I couldn't log into the account I recently created...

I couldn't log into the account I recently created, reset the password, but the temporary password didn't work. I contacted the customer service by live chat and was told by the rep Sullivan that my first order was cancelled because it's not available and therefore my account was deleted as well. I need to create another account and place a new order. I has many online accounts for online shopping and it is the first time I heard that the account was deleted since the first order couldn't be fulfilled. It doesn't make any sense! How can new customer check the status of the order if the account is deleted? No email notification about the order cancellation or account deletion. When I requested for the confirmation for cancellation by email, the rep said they just confirmed to me. First and last experience with this company!

I ordered some bio-degradable cutlery and cups online which I needed for my party.
every time that I ordered the website showed that my item was available, but after some days I received an email that not all items were available and they delivered my order partially, also instead of sending the rest of my order later, they cancelled them.
so I had to place my order 3 times.
the third time the estimation delivery date on my order was November 21, but I did not receive anything and when I called customer service, I was told that the item is not in the stock right now and it can be delivered in December which made me to cancel my order.
the website is not up to date and shows all items are available.

I got the funniest thing I have ever heard for shopping online! I ordered a couple of things on the website which were available , and when I checked out it said in about 7 days I will receive the items. After five days I see the delivery dates got pushed back. When I checked again after three days the delivery dates got pushed back again. Finally parts of the item got shipped about 2 weeks later, so I called to check when am I going to get the other parts. The answer I got was the other parts are backordered! And I can not return the other parts which was shipped out! So I asked the customer service why did it say available online? And the answer was it s available to buy but not in stock ! Seriously?! No wonder there are no more Grand and Toy stores, and this is probably going to be why there won t be any Grand and Toy online stores soon.

This is one of the worst companies to deal with. If they didn't have corporate accounts, they would have gone out of business long time ago. I placed an order for monitor two months ago - still waiting. I had to order with them because my company (who is paying for it under work from home arrangement) only allows employees to place order with them. You can buy better quality and much cheaper stuff else where.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a laptop at the end of March 2020. Was told it would take 3-4 weeks. It's been 3 months now. I've been phoning weekly+ since week 3 and told "it will come next week". No real solutions were given but to just wait. After a lot of pushing from my end they offered an alternative (that is worse imo) and made it seem like they were doing me a favour. It took weeks to finalize this with them as they did not return phone calls promptly. When the replacement finally arrived it is French. I don't speak French. I just want a refund now and I've been waiting 4 days while they "talk to their distributor". No accountability. No real solutions. No timely responses. 0/5 stars, would not recommend to anyone.

This company is flat out terrible. No wonder all their stores closed down. My order got lost twice and I have people from Alberta and India calling me on G&T's behalf asking me for contact information i provided 3 times already. NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Very disappointed at the bad business sense this company has. I received a notification online of an item on sale at the Grand & Toy website, but as I went to click to their website, their website would crash. I even tried directly typing in their website but the site continued to crash. After a few hours of trying i took screen shots of the item on sale and sent an email to customer service. I wrote that they should "honor" the sale price of the item because it was due to a technical issue on their end that i was not able to get the item. No response! I spoke with 3 customer service reps on 3 different occasions and everytime i was told that a manager would call within 24hrs....2 weeks later a manager calls me just to tell me that he would have to call me back so he could look into it.
This is when it even gets worse! I was told that there was a "glitch" in the system and that the item was not on sale and therefore they could not do anything for me. If i walked into an actual store and an employee accidentally tagged an item wrong (happens often) it would only make for good business sense for the company to honor the stated price. Or at least find some alternative solution for the error. Especially if the customer (me) had invested soo much time in their store trying to buy the item.
This is just another reason why Grand & Toy has lost soo much business in Canada. Better customer service keeps customers coming, bad service does not!

Please do not make any purchases with this company. Their business practices are terrible, and their customer service is just as bad. There is a reason that they have had to close all their retail stores. Please shop elsewhere.

Worst experience I've ever had with online ordering. Customer service is usuless and can't even spell correctly when replying via email. I was told they were sorry for the "incontinence" it may have caused me.
Jokes aside, I recommend not ordering anything from them online, mainly because I get the feeling they don't really have their act together. My order took 48h to even show on my account's dashboard. I had to reach out to ask about my order's status and that's when they informed me it was on hold for some reason on the vendor's side (that's right, Grand & Toy wasn't selling the item, some other vendor was.). A few hours after that I see the charge to my credit card and a change in status on the dashboard. Because I felt all of this was kinda shady I kept asking for updates, after a day or 2 they email me saying the item is discontinued and I'd be getting my money back. I called back again and Customer Service didn't even know about this email and my order still showed as "in progress" to the representative. I am now waiting for further developments and I honestly can't recommend them.
I just saw a good deal but apparently it was too good to be true. Just go with Best Buy... never had any issues with Best Buy nor their Marketplace sellers.

These guys are a complete joke, incompetent and dishonest.
I was told via email that my money was to be refunded and my order cancelled (read above).
My money was refunded back to my credit card but the order was left on my online G&T account as "being processed". Because of this (I'm guessing) my credit card was charged once again today and customer service was useless when I contacted them. All they do is send emails between departments and there's a complete lack of proper communication between them. One doesn't seem to know what the other does.
I asked for my money back and for my card info to be deleted but the representative told me all she could do was send emails to the credit department... this is unacceptable!!!
Oh and their reply to this review is just for show. I was never contacted and nothing was done about it.
[This review was left on another Google maps location on 44 Frid Street, Hamilton. Both locations share the same website and I actually got a reply on the other location. Not sure what's going on but I'll leave the review here as well].

Buyers beware and stay away from this business.
I recently had one of my worst experiences ever with a merchant and this was with Grand & Toy. I ordered a wide screen monitor and realized 2 days later that it was cheaper at the manufacturer website so i called to see if they price match. I was told they don't which was fine so i proceeded to return the item. This item was sitting in my house for 3 weeks and they kept saying someone had come to pick it up and they failed. First they said they needed my number, then it was my buzzer number and lastly they said there was an issue with the courier company they use. I had to call the customer service everyday and was promised every time that someone is coming the next day. The last agent I spoke with promised that i would get my money back and promised the item would be picked up by their warehouse staff. This was more than a week ago and i still have not received my refund. I have also been in contact with their customer resolution and they failed to help me. Now i have to pay interest for an item that was supposed to be returned within 7-10 business days.
The funny thing is that even though i ordered the exact same product from the manufacturer, i received it sooner than my order from G&T.

Not happy with their online purchasing. I accidentally ordered the wrong size of pens, called then two hours after the order was order was placed, it hadn't been shipped, and asked to simply change the pen size--same price as the pens I paid for.
It would have been simple to do.
Instead they tell me they can't do that, they have to ship it, once i get they said they will exchange it.
That seemed ridiculous to me but I couldn't do anything about it.
So once I get the order I call them and yes they will do something, but I have to make a return, purchase the item again, and pay for shipping, which is hardly worth it on a small order like a box of pens.
They made no effort to find a better solution.

Honestly after ordering a webcam and been it s been sitting on order processing for almost a week and after reading all the comments about this company I think I wasted 150$ I don t recommend ordering anything off them if they don t contact me soon to refund me or send my webcam I ll be getting them taken down
