Staying here for a week long conference - a lovely hotel that I will definitely come back to. It's spacious and luxurious, and the atmosphere has a kind ambient vibe that echoed that of the city itself.

Good clean rooms, nicely sized with good views of the city. Large TV in room. Outdoor pool and fitness center are both very nice. Double beds are comfy, but a bit small. Booked room through third party and was unable to switch to king room, understable given busy holiday weekend, but would have been nice to be able to switch. Towels are a bit too hard. Would rebook for future visit.

Overall had a great visit. Stayed in the hospitality suite. Room was nice but could use a little updating. Service was outstanding from everyone! The bar downstairs is great. The river walk is downstairs. Alamodome is a short walk away. This hotel is located very close to everything. I would reccomend staying here when in San Antonio.

This is a beautiful hotel, I am very impressed! In the middle of everything and right next to the famous Riverwalk - great location.Clean big rooms and comfortable beds. Also very quiet. Ruth's Chris steakhouse is amazing as well....make sure to try their steak! Looking forward to coming back here.

So with over four hundred dollars you get overpriced valet, no complementary breakfast, no swimming pool, 2 full size beds that are harder than the floor. I will not be there again nor will the rest of the 20 other couple that were there with me during the fiesta event. Horrible place, looks pretty, but way over priced for what you get. Embassy suites on the river walk was way better and for the same price you get everything the Grand Hyatt does not!

Sneaky Hyatt. Staid here 3 days/nights. The last night was a free earned night that i called weeks In advance and also confirmed upon my arrival. When checking out and after paying I questioned a charge for the last day. Turns out they had charged me 1/2 for the night that should have been free. In short, it was removed but this should have never happened. Still wondering about other fees but no one can give me answers.

As for stay, minor issues such as lamps not working, plenty of light coming in through room door (maybe worn weather strip) think privacy, AC filter door hanging. And $29/a night for parking is excessive!!!

My family and I stayed one night at Grand Hyatt San Antonio, and it was relieving to return to a clean room with a city view at the end of the day. The room is nicely decorated, there is a refrigerator, two comfortable queen beds, and a lounge chair that my 13 year old sister used to sleep on. She said it was comfortable. The location is convenient if you're looking to look around the River and the Alamo. The staff were amiable. Overall, it's a good place to stay if you don't mind the price.

Hotel is located close the convention center and river walk and both destinations are easily walkable. Was able to get early check in, which was nice. Rooms are comfortable, but nothing special. Has decent bar and coffee shop in the lobby. Fitness center is very nice.

Customer Focus! From check in to check out the entire hotel staff went above and beyond to meet our every need. I must mention Ariel in the Grand Club who was the warmest, most accommodating attendant we've ever had. She kept the breakfast bar open past its regular closing time to accommodate us, wrapped food for us to take, gave us free goodie bags with traill mix and THEN helped us carry our things down to our room! Great job Ariel! Overall an excellent stay, and we'll be back again when in S.A.

Love coming back to this place. I used to travel here for work consistently and have found myself coming back just to visit San Antonio. Very modern with a friendly staff, Judy in the Grand Club always makes it feel like home.

Unfortunately I didn't get any of the names of your valet staff, but each one of you was a Blessing and I have no doubt that my mom and I are not the only ones who Think so! One of you allowed us to valet yesterday even though you "weren't supposed to" since we weren't guests of the hotel. You held the car door open for me and Patiently waited while I transferred into my wheelchair, instead of trying to "help me" which usually makes things take longer! When we thanked you for your Kindness you said "it's the least I can do" and while I'm not sure what you Meant specifically, I Know that Whatever your Intentions, they were Positive. When we returned for our car last night we were Met with the same Kindness by ANOTHER one of your staff!
Today, again, we Experienced Kindness, Joy and Divine Presence with MORE of your staff! So, Thank you for Bringing, Who I Choose to Name The Holy Spirit, to your work!

The location was great! Had easy access to the Riverwalk (a big attraction for San Antonio) as well as the Alamo (another big attraction). Both these places were within walking distance less than 8 minutes even with stop lights and poor weather.

The hotel itself is very well equipped with plenty service personnel to open doors, answer questions, provide help, etc. The buffet breakfast is superb, does come with a server hence a tip needed for the buffet, as the server will bring you drinks (of all kinds) and provide a happy face for your mornings.

The overall experience is excellent. I highly recommend the Hyatt for your stay at San Antonio.

The room had an amazing view overlooking the city and the beds were super comfortable. There was a big storm at the time, but I couldn't hear the thunder. The hotel had great insulation. Our phone didn't work and kept ringing so I disconnected it. The water pressure was perfect. Overall it was a great nights sleep.

I liked the location and the staff were pleasant. The rooms were nice. It wasnt a WOW experience. But, the proximity to everything was very convenient. 3 nights ran over $700 and this was a group rate for an annual convention; pricing could have been better. As a side note, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse was really good as their $59- 3 course dinner was a really good value.

We have been trying hotels downtown one at a time for little stay-cays. We have always had high hopes for the Grand Hyatt. Pictured it being spectacular etc.

We will say the hotel is clean. Rooms very clean. Modern. Updated. The room is nice. The view is okay. Overlooks the huge roof of the convention center. Cant do anything with that. View of the tower and alamodome is nice however.

We just were expecting a little more of the room thats all. We have stayed at both of the marriots nearby and we actually liked them more. Its just the feel of the room. Again its just our personal liking.

Mattress is okay. We ended up going home to let the dogs out and feed them and was going to return after for the night but decided to skip and stay home instead. This was the first time we actually did that. The room just didnt make us excited to return.

Im sure everyone else who comes to stay will love the hotel and room. Parking is extra in the garage under the hotel. Valet. Restaurant in the lobby and on riverwalk level. Close to a lot.

Worst hotel in San Antonio....Bar Rojo has the worst staff. The breakfast area downstairs is pitiful, staff has no sense of urgency, buffet is empty, staff loiters around and talks loudly....NEVER GOING BACK, stay across at Marriott!!!!
