday meal.
I spent one night at the Grange Moore for a business trip. The room was clean and tidy, with a single bed, with a nice shower in the bathroom. The staff is welcoming, and the restaurant has an appealing look, the food was good as well. Ratio price/quality was good. Recommended.
Lovely room. Perks were free car parking.
Hot water gets very hot and so do pipes in bathroom but no warning signs so be careful.
Church bells also ring for what seemed forever on Sunday morning.
All being said we would stay again.
Was spending holliday in Kent Uk and stayed in the hotel. Staff is helpfull and hotel is walking distance to the Maidstone town centre. Restaurant food is great and the nice garden helped in summer temperatures. Would deffinetley recommend.
Grange Moor Hotel has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are helpful yet not at all obtrusive allowing you to have a relaxing stay,
The resturante provides wholesome and tasty food and is good value, used by many visitors as well as locals for their annual occasions.
The functions are well attended and greatly enjoyed too.
There is a comfortable bar area for a drink and place to read and or chat.
All in all I would recommend it for both business and visitors to the area.
Its ok for a one night stay if you are either working in the area or on a very tight budget
Attendance of a first aid course, the Moor room we had was small and a little dated. The hotel is well located close to town. Tea and coffee was fine.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Loaned me an adapter to charge my phone. Overpriced hotel for the quality. Room was clean but hotel smelled like smoke and some outlets in the room didn't work.
Great place, service very friendly and welcoming.
Food was excellent both at breakfast and for dinner.
The location was was perfect for me, room size was good and very clean. Really good value for money.
Not good, poor cleaning. Chewing gum on dado rail.hair in shower, front door dirty
Disappointing food. Music too loud while eating. I've been here before and always liked it. Not so much this time
Very satisfied with my stay.. clean well furnished rooms. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Location was an easy walk into local restaurants and bars would recommend anyone stay there
The room was a little different than what was in the pictures but ok
Seemed a bit too rough around the edges for me, but the service was good
Lovely place to stay, the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much hassle, I'd stay again
We live near the Grange Moor Hotel, and love popping in for a meal. Their food is amazing, try the smoked salmon salad and the fish and chips.
Very good value
Staff are excellent great attention to detail. Food lovely and we'll presented.
Great staff and great service, definitely recommend :)
Quiet room even when an event was going on downstairs, good shower and space and a really good breakfast in the morning. Cracking place
Cold rooms. net stopped working after 2 hours. hopelessness
I stayed for 1 night with a last minute booking. I arrived late but the night porter was extremely helpful and friendly. He also gave me some knowledge on the local area. The room itself was quite nice, the shower was good and the bed was comfy. It's what you'd expect for the price point. I would recommend
Research before you book. Overflow accomadation out of date and you may find your not in the hotel..express your acomadation needs and access when booking...
I attended a family anniversary party in one of the event rooms at the Grange Moor. The food was excellent as always and the service was attentive without being intrusive.
Seems very good room ok friendly staff beer good, nice building beer garden and so on
We stayed there for nearly two weeks, what wonderful people.
Went for a Sunday carvery, good food reasonably priced, pleasant experience
Good solid 3 star independent hotel...
But it is the staff that take it from 3 to 4* in a review sense in my view. The rooms are all different, but found the whole place exceptional clean. The staff here do seem to want to do what they can into make this a good place. Rooms are what you would expect from a 3* property that is within a 10 to 15 min walk into the main Fremlin Walk shopping area. Parking is free and rooms are all different. Also one positive for me. Is that the staff do actually read the "room/special requests" box when you make a reservation and actually did there best and explained there rationale for what they had done. That alone makes me want to book again.
Food was nice but decor could do with a bit of an update
This used to be a nice hotel. New owner's. Very much in your face. Will not be going there any more.
Had a Christmas day meal
Very busy there
Nice food. Good atmosphere.
This is popular for events as well as casual dining and as a hotel. It's outside the town centre, but near enough, and has good parking.
Always a nice welcome when you arrive and the food is very good
Stayed here for 4 nights and found staff great. Rooms could do with a little tlc, but comfortable and clean.
Room wasn't ready and I had paid extra for an early Check in. Asked for a 7am early call. I didn't get it!!
Some staff were rather rood and others were helpful. But i will not be going again.
Been there twice and both times food very good nice and clean
excellent venue for Christmas parties, food was expertly cooked, parking good and some good looking waiting staff.
Carvery was okay, some of food was well over done and no second helping. However for price which was reasonable cheap. Though other carvery I would recommend.
Good nights sleep and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable, although walls seemed thin; could hear people outside the room quite clearly in the mornings.
This was a good distance from town for a reasonable walk rather than needing to pay for a taxi; I'd likely stay again if I was in the area.
Food great service great. But to pay 3 75 for a pint of coke that was half filled with ice disgusting .shame they have lower the experience
Old fashioned but popular place
Bar, restaurant open to all.
Poor hospitality .Rooms need up date beds need replacing .food good .convenient
Went here for the Sunday carvery. Nice decor, good selection of vegetables & choice of 3 meats. The pudding was acceptable, but not great, but all-in-all a nice lunch at an ok price.
Christmas Day lunch
Table of 6 in moor room we haven t been to grangemoor for many years Xmas day we all throughly
enjoyed it we eat out every Xmas day Chantelle was are waitress couldn t fault anything my granddaughter had her christening there in sept2018 and it was excellent well done
Very cozy cottage. Very friendly personal. High quality food
Good value and portion sizes. Unusual interior like stepping back in time.
Had a great mother's Day meal here, good service if a bit quick to clear plates
Quiet and a bit remote for busy downtown. Close to Maidstone West rail.
Simple clean hotel. Great as a one night stopping off .
Using this venue for our slimming world group. Lovely gardens. Plenty of parking.
Brilliant location And brilliant staff rooms are good and cosy. Maybe would benefit from a special price drink and meal deal
Visited the Grange Moor Hotel's Sunday lunch carvery for my Dad's birthday. Food was very good, service was nice and location was nice and spacious and airy.
Venue is child friendly and had plenty of high chairs.
Ok, a bit outdated. The room was extremely small, the door from the loo looked like a cupboard because of the size of the room.
Stayed here for 4 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. Hopefully stay here again
Positives: close to town centre, free parking, very friendly staffs
Negatives: everything else... rooms quality are poor, noise, you will hear everything that's going on in other rooms such as tv, other guest talking, walking, breathing so forget about getting a good night sleep... We've stayed there twice and each time it was a terrible experience Just do yourself a favour and go somwhete else even if you have to pay more...
Visited UK again and stayed in Grange Moor Hotel for the second time during the first week of March. Weather was hostile but the stay in the hotel made up for it. Food was great, bed comfortable and the staff could not be more helpful. The experience was as good as when we stayed a couple of years ago. The hotel was busy as it seemed to have a lot of business people staying there but the check in was fast and efficient.
The hotel has free wifi free parking and the room rate included full English breakfast so all together made the cost of our stay was very reasonable.
Literally its worth staying here purely because of the chef this place has, the bloke is brilliant and looks after you constantly not even with just the food he literally helps out with everything. His food is the best hotel food i ve ever had by a distance. Made staying away from home with work actually bearable. I would recommend a dish but they were all amazing to be fair.
Great hotel, the staff are very friendly. The food is good. The room I had was well turned out and comfortable. I would come back again.
Booked this as we fancied a change from premier-lodge land. The hotel itself is fine, clean. 5 stars to the housekeepers, we had a lovely meal, 5 stars to the cooks. Location is very convenient. However we arrived on a thursday, there was a wedding, the music was LOUD. But at least it stopped at 11pm. We did what we were visiting for in the day (sadly a funeral that we had driven 300 miles for ) we came back to the room after eating elswhere. All was quiet and then BOOM! the music started again. Ibiza eat your heart out, our room was vibrating. My partner went to complain and said the sound was less offensive once out of our room. The bar staff apologised and we endured the vibrating room till midnight. It was only when we checked out that we were told we could have had a quiet room!! Way too late.. unless you are going to be part of the party make sure to ask about a quiet room.
