Very disappointed at the bad business sense this company has. I received a notification online of an item on sale at the Grand & Toy website, but as I went to click to their website, their website would crash. I even tried directly typing in their website but the site continued to crash. After a few hours of trying i took screen shots of the item on sale and sent an email to customer service. I wrote that they should "honor" the sale price of the item because it was due to a technical issue on their end that i was not able to get the item. No response! I spoke with 3 customer service reps on 3 different occasions and everytime i was told that a manager would call within 24hrs....2 weeks later a manager calls me just to tell me that he would have to call me back so he could look into it.
This is when it even gets worse! I was told that there was a "glitch" in the system and that the item was not on sale and therefore they could not do anything for me. If i walked into an actual store and an employee accidentally tagged an item wrong (happens often) it would only make for good business sense for the company to honor the stated price. Or at least find some alternative solution for the error. Especially if the customer (me) had invested soo much time in their store trying to buy the item.
This is just another reason why Grand & Toy has lost soo much business in Canada. Better customer service keeps customers coming, bad service does not!
