Great hotel with a great view and And quick access to the river walk. You can easily walk to any place you want to eat or any store you wanna shop at. They are very helpful and very friendly staff there can be very insightful in information on any of the places you might want to go.
Fantastic location right on the Riverwalk, with so many dining and scenic choices. Also a short walk from historic old downtown sights and shopping. Staff is awesome, friendly, helpful. Rooms are as expected --- excellent! Highly recommended.
New year eve 2018, stayed there to watch fireworks from the room, and it was an amazing experience
Beautiful lobby we used for a photoshoot. Parking was easy.
So far it's been great! Great people, friendly people and wonderful service.
Such a nice hotel. The staff was great even accommodating 2 large convenstions they were very on top of things. Rooms are very large and they are able to provide hypoallergenic pillows and comforters. It's in a great location with so many great things in walking distance. The view was great and room service was very timely and delicious granted we just ordered dessert but so yummy. Room service orders come from the attached restaurant Ruth s Chris Steak House. I would definitely stay here sgain.
My stay at the Hyatt was very nice. My room was clean yet, the outside noise was apparent. Conference rooms were tidy yet, chilly. Food prepared was delicious! Staff was professional and friendly.
I really loved the wide open space used for the exhibition floor. The staff was also very pleasant to interact with during our conference. The Grand Hyatt also has an amazing salas!
Nice hotel but if you get a room
Close to the elevator it is going to be a noise night.
It is impossible to sleep.
Clean and modern plus friendly staff! In walking distance to the river.
Wide open lobby, rooms are great, staff is wonderful, not to mention the roof top pool. I'd highly recommend this Grand Hyatt..
9 of 10
Was a quick visit for a conference however my experience with the hotel was amazing. Assisted me with all questions I had.
We were greeted at the diamond welcome desk. The associate named Pinky was absolutely fabulous. Our rooms were absolutely outstanding, the views were spectacular and the service was extraordinary. My overall experience at the Hyatt over exceeded my expectations.
Great location. Great service. The rooms are beautiful, neat, and clean.
Luxurious hotel with wonderful accommodations and one of the friendliest and most helpful staffs I have encountered. Very conveniently located over the River Walk, next door to the convention center, and just a short walk from the Alamo.
Disappointing... we were looking forward to staying in an upscale hotel for our weekend away in San Antonio so we chose the Grand Hyatt. The hotel was just ok... a comfortable clean room... that we could have gotten at La Quinta or Holiday Inn or any number of other competitors for a lower price. Also, the water in the bathroom only ran hot. Never could get the tap to run cold. Finally, we paid $40/day for in and out parking. Our room key was suppose to provide access and egress from the parking garage. It never worked making the process of driving anywhere a big hassle. I would check with one of the other numerous downtown hotels in San Antonio before I stayed here again.
I purchased our room from a website like priceline. I paid 158. The best hotel room I have stayed in... hands down..
It was a deluxe room. . Outside the door is a doorbell.. It had a living room with a restroom then the next room was the bed room king size, with a master bathroom. Huge shower and tub! The room number was 2430, an employee told us it was one of the two rooms they have like that in the whole hotel. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again! And hopefully in that same room!
Wonderful Customer Service, from the Front Desk, Valet, and restaurants, just fabulous! Realized I had forgotten some items in my room, only after getting home and unpacking. So, I called the hotel and spoke with Dee in Housekeeping. Dee said she needed to check the Lost and Found and with the Housekeeping staff, and that she would be calling me back later that evening. In less than an hour, she called me back to tell me my items had been found. We made arrangements to have them delivered to my home. This hotel s Customer Service didn t end when we checked out, Dee has made an already great stay, even better. Can t say enough good things about the hotel and staff; would highly recommend!
Nice hotel with direct access yo riverwalk. Here for a convention and not disappointed. Water pressure is great.
Suite was clean and beautiful. Employees were very helpful, wspecially vallet amd bartender. Bar is very nice!
Clean, spacious, good location for walking, great dinner
Our stay for Sam Japan was very good. Great service whenever we needed it, and the event pricing was great to boot. I only wish the wristband policy wasn't as strict, but I say that as someone who doesn't fudge how man people are gonna be in the room to sleep
Had a little issue getting a broken fridge fixed, but a nice property. Upscale.
Hotel is nice. Lobby gives the appearance of a high end hotel. I expected the rooms to be more upscale than they are.
Good hotel. A bit disappointed with room maintenance though. During my stay I noticed, especially in the our restroom, the vent was super dirty which did not helped my allergies. Also the bottom of the bed frames on both rooms I booked were really badly scratched. I know you can have your pets stay with you so maybe pets had stayed in those rooms. Also I didn't care for the soap the hotel provides as it leaves a lot of residue on the skin. Very disappointed at the front desk. I noticed when checking in they were offering complementary drinks and no one offered me.
It is the "Hyatt" of luxury. Truly great experience. Heated rooftop pool, quiet rooms, friendly staff. The room service menu is a little pricey, but that comes with the territory I guess. It's very lovely though.
The hotel is very nice, but also very spendy. Honestly it is not worth all the extra fee's. Valet has very expensive and didn't enhance my experience. I was sent down here for a 4 days trade show by my company ADP Lemco, Inc. That was fun because it was in the same building, so I could take a quick nap after the show each night before we went out. I would stay here again but only for a trade show.
Everything about the Grand Hyatt was extremely nice. The only issues we had were the barely warmer than room temperature showers and just how loud our room was being beside a service area. It sounds like we are trying to sleep on the elevator, from all of the elevator noises that we hear constantly. The hottest the shower has been is not even hot enough to safely wash dishes, and feels about 20 degrees too cool to take a comfortable shower.
Customer service is excellent. The room I stayed in this trip looks remodeled, nicer than the room from my stay last year. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast offerings at the Perks restaurant on the lobby floor was reasonable.
Escalators provide continuous access to the various conference floors. Great setup for conferences vs. elevators.
The Grand Hyatt was a great place to meet with colleagues during my visit to the golf industry show!
I was here for the TMEA Convention. Everything was great except the acoustics for the choral performances.
Excellent facilities, clean and plenty of room to hold a large event.
Friendly customer service! Rooms are clean and have nice views.
Spent my time at the bar downstairs, Bar Rojo, which was really nice. Service was a little slow, apparently because of technical issues, but the drinks were well-made and our hostess was very friendly. I go here every year during PAX and have always enjoyed myself.
Front staff and valet were very courteous and helpful. The bartender lady at Bar Rojo makes awesome drinks too! Kudos ladies!
Great service, clean rooms. Definitely would come again!
We filled out our breakfast tag, left it on the door, heard it get picked up later that night. Called at 9:10 to see when we would get the breakfast and the incredibly rude employee said "it's your fault you didn't fill it out. I don't pick them up, my boss does." To which we said "so you are saying its my fault that our breakfast wasn't delivered." And she said "yes. It is." We talked to the hotel manager who also said it was our fault. Unbelievable. It wasn't out fault yet we were blamed by every one. We both work in customer service and if we ever told a customer that something was their fault, we would be fired! We never received anything close to an apology. Will never stay there again!!
Good location near the river walk, the Alamo, and the convention center downtown. Rooms that face face east market street are noisy from the cars. Rooms are nothing special. Service is pretty good though.
Stayed here for a conference. I really enjoyed my stay and the local was great!
I had a great experience at The Grand Hyatt! The people at the front desk were amazing, the staff cleaning the rooms and the bar tenders were second to none! They were courteous respectful professional and truely care. They are wonderful people to talk too. Your recruiter did a fantastic job finding the best people for that role for sure!
Thanks again and if I ever go back to San Antonio I'm staying at The Grand Hyatt!
I was here for a supply chain conference. It's right on the river walk and very close to all the night life. Clean hotel.
Convenient downtown location near Convention Center, Alamodome, and River Walk. Stayed 5 nights. Attentive, courteous staff. Average rooms.
The lobby is very nice and the bar seems like a great place to have happy hour
Area was great, the room was damp b/c of poor ventilation
Parking is a disaster. Very tiny narrow parking garage. The location is great , connected to the Convention Center but getting g their for a function was a nightmare. I wanted valet parking but was not able because when I got off the highway and tuned from Commerce St, I would have had to go back around the block. Traffic was awful. I understand this is to be expected in Downtown SA. It was just so stressful getting there in traffic and then that crazy underground parking garage was horrible.
Great hotel. Excellent location and clean. Would stay here again. Tons to do inside and out.
Beautiful facility, nice staff but I didn't understand why they had a shortage on wash cloths.Ate @ the restaurants on the river walk.
In the center of everything, enjoyable and lots to do.
I was over charger for a 2 bed room when I checked in they told me 200 and when I went to check out they charge me 450 dollar the stay was not that great I always stay at Wyndham and I can say I still choose the Wyndham over Hyatt
Didn't get the room I reserved which was for the view. $25 to park yourself and no free wifi or Internet.
Minor reservation issue upon arriving but they were quick to resolve. The hotel is beautiful and modern. The workout areas is above par with ample space for a variety of work out options. The outdoor pool was amazing and there was ample seating around the pool. The shower took way to long to get warm but was visually appealing.
Comfy place to stay. Local to everything. Great staff. Pool was nice and warm
Location is good, very close to everything. The room is clean and the staff are all very friendly. Parking late at night is a struggle though.
I went there for my husband's work Christmas party. We had a room for the event, as well as food and a bar. Everything was really lovely, and the staff were excellent.
Beautiful hotel with beautiful amenities, walking distance to Downtown San Antonio.
Nice rooms, nice bar, friendly staff, right next to the river walk
The rooms are kind of average. But if you are a fitness enthusiast, you'll love their gym on the 5th floor.
Great location! Dried up pepperoni on the floor. Also very dangerous my 6 year old found medication on the fridge from a previous guests stay. Luckily she did not take it but could have been very scary situation.
This is the second stay with our dog and I must say this is a nice pet-friendly hotel for people with pets. They have such a nice pool, with extra furniture to relax outside while enjoying the great view, a large gym that was clean at all times, and a large lobby that easily connects to the Riverwalk. Our suite had everything we wanted -separate living room with TV, kitchen area with microwave and fridge, bedroom with TV and a spacious bathroom. I have seen consistent service from the Lounge team Ariel, Cindi, and Pinkie throughout the stay at the hotel. They made sure the guests left the Lounge area satisfied with their interactions. My only suggestion for the hotel management team would be to provide WIFI with good speed even if the hotel rooms are fully booked with guests or even with business conferences because it is very inconvenient when office work or even browsing cannot be done during the stay.
Very nice rooms. Wonderful beds. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.
The hotel was great. Rooms were clean and quiet. Dining at Ruth's Kris was delicious and the close proximity to the river walk is great for the night life.
Nice hotel. The lobby always seems bustling. Steaks in basement.
Great place to sta tonight friendly staff. Nice pool and great views
Picked up an UBER ride under the canopy~loved bar rojo!! Love love love the grand hyatt..
