Loved our 1 bedroom suite! Gorgeous decor, friendly service, and close to so many activities. Enjoyed the pool, free concerts and mountain vistas. Provide valet parking, spa on site, as well as two great restaurants. Enjoyed the kitchen in our suite and the 'lather' brand soaps and lotion infused with essential oils. Would definitely stay there again!

It's been an extremely long time since my wife and I have been able to get out of town for vacation so we wanted to stay somewhere nice and easy. While using several search tools online to find the right hotel Grand Summit continued to pop up as highly recommended. Now, on our last day here, I too can say that I highly recommend it. From the valet to front desk everyone was extremely kind and they also seemed to really enjoy their job. The pool was just right, as was the hot tub. The 1 bedroom suite is the way to go, as I have not seen the other rooms I can only speak to the suite. But very spacious, clean and very important up to date. It's always frustrating to get out of town, get to ur room only to find a subpar TV or a noise fridge. We will be back... sooner rather than later! Happy wife, happy life!

Great room. Front desk always willing to help. Great ski in-out. Ski school for kids meet almost right out the back door. Valets great and always upbeat, smiling. One BR suite nice with 2 kids. The spa leaves a lot to be desired...the massage was great but the accommodations did not begin to match the service!!!

The location is great, but for $200+ per night, we were disappointed in our stay. The jets in the tub didn't work, the tub water came out rust colored at first, the coffee and creamer were expired as well as a drink from the vending machine. The fireplace didn't work and our headboard was broken. Luckily we had booked the hotel through a ksl deal so we didn't spend near as much as what is regularly charged. We won't be staying at the Grand Summit Hotel again or recommending it to others.

Great position with back entry literally onto the slopes. Ski valet a little under whelming, only stores skis, no boots or poles which is a little frustrating.

Rooms are spacious, we have a 1 bed suite for this stay. Housekeeping leaves a little bit to be desired; too often you come back and small things like refilling to coffee and half and half all missing. No refills on in room water since we arrived 5 days ago.

All in all, just takes the edge off what is otherwise a good hotel in a great position.

Staff are friendly and welcoming and remember your name which is a nice touch especially the valet parking team, very attentive and helpful.

Breakfast buffet is a little on the pricey side vs the quality of food available, no changes to daily offerings from one day to next. Staff in The Cabin are always very pleasant and welcoming.

So all in all, a good hotel that has a superb location and with a bit more attention to the small but important details, would get from us, a 4/5 star rating instead of 3.

The rooms are cozy and the restaurant selection is good and they're also convenient. Loved the pool, but everyone in our party was really itchy afterward. We loved the concert series in the village and riding the gondola.so up the mountain.

The hotel is gorgeous and has this cozy cabin feel to it. Our patio looks onto the mountains with a beautiful view. The room was also very reasonably priced. The room service is fine. The food is underwhelming but the service is good. The location of the hotel is also in a good spot, right near main Street in Park City. Checking out High West Distillery is a must even if you're not a whiskey drinker.

We stayed in a studio room which had almost a full kitchen- Plenty of space, comfortable bed, good lighting in bathroom; service and housekeeping were great. Ski in/out was convenient and we appreciated the free shuttle service to Main street. Only complaints: VERY slow internet, and room service add- on of $4 plus 18% gratuity- we should have been informed of this when ordering by phone as I tipped extra, upping our bill by $22.00. We always tip well but don't appreciate the person taking order or delivery person not letting us know about charges.

I don't think I'll ever spend what we did on this hotel ever again. $240 for a room where the AC barely worked, the shower was grimy, there was no mini fridge or anything to keep drinks in we literally kept them on the balcony to keep them cold. And the coffee provided for the coffee machine isn't made to go in that machine, so you wind up with tons of grounds in your coffee. The best part is we had to brew it in the bathroom because there was no outlet where they put the coffee machine itself. I've paid about $100 less to stay at a hotel that was twice the size and had the proper amenities such as a fridge. I booked this hotel thinking it would be a nice getaway and really it was just meh. Then paying the resort fees on top of it.. I would recommend looking elsewhere whether you're planning on skiing or not. What you're really paying for with this hotel is the convenience of it being next to a mountain with an OK view and a fireplace lol. But as for comfort when in your hotel don't expect much.

We were very excited to stay at this hotel because of the location but it misses the mark. We booked our hotel in advance and asked for joining rooms and stressed that this was very important to us; when we showed up the rooms couldn't be any further apart. We wanted to store some food in the room fridge...no fridge in theses rooms.

Disappointing and If your debating between this an other hotel - I would just pick the other one.

Beautiful place, well located. Only one restaurant with very limited selection. All staff is friendly but they are all lost. They need some serious training. From front desk to room service.

Super cute hotel/lodge work great rooms and excellent views. I was here for work meetings and the amenities and food were fabulous. There were loud drilling noises that interrupted some of our meetings, but it is off-season (time to get work done around the hotel). I loved the soaps and shampoo/conditioner in the rooms...all natural products!

We stayed at the hotel for nearly a week. We had a standard room on the second floor. When we checked in we had picked up some fresh food from Whole Foods and were excited to put it in the mini fridge in the room - when we entered we couldn t find the fridge. So I called the front desk and they told us they were all out of fridges. The front desk said they would get back to us about a fridge when it became available and never heard back so our food went bad.

Next we noticed at night is gets extremely dry so they were so kind as to include a humidifier in the room - that was great but after an hour or two we figured out it was broken!

It was clear the employees are not that happy here, when you pass the cleaning crews or staff in the hallways they don t ever say hello or even smile at anyone. Also no one has cash on hand so be prepared to have cash to tip.

Food options in the hotel were quite poor. Every restaurant requires advanced booking so many times we had to drive 15-20 minutes into town to restaurants as the canyon village only has 2-3 restaurants and they are continually booked.

One evening we decided it would be nice after skiing to go to the jacuzzi & heated pool. It was around 7:30 and the pool area was filthy. There must have been a good 20-30 towels left out on the pool deck and near the spa. There was a floating water bottle in the spa. We did not stay very long and did not return for the rest of the trip.

Rooms - the standard rooms are tiny, also you can hear the neighbors like they are in the room with you. We had an adjoining door and we could clearly see into the neighbors room - who ever built this place did not insulate the doors or walls in between rooms - you can hear everything. The TV s are nice and new, beds were comfortable.

The one advantage this hotel has is location (ski in / out) but honestly this has a large motel vibe with lackluster food and service. Not a good value in my humble opinion. We were traveling with another family and they said the same thing!

The Hotel overall was good. Some Ups and Some Downs. The biggest up overall is the location, ski in & out right next to the "orange bubble express" lift couldn't be better. The free shuttle to main street in park city on the hour was useful as well. The rooms were good and the suite we stayed in was nice, especially with the fireplace! The housekeeping on the other hand was a nightmare. We had three rooms overall for us and friends and none of them were made up once we got back from skiing (despite being on different floors) , this was especially annoying as once we got back we wanted to relax but then half and hour later a housekeeper was hoovering under our feet, we contacted the housekeeping manager and asked for our room to be made up for when we got back at around 4 and it was done for the rest of our stay (I would recommend doing this straight away). there was also rubbish, dirty sheets and housekeeping carts making the corridors a bit of a maze to navigate, but that is enough moaning. Skiing was excellent we, visited during the busiest period (over Christmas and new year) and the longest wait for the lift was 4mins which I must say is excellent. When taking your skis out in the morning from the ski valet make sure you do it before breakfast otherwise there can be a queue during peak times. Overall i would stay here again mainly due to its location.

We stayed in a king studio and it was fantastic! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was huge! It was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.
We would love to stay here again!
We got breakfast via room service and highly recommend the brioche french toast.

My family and I have gone here for the past two ski seasons, and I do not regret it. It is so nice to be right at the mountain. Only place I think you can be in a hot tub while it snows.

We loved the night we stayed here! The service was fantastic and the room was beautiful. We stayed in the Studio which is described as having a "kitchenette", but it was a full kitchen! Highly recommend the Grand Summit Hotel and look forward to staying there again!

Finest setup in all of Park city (or all of Utah or all of USA?!) as it s an amazing condo hotel with great amenities, and it s quite literally steps from the iconic orange bubble express chairlift (long high speed quad, with heated seats, and a bubble to shield you from the weather if needed!). You are literally RIGHT AT THE LIFT. Hotel is amazing with modern mountain decor, balconies, fully equipped kitchens with granite/SS appliances, huge flat screen TVs, and more. The hotel has 5-star rock resort spa, outdoor year-round, heated pool and hot tubs, sauna steam bath, and terrific onsite restaurants and right in the Canyons Village with ski/bike rentals, more restaurants/bars, concerts, events etc. And once again with access to great lifts to get you access to more than 7,000 acres of terrain (the largest resort in USA). Enjoy!

Mitchell at the front desk accommodated our room requests and made sure to set up a birthday treat, which was top notch. We had a fantastic stay, enjoying the pool and hot tub during the off season. The amenities were great, too, and made for a very comfortable stay. A shout out to Grand Summit s front desk staff for their friendliness and flexibility. Thank you!

I reserved a room more than a month in advance for a friends wedding. While we were trying to settle into the room I cut my foot on an exposed staple sticking out of a gaping hole between the carpet & tile. I immediately called the front desk and asked them to send someone to come fix it. 30 min later maintenance came to our room and told us that we needed to move. I had to call the front desk to ask them what they wanted us to do, and was treated like I was a bother. I walked down to the front desk and was told they could cancel my reservation because they didn't have any other rooms to put us in. All hotels were sold out in the area, but the front desk didn't seem to care much. The manager offered to refund the room back to us if we decided to stay, we agreed with no where to go. It has now been over a month, 5 phone calls and numerous messages later I still have not received a refund or even a phone call back. Every time I call the manager is too busy or not available. I have never been treated like this in my life, the lack of hospitality was shocking. I usually don't write review, but have been treated so poorly I have to. Living in Salt Lake and visiting Park City often, I will be staying in other hotels from now on.

Our room was pretty nice overall, with beautiful views of the valley below. Good breakfast cafe, great concierge and valet too. Only complaint were the spa pricing, more than double what other local services charge, so we decided to pass. Would still recommend it!

Thought the staff was apathetic and burnt out. The valet had a bad attitude. This guy sits at a desk in the lobby. Ask him a question and he'll direct you to the front desk. The guy at the gift shop/cafe was very nice.

WATCH OUT.. I was charged two resort fees.. One prior to arriving. (paid in full for a discount) I was ok with the initial resort fee.

Second one upon checkout. It was hidden in the fine print that they may charge a second resort fee. I was not aware of this and was caught off guard as it was never mentioned to me. I also disputed during my checkout and they still charged me anyways.

Besides, what's the point of a resort fee when 90% of the resort is closed because of COVID.

Not fair, not right.

Oh my GOODNESS. My hubby and I were literally in shock when we walked through the front door of our room- we literally called the front desk to make sure here hadn t been some mistake and they hadn t upgraded us to a suite- nope!
The rooms are AMAZING. The main room had a king size bed with a master bathroom that has DOUBLE shower heads. They also had the most plush bathrobes on our bed waiting for us, as well as the softest mattress and pillows. The master bedroom was also equipped with complimentary water and Starbucks coffee!
The adjoining suite (which we did NOT know about when booking this room) has a FULL kitchen with your basic cooking pots, pans, and utensils- as well as dishes for all needs. I was actually excited to go grocery shopping (at the amazing Whole Foods down the road) just so I could cook in this kitchen. The adjoining room also has a MASSIVE TV, large seating area in both dining and living areas, and the most quaint seats that are right by the windows, giving you a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains.
The staff here are also very nice! Sean was our valet upon check in and was super friendly and helpful with finding recommendations to eat, etc.
The lodge has a ski lift that can equip mountain bikes in the summer, an adventure park, mini golf, and several restaurants.
We are SO pleased with our stay and will definitely come again in the future.

I m giving it five stars because of the location. The location is amazing. Right at the bottom of the gondola and bubble lift. Also, the ski school is right outside the door. The accommodations are quite spacious. The unfortunate part is everything that comes with Covid-but the hotel is very nice.
