The hotel was clean and orderly. The staff treated us with respect and kindness. The double room we had was filled with amenities. View from the upper floors are outstanding. If in were a skiing I would stay here.

The room is very large and spacious. Beautiful views and a nice balcony. Very close to everything in Park City. Very friendly workers. The pool is large and very clean. My only complaint is that the internet is terrible and not all the elevators take you to the parking lot.

We had a beautiful room with a awesome view.... The staff was very very helpful, the only complaint was the mattress they were pretty horrible, it was like sleeping in a bean bag chair. But over all a picturesque and appealing facility.

My stay this week was a little rocky. They offer valet parking, but I never saw the valet. The bigger issue was they only offer luke warm water in the room that's not adequate for a shower. I reported the problem at 12:30am and it hasn't been resolved by the time I checked out at 10am. I've stayed here a number of times before it was acquired by Rock Resorts and always had a great time.

The bed was super comfortable and room was clean. When booking online it said we d have a private hot tub-there wasn t (they did waive the resort fees), tv was broken, roller shade remote died, and coffee creamers had expired. I can see this being a great location in the winter time since it s conveniently next to the lifts, but I wouldn t waste your time booking with this hotel.

I have been to the Grand Summit a few times for meetings and events. The meeting space allows for large groups to get together. The building is in a great location and makes it easy to get up on the mountain.

I went to the Grand Summit Hotel to check out the facilities for a future company event. The staff were very helpful and answering all of our questions and making sure we had the right equipment and audio visual needed to make our event conference go well. There are many conference rooms available to use which should meet our needs for about 300 people that will be attending the conference. There are many local activities available to do including taking the tram up to a Lodge nearby. I'm very hopeful for our event to go well.

My family have been owners at The Grand Summit since 1997. We have spent many years, holidays, and family vacations here. I am disappointed in amenities as well as the house keeping or lack there of. Our unit had the front door not opening as well as the closet door unable to slide. We had to have engineering basically drill in our room for quite some time over our vacation to fix issues that should have been done during renovation. Even the engineer admitted that the doors should have been replaced and fixed. House keeping did not come unless we called for them and they would show up at 5:00pm doing a subpar job. You would think being owners as well as loyal as we are we would be a priority, unfortunately that is not the case.

Beautiful hotel but the service does not match. Customer service is terrible especially for a resort this nice. Issues are passed on from one person/department (even spoke with a manager twice) to another with nothing being accomplished. We've stayed at the grand summit every year for years and will not be staying again due to poor customer service.

Recently remodeled and clean. The service was kind and very respectful. The room was comfortable with a full kitchen, a couch, a king size bed, and a dinner table with 4 chairs. The views were beautiful. Overall, a fantastic hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. If you re not planning on sleeping, this is a wonderful place to stay. If you re planning on sleeping, be forewarned that the beds are terrible. Worst night of sleep ever. The front desk staff helped us switch rooms, which helped slightly, but they said that all of the beds are the about the same. They re super soft and there are deep sink holes where previous people have slept. If you try to sleep to the side of the sink holes you gradually slide back in. Back pain, neck pain, lack of sleep - for $250 per night, we would have done better to sleep on the floor. To top it all off, the front desk person said that they get complaints all the time, the beds are terrible.

I stayed at Grand Summit Hotel for a work conference. The room was just right for my wife and I. Compared to other venues, the conference area was spacious and the video projector setup was fantastic.

The conference was catered by the hotel, including a semi formal dinner one night. The food was delicious and plentiful.

The hotel is located in the mountains of Park City, Utah and the property was beautiful.

My one complaint was, the room our support team was setup in had EXTREMELY poor WiFi access and no cellular access. We write software used by credit unions and still had to be able to support them during the conference. To take calls, we had to leave the support area but to be available to answer questions for the people at the conference, we needed to be in the support area. Having such bad reception, made our job more difficult.

The view from our hotel room and the amenities are fantastic, we don't ski but there's access to ski lifts and plentiful ski rental shops just outside, several restaurants within the hotel and within close proximity, and tons of things to do. There's access to a 24 hour fitness center, 3 hot tubs and a pool outside, and a beautiful lobby. There's also access to a free gondola system that takes you down to the bus station where you can pick up a free bus ride to anywhere you would like to go in park city! Our only issue was that housekeeping was a little lackluster for us, several things were forgotten but overall the hotel does maintain a clean atmosphere.

It's a very nice hotel! The room was a tad bit smaller than I was expecting. But the quality of the room excellent. The bed was nicer than most hotel rooms slept like a baby. We ordered breakfast through room service and the lady that delivered it was very nice.

Horrible experiance. AC system would turn on and off in the middle of the night, causing a loud clanking which would wake us up, each time. The fireplace didnt work. There was food all over the floor, and we found 2 pills on the bathroom counter (my 4 year old could have found them and eaten them). DO NOT STAY.

Great hotel, right at the base of Park City. The gondola is right out the back door. The restaurants are kind of expensive, but the food is good. You can rent a mountain bike right here out how the trails. It's the prefect location for skiing in the winter.

The location was really nice. The view from the hotel was really good. However we we're in a North facing room with no shades on the windows and the sun came straight into the room at 6 am and woke us up. They should add some kind of sun shade. The room was really great we had a kitchen, so I was able to make our own breakfast. The door handle to the bathroom was briken. It kept falling off. My husband got stuck in the bathroom when the door handle fell off while he was in there. The pool was clean and warm.

This was my second year staying at this resort for a conference. While I have enjoyed my stay I was disappointed this trip in a few areas. 1. The bathroom specifically the tub seemed overly dirty. Likely staining but for a resort of this quality and price I do expect more. 2. On this trip I accidentally left my Yeti Tumbler in the room. The tumbler is unique as it was a promotional item with inscribed company name. I called the hotel about this less than 2 hours after leaving to see if they found it. The gal took my number and told me they would call me after checking. 2 days went by no call. I called back today and they say they did not find it. I know exactly where I left it sitting in the room. This tells me the cleaning staff took it. Very disappointed in this outcome and leaves me very uncomfortable staying here again.

Our room is nice and spacious. We have a 1br suite on the 5th floor. Plenty of room for me the husband and my 11 year old twin boys. The kitchen is nice and has a coffee pot, stove large fridge. This hotel is more than adequate for our week of skiing. It is still not set up to have the service like a 4seasons but that kind of stuff is easily overlooked by the generous room we have. The housekeeping staff is very pleasant and responsive. I haven't had much interaction with anyone else yet.

First of all, the valet service was outstanding: very efficient, polite, and friendly. The exterior of the hotel, and the main areas are aesthetically pleasing, but the rest is pretty standard hotel. We also rented a conference room (the "boardroom") and it was just okay. The TV didn't work with our MacBooks (no presentations!), and the AV person never showed up. The food was just... Okay. Not good, not great. The coffee provided was meh. Only the standard hot water, decaf, and fully leaded along with half-and-half, sugar (or Splenda or honey). From a fancy looking hotel I want to see better food, better facilities, coffee with a selection of different creamers, and potentially espressos. But, I should say that we were here for a professional event, and I did not stay in a room at this motel.

Favorite spot at the Canyons, Park City Mountain. The Gondola is 50 feet away out one side of the building and the orange bubble express lift is 50 feet away out the other side. If you stay in a room Valley facing, it is a little quieter and you get amazing views of the Uinta Mountains.

To be fair, I ve not stayed at this resort, however I m now having second thoughts regarding any booking because just moments ago one of their drivers was operating his vehicle in a reckless manner. He sped up to cut my wife and off, nearly sending us into the back of a large truck. If this is the quality of staff hired by this resort, anyone considering staying may want to make a different choice. Good thing there are plenty of other resorts to choose from in Park City.

The location is good, the room was so so, we requested a fresh set of towels and sheets, after house keeping skipped our room I checked into the front desk twice because several hours had passed with no housekeeping. I returned to the room at 8 pm with my sheets removed and no new towels. Then took them another hour to get the bedding and new towels in the room. Not the experience you want after a long day.

Not the best experience. Hidden fees, no fridge in the room, hot tubs weren't very warm, and my friend's room door wouldn't close and it took an hour for them to get her moved to a new room. Won't likely be staying there again. You could get the same level of quality for a better price elsewhere.

The Grand Summit hotel has a mountainous feel when you enter the lobby. Located next to a mountain, I felt at ease. The front desk is very helpful and has a baggage hold for you in case you need it. I stayed at the hotel for a business conference. The room was spacious and the view from my balcony was great. I had a issue with the tv in my room and maintenance was quick to come and fix it. The bath products were local and aromatic. I wound definitely recommend this lodging to others who are looking for a great view of the mountain and need a relaxing getaway.

Wow. This place is SO much better than I'd expected. And my expectations were high. Spacious yet cozy rooms with every amenity. Staff is fantastic: helpful, friendly, and kind. The treat is the location- obviously- at the base of the mountain near many lifts. The trails are really not for beginners - and I can't comment on the ski/snowboard school - but for experienced skiers the runs offer variety and challenge.
Tips: This is not a cheap getaway. Be prepared to pay. But you do get what you pay for and this is a definite worthwhile splurge.
Also, you may experience mild altitude sickness so keep hydrated and look into ways to treat if you haven't skied at this elevation before.

The Grand Summit was, overall, awesome. Attended a sizable multi-day conference there that my company hosted, and the staff was on top of everything - from logistics for the hotel, to logistics for the events. The establishment itself was extremely nice and comfortable with a pleasant, rustic, yet modern, aire, and the food that was provided was thoroughly outstanding. My only reason for docking one star is due to the room itself that I stayed in. I'm not sure if the walls were just thinner than usual, or if the door for the conjoined room was poorly thought-out, but I could hear the neighboring party (who was not affiliated with my event) as clear as if I were in the room with them and their rambunctious children and frequently-screaming newborn. As this was a work event, I was trying to do some work in between meetings and dinners, and the lack of soundproofing made that task quite a challenge. I realize it was just kind of the luck of the draw that I, A, had a conjoined room, and B, that a vacationing family happened to land on the other side, but I would think that such an otherwise outstanding establishment would have a bit better soundproofing in place. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying at Grand Summit, as it truly is a beaut place with a lot to do nearby and great food; however, if you can request a non-conjoining room, definitely do so, as I'm fairly certain that that was the primary contributor to the noise.

Lovely hotel! The room was beautiful, the pool was relaxing with a great atmosphere. We especially liked that there were multiple hot tubs so it didn't get too crowded. There was an unfortunate incident where the valet lost our car keys, but they handled it really well and made it right! We'll be staying here again!
