Hawaii is the best resort.

Hawaii is the best resort.
Counselor Staff Friendly I am impressed. The rooms, the swimming pool and the dining room are all perfect.
As a luxury resort of Hilton World Rope, it is good to arrange the arrangement from the landscape.

Atmosphere, artwork , museum, pools, gardens, shops of Grand Wailea Maui are quite beautiful and fun. Restaurant food is rather overpriced, and unfortunately the hotel can have a "snooty attitide", -rests on its reputation for class and beauty and forgets to be friendly and "'personal". Sometimes seems to hold a "too-high" opinion of itself that interferes with friendliness and common-sense courtesy.

Very grand indeed. We didn't stay here but enjoyed walking around the grounds and checking out the lobby and shops. This proved to be the best cut through from the beach trail up to the shops at Wailea. Take the elevator up to floor 4 and then there is a pathway directly up to the ahops.

My husband and I were visiting Wailea for breakfast all the way from Kapalua. We liked this property so much that we spontaneously changed our plans and moved in for the last 2 nights of our Maui vacation. From the valet to the check-in to the service at the amenities and finally check-out, this place did not disappoint at all! Our room had a lovely view, the pool options are many, the beach is beautiful and the gardens at the property are gorgeous. We will definitely come back

Very nice place to stay. Room was very clean, spacious bathrooms, the grounds well kept, pools are nice and clean, loved the beach, food is ok, The Spa is most impressive and should at a minimum go and soak in the baths. Bring your wallet! Not a place to go and save money. This is a place to relax and indulge a bit.

Stunning property, super clean, with amazing, attentive staff. I would give 5 Stars, but the food is NOT good in the restaurants, and there is NEVER a kids menu with kid food on it. The food is too complicated, instead of focusing on making simple food amazing...they make complicated food that is AWFUL. I will give the breakfast buffet a big thumbs up, and the burger and onion rings at the bistro are amazing. Fix the foid...and itsi about as close to perfect as a resort can be!

What an amazing resort. The rooms have beautiful views, are very private and offer nice size patio. The landscape and the design are really something else. With out a doubt a 5 star resort. It would be hard to rate it any other way.

Beautiful hotel at a beautiful location. Once you're here, you don't need to leave. The beach, a pool, lazy river, night club, bar, restaurant, are all here at your fingertips. Love this place!

I was told to have an upgraded room, however it was an extremely noisy room, under the lounge, beside the ice machine. Noisy from 6 am till 12 am. Front desk staff was very indifferent to my request of getting a quieter room. Very unprofessional. Light outlet in the living room was broken. Took the engineer more than 30 mins to get in. Breakfast choices in the lounge were very limited.

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Wailea from 3-20 to 3-28 and we spent my Birthday there as well!! The Grand Wailea is by far the most luxurious resort, anything you request they make happen. They went above and beyond on my Birthday and made it more special as if they were possible!! We hope to return in the future

Condition of rooms (window view was nice) was acceptable albeit theres some room for improvement for the restroom (saw a small cockroach), honorable mention for giving us adjoining rooms, beds were perfect, hotel staff were for the most part polite and smiled, requested water boiler at night but it didnt get sent to my room till the next morning, hotel breakfast buffet was within expectations (miso salmon and eggs benedict are off-menu items but are included in the buffet) plus props for the omelette sauces and the blackberries, entrance and exit driveways to/from hotel could use much better lighting at night

This hotel is the absolute best hotel in Maui to take a family. The rooms are spacious, the property is gorgeous, and the pools and beaches cannot be beat. We plan to come back here every year.

Beautiful resort in the prime location of Wailea beach. Amenities from the pools to valet were all really nice. Service was outstanding. Didn't go to the spa at all but it seemed really nice from comments I overheard throughout the trip. I was hesitant about the cost but the Luau turned out to be a worthwhile experience. The Luau food was ok but the drink service and staged entertainment were amazing. Two bummers on room service and cleanliness, though: 1) Had to turn away room service every other time because of issues in not following specific (yet modest) requests. 2) Also had requested glassware in my room because our cups were visibly dirty, but the replacement set from housekeeping was just as dirty. I expected much more from a high end resort.

So this hotel had its pluses and minuses.

So this hotel had its pluses and minuses.

Plus: gorgeous, huge, pool was amazing and beach is unreal, breakfast is really good, water elevator is cool, valets were great (but you can only valet for $40/day no self-park option)

Minus: 45min to 1hr wait to get beach chairs if your lucky enough to even get them, Huma Restaurant was terrible and is super expensive, drinks are $20, Rooms were so so for what cost $500-800, $40 resort charge daily and not much in return.

I just don t know if it s worth the money for the hotel, just the location.

Absolute perfect resort for families with children. We brought our two boys (13 and 10) and stayed in the Napua Tower that included an amazing breakfast, afternoon tea, and a chocolate dessert option every night. The pools are great and they kept the kids busy. They even offer a bubble maker scuba class at the pool and the kids loved it. One of our best decisions was starting here for a few nights. Very impressed!

The resort is huge and has a number of different areas to hang out at, and even an area for adults only. The restaurants are food and I recommend the luau at the Grand Wailea. The hotel is big, so it can be a bit of a walk to different parts of the resort. The Grand Wailea also offers morning classes, including beach yoga!

I loved their swimming pools! There was a river that went around and if you went through the waterfall, you'd get to go inside a hot tub. If you kept going around, you get to go down a slide! Very fun!

Rooms are large but facilities are old. It is troublesome that parking fees are high and you must ask for a valley. I guess it should not be considered based on Japanese hotel standards, but the service was not worth the price.

It's truly a grand, magnificent resort that just misses the mark on a 5-star experience. The grounds are spectacular. The service is excellent. My main complaint is that they have a 5-star resort with 3-star beds. The mattresses in our Oceanview Deluxe room were old, uneven and lumpy. We requested a new mattress and if they did change it, it was replaced with another worn mattress. My only other niggle is that for Diamond members, there is no guest choice for continental buffet for breakfast, it is a prepared continental tray with the hotel's choice of muffin, fruit, etc. If you are staying multiple days eating the same selection it gets old and is not on par with other chains and properties who give you a full or continental buffet selection. The hotel stated Diamond upgrades are usually one room category upgrade, but they accommodated us with a multi-category jump which we were very appreciative of. The Humu Humu restaurant experience was magnificent. The $40/day valet service was generally prompt and included chilled water and optional beach towels for road trips. The spa services were very good if not a little dated and in need of some deep cleaning and new equipment in the common areas. The grounds, service and food get 5 stars, the rooms and spa 4. It is a grand resort, worth staying once. For me to choose this resort over other high end properties next time, I'd love to see them make the improvements suggested above.

This place was fantastic and exactly what you would expect from a Waldorf property. I spent all day on the lazy river sipping drinks. The water was so clean and the whole pool complex never crowded. The rooms and clean and have a wonderful view. This is a fantastic resort with the highest levels of service on Maui. Rent a car, drive the road to Hannah, its amazing. Swim at every waterfall!!
