I have had good experiences here all clean good versatile food nice staff, the always endeavor, the guests are well.

The restaurants are excellent, the rooms are beautiful, the service is level. All liked it!

This hotel is still a highlight at Makadi Bay after all these years.
I looked at it again today. A dream.
Of course the normal rooms are a bit dark, but on vacation you do not stay there.
The whole area has so many opportunities every day to find another nice place for yourself, it is definitely worth a holiday.

The facility is partially in need of renovation. A hotel towel was stolen from us at the hotel jetty. Honesty is not rewarded here but punished with usury prices for the towel to be replaced. In addition, you can "hardly" do a move yourself (e.g. carry a suitcase), but should have everything done by employees who then tip quite vehemently.

Very nice hotel area, that furniture is quite taken which did not bother me as you only have to sleep in the room. The staff is very friendly and hard-working. Food is varied and tasty. Very nice beach with a jetty. I will book the hotel again.

January 2017 Became crazy about the massage. I did one. Was very disappointing. A lot of money for little. Hunted and offering many extra things for an additional payment. Absolutely never start. Never come back here again. For me this holiday was a let down, among other things.

Best service staff, no matter if from beach boy to waiter, all very nice !! For snorkeling this hotel is perfect. I will always come back.

The hotel beach has access to a beautiful and large coral reef, any additional snorkeling trips are unnecessary.

Room very old and the room sibd very dark. The service staff in the main restaurant and the bar seem annoyed and are only courteous, if you in advance Teinkgeld. Otherwise, they pay little attention. The room service guys are super friendly. Just as the chefs and cooks freshly prepare the eggs or pancakes. The food is ok from the selection but after 3 days you want variety without extra charge.

The service leaves a lot to be desired. The furniture is old and spoiled. At the time of booking they said it was all inclusive (misleading advertisement!). We are still here, however, well-deferred. Feather

Hotel area is old and come down. Everything is tried to get more money from the clientele. It is addressed every 5 minutes if you do not want to book something extra (massage, restaurant, coffee, shave etc ..) just annoying. Our bathtub already had a brown discoloration. Waiters and other staff are either annoyed or try to get more tips through spells.
The only good thing was the snorkeling.
Never again for me.

March 2019 Was a nice holiday. The hotel nice the food was something for everyone! Room also nice! For the price you can not expect a 10 star hotel the staff is mega friendly and you have a nice beach and lots of other options to do there. We will go there again as it was beautiful for the price! Everything was very old, also the beach chairs and covers were damaged. Otherwise a very nice area.

I've been flying to Egypt for 25 years and have never visited such a bad hotel. When we arrived in the morning completely exhausted, the reception said that we had to wait to check-in. They kept us waiting for 4 hours in the morning because Mohamed was unable to find us in the system. I have never experienced such an incompetent reception in my life. It seemed like people didn't know what they were doing. The next shock was the room. The whole room smelled of fumes from a varnish, where I found later with great horror that these were highly toxic liquids that were used in all rooms! Ultimately we only got after 6 hours !!! our room, in which the toilet stank, was not cleaned and in which we had to stay for the week. To the hotel itself. It's a very old facility. The staff was unfriendly and only on profit and backschisch. In the evening, highly poisonous substances are also sprayed on the edges of the grass to kill the insects there, which are usually completely harmless. The food was rather liberating. Every day the same. There wasn't even oatmeal. The gym was 5 per person, which is not at all a 5 * hotel. I would give the hotel a maximum of 2 *. Nevertheless, after 5 days we were so sick of it that we changed the hotel at our own expense and had at least 2 nice days in Egypt.
Overall, it was my worst vacation in Egypt in 25 years. I will never book this hotel again. If you want to enjoy a great vacation, pay 50 more, it's really worth it!

This hotel complex is exceptionally attractive, beautifully lit at night. A jetty leads to the very attractive reef. The facility is about 13 years old, which you can feel in the rooms. But all in all well-kept and especially the garden. Bravo to the responsible manager. Here I distribute five stars.

Unfortunately, the Dom restaurant, which is usually open, is not particularly up-to-date in culinary terms. Very unimaginative and loveless cuisine. a very mediocre chef. It's a shame that only international food is offered, I would have loved to have tasted more local oriental cuisine. At most one star

We ate very well in the Thai restaurant. three stars.

Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, but it's okay.
My recommendation to buy a 25 GB directly at Vodafone Airport for around 25.

Top hotel, super nice staff! No 5 star facilities but 5 stars for hospitality

Excellent hotel!!! 1. cockroaches and bugs in the rooms this is to change the category of the room from the usual dabel (DBl) we get deluxe 2. Rooms are cleaned, only for $, the sheet is changed, but only turning it inside out (11 nights) was turned over 4 times. 3. Restaurants - there is no desire to even describe these "dishes" in order to provoke a gag reflex in the reader. The problem with napkins in this "hotel" is the same as in Ukraine with dollars, everyone is looking for them, but they are only given one at a time. It's the same with cutlery, it's easier to get your own. 4. The caring staff will collect your things from the loungers near the pool at exactly 17:00, so that someone does not tidy them up, but if you are not very nosy demanding to return all your things to you, your mother, then the polite and caring staff, as always, will write off lost to Bedouins or Putin :) ps. Of course there are pluses, but not in this hotel.

It's a really good hotel. We're really lucky to come here. Pool areas are great. Even though there is one pool it's very good and very spacious even when busy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is good even at late meal times. Rooms are all quite big, and are always being tidied by house keepers. There are many restaurants to choose from and all have very good food. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Egypt.

In our room near the lobby, you could wake up to the sounds of renovation in the morning from 7am, except this is really a beautiful hotel chain :)

The best hotel I've ever stayed in in Egypt.... staff all very friendly food great snorkelling banging... The only downside for me was very quite in day time could do with some chillout music apart from that wicked holiday and I will be going back next year..... The room was fantastic with the biggest of beds... Top tip book room 1209 beautiful view..... see you all soon from me mr Jamie Newbury the one with the bright shorts and the best tipper xxxxx

Outstanding grounds, but unfortunately for me bad food The enormous hotel complex is at first barely to overlook and the reef directly in front of the hotel is already worth a visit.

Hotel OK nice pool area, but not enough seats in the evening outside, you can nowhere else evade. The food is also very unimaginative.

The hotel does not deserve 5 stars, but the reef by the hotel compensates for everything

very nice hotel with house reef and large pool. The staff is always friendly and eager for the well-being of the guests. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. I liked the oriental flair very much. The food was very good and wholesome and above all the selection convinced. There are several restaurants where you can eat. If you want to snorkel, you can reach the house reef via a footbridge, where you can admire very well preserved corals and numerous fish species. Rafts are free to borrow locally. Beverage service is even on the beach and everything in the all-inclusive package. Overall, I can recommend the hotel with a very good conscience.

The all-inclusive services are limited. Food is average and rooms are clean but worn. Wi-Fi only in the lobby, with such a large hotel area you want more service. Instead, abolish the luggage service and improve the other service and all-inclusive services.

The complex is very spacious and the pool is very large. You can eat in different restaurants. The selection is very diverse. Even in the adjacent area you can eat. The all-inclusive drinks are kept very simple. Highly recommended was a candle-lit dinner on the beach. The room was clean and well decorated.

This is 100% NOT a 5 star hotel. Needs major renovation not to mention the bathroom cleanliness. Toilet , tiles, bath very dirty. Also room very dark and small things that are just very very wrong- example we were asking for 3 days straight for toilet paper and only received some once we tipped the housekeeper, remote control and air con switch broken. Only good thing about our room was the big balcony. Food is also awful. I don't know how they managed to make a no taste pizza as that's something that you normally cant go wrong. Only place where the food was okayish was the Lebanese which btw has nothing much to do with proper Lebanese food. However they will tell you that its fully booked but if you give them a tip you get a table straight away which I find super bad!!! Breakfast is bad not to mention the coffee. I mean we didn't starv but ...just bad for they advertise. We walked over to Palace as well which looked one step better but same. There is a pier tho from hotel direct to sea where you can snorkel which is pretty amazing as so many fishes.
Staff also keep making very inappropriate jokes which made me very uncomfortable many times.
Overall I would never go to this hotel again and don't recommend it.

A bit old, but very spacious and well-equipped rooms.
The jetty to the coral reef on the hotel beach is particularly noteworthy, as snorkeling tours are unnecessary, because there are turtles, rays, moray eels and cuttlefish, as well as countless species of fish to see on site.
The hotel complex with its pools and restaurants is very well laid out, so that despite the size of the hotel it is nowhere overcrowded.
Unfortunately the wifi v. a. clearly overloaded at rush hour in the evening.
The food in all of the hotel's restaurants (Italian, Lebanese, grill restaurant and Caribbean restaurant) was, without exception, really good and the selection in the respective restaurants was still large.

Food was very monotonous, (the same every day). The floor from the pool has suffered a lot.

Ok hotel area with snorkeling dock but impossible to walk in and swim from the beach. Don't get sick because hospitals are kind of like war camps. Do not buy all inclusive because the liquor is impossible to drink and the beer is diluted light beer. We all got stomach sick and had to eat antibiotics.

Nice quiet place, clean enough, accessible coral reef, but food buffets not good and always the same, wine lengthened with water, cocktails not good at all and different depending on who prepares them ... We must give tips to be served properly and many things are paying off despite the announced all-in ... In short, I do not recommend!

We were in 2015 for 2 weeks as a family on site! Food was not so good, the pools were in need of redevelopment and the staff moved only for tip! The complex is very nicely done, the other hotels in the whole belong to the same owner! You do not have to leave the facility! There is a nice in-house reef for snorkeling! There is not a beach! Here you have to go to the last hotel, there is one! But would not visit this facility!

Nice hotel in Makadi Bay. This is near Hurghada but only for tourists. Since you do not live near the local. There is even a wall around the hotels. Right on the red sea. The special is the long jetty which leads directly over the reef. Then you can go snorkeling right away without having to run through the shallow water for ever. The hotel itself got a bit dated but it is cheap and the staff are really nice and cool. Of course, all inclusive . We will definitely be back

Everything worked great just the rooms are in need of renovation are just getting old just great location with great hausriff and very nice and friendly n staff in reception as well as in the Lagoon and the Lebanese had really great 14 days here

This hotel is a 3 star hotel. The hotel room is large but the toilet and shower are in urgent need of refurbishment. The room service is faulty. The staff needs to be trained so they know what privacy is and what not and when does man say good morning and good evening. The endless and for the moment not suitable jokes are not expected from the staff.

This hotel is absolutely not worth five stars.
Rooms are in a catastrophic condition, dirty, broken, poorly repaired. In one day, the entire shower bracket came towards me. Not everything is all inclusive here. Food is sometimes really disgusting and does not correspond to any hygiene standard.
I also found hair 3 times in my food!
We're never going back here! We have been to Egypt several times and have booked 5 stars, we have never experienced anything like that!
